Had the same problem when I first tried on my Maker way back when. I then tried glitter iron on and cut the shadow layer on cardstock, it’s so much cleaner looking and you get a lot of sparkle!🤩 Since then I’ve only used glitter cardstock with my dies. Blessings.🕊🥰🙋🏻♀️💜tfs
I wonder how it would work if you put transfer tape on your mat before you place the glitter paper (glitter side down). You may still need to tape your cardstock down, but it will keep the glitter from dirty ingredients up the mat. Not sure if the extra layer on the may affect the cut.

Hmmm.. that’s an interesting idea, and as I’m always too lazy to scrub my mats, I’m going to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!
If you roll your mat away from any type of cardstock it will release easier.
I normally do that, but for some reason on camera I forgot! 🤦♀️ thanks!
@@katherinelearnsstuff lol yeah sometimes I see that happen so I just commented to help others who may do that. Even I forget sometimes.
