Great video Sir.. if i can humbly offer a technique for pulling those factory mufflers off with no cussing or puffing.. Small 90 degree, "L" shaped bracket with a hole each end bolt one hole down onto the muffler by the securing tab under the bag frame.... bolt the other hole to the end of a slide hammer (facing backward).... then tap it backward and it works them off with no grunting or puffing... Hope that may help you some day, it works for me sir... Best regards from England.. Del.

@@sikbaggers You are most welcome Sir, sharing the old hacks and 'get-rounds' is what we all should do right?, I'm glad i could help out with that and save you some effort in the future. I know this video has been out for awhile but as I’ve mentioned before I’m just now starting to do upgrades on my ultra limited. I stopped by and was discussing TAB B.A.M. Sticks with my mechanic today. Then I came home and found your video on their header pipe. Now I know which way I’m going, TAB all the way. Thanks again Steven.
Hey jim...thats great man..I love these TABS and the headers..really easy install and they tune well...I just got the new 24 in here and that was the first thing I did was get TABS for it...still waiting on headers though becasue they havent unlocked the tunes for the 24 yet outside of getting a HD tuner, which Ill take a hard pass on lol Ill wait for dynojet to unlock it
I just purchased a 2024 road glide. I’ve installed slip ons and tuned a heritage, but not a touring motorcycle. The heritage required gaskets. Does the touring models need them as well?
They all require gaskets...but if your bike is brand new, just inspect the gaskets and make sure HD didnt pinch the gaskets when they installed the exhaust...Ive seen it happen right from the factory.
They sound awesome. I agree with you, especially on a touring bike. Louder is not necessarily better. Awesome how to for those of us learning to wrench on our bikes. Thanks! Shiny side up!
Yes sir...Not a huge fan of listening to that all day while riding...maybe 20 years ago lol Glad they video helped man. We have a lot of how tos on the channel.
Thank you for the video, beautiful bike. How did you fix what is called reversion or exhaust getting back into the engine with a straight trough head pipes?
That set up looks and sounds sweet! Still can’t get over how badass that fat front end looks! Great video and once again you make it look like something anyone can tackle with a little time and effort. Thanks so much for showing us how to do these mods ourselves and for keepin it all free! Ride safe brother.
Thank you Kevin! Yeah the exhaust is pretty easy and straight forward but hell even I watched a video a few years ago before tackling one lol thanks for checking it out bro!
I love the sound ,love the look ,from a performance standpoint how are they not that it really matters Im not doing any racing with my bagger just curious?
You won't gain any seat of the pants hp gains from just slip ons. If you do a full stage 1 , open air cleaner, cat less headers and a tune it will wake the bike up alittle
Looks good sounds good! A 2 into 1 is the best performance (d&d). Fuel moto headers are second (and they reuse stock heat shields). True duels are the worst for performance.
For bottom end torque yes. For overall power no, a true dual will usually out perform the others up top. I run true duals on mine and the scream above 3200 rpm with the right cams. The combined head pipes just aid in scavenging of the exhaust gas from the cylinder on the low end.
I'm not sure if I missed it in the video or not but are those the Zombie Baffles ? Also what do you think of the screaming eagle cam and tuner to go with tab 2-1-2 with zombie baffles ? I just want a little more power I'm not looking to race anyone.
Great Vid as usual Steve, I'm sold they sound Badd Ass !! Really dig the different options on the baffles and the end caps just a tight looking system Great job. Thanks for your hard work !!
Pro tip: throw the exhaust gaskets in the freezer the night before install. They contain just enough metal that they’ll shrink a tad making Install a breeze and no crushed edges on your new gaskets. She sounds good brother.
