I've been riding since the 70's and have had almost exclusively all Japanese machines. Throw in a few very troublesome BMW's and a quite surprisingly dependable HD Low Rider S. I can't remember any one of the Big 4 bikes ever breaking down. Only flat tires and some bad fuel ever plagued any of them. I've had around 40-50 in my lifetime and 2 stand out above all others for dependability and fun. My '22 Z900 and 2 3rd gen DL650's. Anyways, great video and happy new year with hopefully lots of enjoyable rides in the future.
I presently have a 400cc Suzuki year 1984 GSX-R which has 4 cylinders and 16 valves, it has three disc brakes and monoshock with full floater suspension including anti dive front shockies...It is water cooled.....It has 4 carbies which are trouble free ... It is completely oil tight and sounds great ....I have owned several Suzuki bikes which have all been good investments.... and as I am 85, I have owned very many bikes of all types and have found the Japanese bikes to be very reliable and always good value for money ....
My close friend owns an independent Harley repair company. He told me when I bought my V Star that he’d never see it in his shop and that I could only break it if I tried, lol! Currently have a Honda NSR250R, V-Star950 tourer, a Honda Rebel and a 2001 Honda CR250R. All are indestructible with basic maintenance. Thank goodness for Japanese motorcycles!
2020 Honda CB1100 RS in black here. Heavy, built like a tank, under stressed engine, smooth, comfortable, gorgeous to look at and will last a lifetime. Previous recent bikes - 2018 Kawasaki Z1000 SX, 2009 Suzuki Bandit 1250, both brilliant. 2004 Triumph Bonneville T100 - less than impressed with everything about it.
I own a Honda