I just got a ‘24 Road Glide and was just going to do the 5 inch Tab slip ons with the zombie baffles but now I’m thinking I need headers too and probably the mid level baffles. I don’t see too much variety for the 24’s yet as far as headers and tuners. My buddy says not to go with HD’s Screaming Eagle tuner and has also advised I go with Khrome Werks. What’s your thoughts on that?
the only thing we have right now for headers and tuners is through harley so i would wait for something better. I have a video coming out soon on the krome werks slip ons...while they are fine I dont think they compare to tabs, at all. I was pretty underwhelmed with them. I installed a set on a 23 road glide st a few weeks and will be publishing that video soon. As far as slip ons go..just pick one thats in your budget and you like the way it looks and sounds...they dont provide any seat of the pants HP gains. Out of the hundreds of slip ons Ive installed the tabs have been by far the best sounding and honestly I prefer the 4.5s sound over the 5" they are just throatier sounding
The S&S are legit! I installed a set on a bike just last year..S&S headers and air cleaner...cant remember what slip ons we did on that bike but they hold up nicely, look great and sound just as good.
Im a new channel member, I just noticed you have the aftermarket side covers AND rear passenger pegs!??? I've been told by all thats not possible, did you modify the side covers or is it just the brand of aftermarket floorboards? Or brackets? I have a 2018 CVO Street Glide ( Gunship ) I run the Willie G floorboards ( yes, I know..but I like them! ) but I would love to have that style of side covers...Thanks for any info or advice..
You can rub boards with a lot of stretched side covers. I have the advanblack color matched side covers and I don't have any mods done. You can buy rear floorboard extenders as well if you run into that issue. Easy fix. And thank you for the sub..much appreciated. Ever have any questions just let me know.
Very good video! Thinking about TAB Performance to get more sound. I have a 2012 RGC with 4" Rineharts with stock header. Are the 4.5" Bam sticks with zombie baffles alot louder with stock headers or would I have to change headers as well? I do have a screaming eagle pro tuner with the bike. It has a stage 1 on it now.
They are louder than those Rineharts for sure but opening up the headers will give a true stage 1, as long as they stock headers are on there they are restricting air flow. The slip ons are pretty much the same as far as the tune and the performance so you you only need to find one you like the looks of and the sound. I have these bam sticks on here still and love them!
What's your thoughts and opinions on the Jones Full Boar Slip On's? I just recently purchased a 2020 Road Glide and looking to replace the stock mufflers without breaking the bank! Once I get the mufflers changed I'll be swapping the bars for a set of 12 inch apes.
They are pretty throaty sounding ...there inst much difference in any sip on other than sound. Youre not going to gain any "seat of the pants" HP from just adding slip ons...Id say get what you can afford and what sound you like and youll be happy.

Steve, I just installed the 4.5 khromewerks slipons with my V&H power duals. I'm also running the Advanblack 4.5 stretched bags with the shuttle adjustable saddle bag bracket. Left side is perfect but the right side I am unable to move the pipe towards the fender to prevent it from touching the bag. This is because of the axle nut that doesn't give much leeway to rotate pipe before it contacts it. I have the legend rear suspension but I don't think this is causing the issue. Any tips would be greatly appreciated since I see guys running 5 inch slipons with the extended ba8nds with no issue. Please help
yeah nah its not the legands..its the exhaust..ive seen a few come in the shop like that...4.5 and they dont have a large enough crease in them for the bolt for the shock...you can try changing the large bolt out to a button head bolt..it gives a little more clearance. If it doesnt fix it youll have to shim out your bags in the back a little bit. Its not uncommon
Steve, what I noticed is that once I sat in the bike and the suspension compressed, I had more clearance to move the pipe over. So, I did that while having my wife move the pipe over and secure it and I was able to move it over just enough to clear the bag. Also made sure it was fine when I stood up off the bike as well. Thx as always
Hey Steve, great video love the bike. Question for you, I’m looking to get that same Milwaukee cordless ratchet, it looks like it does the job pretty well I just wanted to get your input on it and it looks like it’s a 3/8” which is the one I want to pick up. Thanks.
yeah...I can honestly say this is the most used tool I own...pick up some 3/8 standard and metric allan and hex bit sockets and you will use the heck out of it. Also the extra batteries are pricey.,..I get mine from ebay 2XFor Milwaukee 48-11-2460 48-11-2440 M12 XC 5.0 LITHIUM Cordless Impact Battery for 37.99 ...the actual battery lasts forever but its nice to ahve back ups in case you forget to charge

Great video, by chance do you still have the true dual headers that you took off of it? I’ve been looking for a set to put on my street glide, but just don’t have that kind of money to drop right now.
Awesome video...I currently have a M8 Stage 4 with the 4.5 BAM Stick and Zombie Baffles. I considering going with the Tab Performance 2-1-2 Header and the RS 468 Cam. Your thoughts???
A question not related to the pipes, though they look amazing and sound great! What brand of highway pegs are on the Whiskey project? Looking for a set and those look great. Thanks and keep up the great work and videos.
Thank you for these videos. I enjoy watching them. Now that you have had this exhaust for a year now, are you still happy with it? Also I would like to know your thoughts on decatting a set of stock head pipes on a M8.
Absolutely love this exhaust ...still sounds amazing and the black is holding up nicely..didnt faded like some others Ive had. As far as decating...if you are trying to save some money then it is fine.
Hey Steve sorry for all of the questions about bam sticks I didn’t realize you had done a awesome video on them untill I ran across it over a nice stiff bourbon 🥃 and coke, I really want to get that exact setup ( 4 1/2 bam sticks with the 2 1/2 baffle’s) the price on these seems pretty steep to me so I’m wondering if there is any way of getting them at least a little cheaper like waiting till I get to Daytona in march ? Looking forward to buying you a beer down there and I hope you and your family have an amazing thanksgiving !
Hey, steve yeah I shot this video right after Daytona 2 years ago and I still love them! I didn't see them at Daytona but then again I wasn't looking for them...probably check out their Facebook or give them a call to see if they will be there..usually exhaust companies will sell them at full price but maybe offer a free install at rallies.
Nice, I would put the sound of my 17 Road Glide 107 M8 Screamin Eagle stage 2 torque cam with Bassani Headers for M8 with Screamin eagle Street Cannons slip ons right up there the same and probably actually better.

Great video, by chance do you still have the true dual headers that you took off of it? I’ve been looking for a set to put on my street glide, but just don’t have that kind of money to drop right now.
Im sorry man they went on a bike less than 2 days after I pulled them off.
I figured it was a long shot, but you’ll never know unless you ask.
Thunder header…straight up performance
its a nice pipe for sure.
I always enjoy your Videos! Thanks again.
Thank you for checking it out Jeff!
Love the videos very detailed. Those pipes sounds killer
Thank you David...we love the tabs...lots of compliments on the deep tone of these.
They sound amazing, cool video thanks!!!
You're welcome...I love them! Great deep tone!
Definitely enjoyed the video brother and you just gained a subscriber.
Awesome man thank you...much appreciated. Be safe!
Thank you for the reply.
Have you checked out the tab 50cal ?
why yes,...yes I have...here is my video th-cam.com/video/9-Ba3wk1yQ4/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the video, I do like the exhaust tips never heard of TAB but I have now. I will check them out.
Man they are SICK! I love the 4.5" low rumble growl. Thanks for checking them out.
Looks great!!! I've been using Tab for a while now and they make an awesome product with excellent support.
Yes sir love these things!
Nice sounding pipes. Are you happy with that fat front tire?Would you recommend the fat front mod?
thank you and yes...not yes but hell yes...I love it..rides very smooth, very easy to make slow turns....id do ti again in a heartbeat
Might have missed it but what header did you go with?
And sounds amazing!
its the TAB headers too.
will the TAB slip on work with Python headers
Awesome video...I currently have a M8 Stage 4 with the 4.5 BAM Stick and Zombie Baffles. I considering going with the Tab Performance 2-1-2 Header and the RS 468 Cam. Your thoughts???
Do you have a stage 4 and stock headers?
@@sikbaggers Yes.
The SE High Output Header, however, it still has the "Cat" in it.
A question not related to the pipes, though they look amazing and sound great! What brand of highway pegs are on the Whiskey project? Looking for a set and those look great. Thanks and keep up the great work and videos.
The pegs, brake pedal and shifters are from Baddad...the 9000 series. Thanks for checking out the video man..much appreciated.
@@sikbaggers Thanks brother. Ride safe.
I believe my tabs actually sound better than they did initially. maybe a tad bit deeper rumble with some aging....kinda like my ex wife when she aged
Sounds awesome! 👏
Wheeeew! Im actually excited to ride my bike after putting these on!
Now that you have had them awhile, still happy with your baffle choice?
love them!! actually shooting a video on the 50 cal 5" exhaust now...still hands down the best exhaust ive heard on the market
love your channel. thank you so much. Going to try a get some coins together and put these on my 2016 free wheeler
thank you steve!
Great video boss.
Thank you man...love these things..thanks for checking it out!
Any motor upgrades been done?
No motor upgrades done to this bike
great video! what is that cool wrench?
Very nice looking and sounding exhaust, Thank you!!!
Thank you roger....thanks for checking it out
Why Tab vs Fuel Moto jackpots? The 2/1/2 setup through Fuel Moto seem like a way better product.
Nice, I would put the sound of my 17 Road Glide 107 M8 Screamin Eagle stage 2 torque cam with Bassani Headers for M8 with Screamin eagle Street Cannons slip ons right up there the same and probably actually better.
Thank for checking it out Jeff...The video doesnt do it much justice...I tried lol
What year bike and color is that. Really like that color
Thanks! 2015 thw color is Amber Whiskey
@@sikbaggers is that a custom color
No..they had the amber whisky on 2015 touring models
@@sikbaggers thank you
looking at getting a motorcycle lift like the black and orange one you have. Can you tell me make and model and if you are happy with it?
Its the Titan XL found here titanlifts.com/motorcycle/titan-1000d-xlt-motorcycle-lift Love it man...no issues
@@sikbaggers thanks very much
What brand floor boards are those?

Thank you Kevin!
Watch this cool video, really like the brake pad what company is that from?
The brake and shifter pads are from Baddad
What seat is that is that just a stuck cvo seat or after market cvo seat and if after market what company
Its the 2018 CVO seat, it had orange stitching that year. I purchased the seat form a guy in FL and the matching backrest from HD
SIK Baggers thanks man appreciate the reply
Outstanding job! Hog Rider. 👊
Right on! I hope it helps! Thanks for checking out the video!
Great video. By any chance do you sell your t-shirts? Thanks for another great video. Your tips and product reviews really help. Stay safe. Dave G.
Thanks for checking them out. We do sell them over on the facebook group but I do a pre order about 3 times a year instead of just stocking them and selling them on a website. Check us out over there!
Question, can you put TAB on metrics?
They have them for Harley, Yamaha and Indian and some off road, check the link here. www.tabperformance.com/
@@sikbaggers thank you. I have a 16 Kawasaki Nomad 1700 and wanted TAB exhaust but couldn't find info ANYWHERE. Sucks for me
Are the zombie baffles 2.5” of 4” and 4.5” version?
Here where did you get the tank badges from?
Mike Suggit. Detroit Choppers. detroit-choppers.com/ gotta call because they are not listed on the site
I’m getting these for my “12” Roadglide with zombies! LOL
Hell yeah youre going to love them!
@@sikbaggers 👌✔️
Very nice job..thank you.
Thank you David!
Awesome bike and awesome video
Thanks! much appreciated man!
Thanks Steve, another super informative vlog! I installed my docking hardware and test fitted it with the King Tour Pack mounting bracket. Couple of adjustments and all is good. Thank you for your videos!
Great video man. Love the bags and the mufflers but are they little short?
Thank you Rodney..glad they helped you sir!
They are a tad shorter where I have them installed. The residue still clears the bags though...I could pull them slightly out,...there is room on the pipe.
WHAT KIND OF TUNER YOU WENT WITH ON THIS... AND DID YOU TUNE BEFORE HEADER INSTALL OR AFTER?
Power vision and always tune after the install. It cannot properly tune if the parts aren't installed.
Like the t-shirt LOL Nice exhaust
Thank you sir! I have them for sale over on the facebook page..20 bucks shipped. Man we have sold a ton of these lol...everyone loves to void that warranty
What kind of floor boards are those?
smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0762KC11C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0762CJ87D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 cheap..had them powder coated
Is that zombie muffler or 2.5 stander
it is the 2.5 medium baffle
Steve you need to put some Plazma rods on the back of Whisky.....
Thinking about some in the future..I had them on the SG for awhile
@@sikbaggers still looking at bringing my SGS over to you later this winter for a project..
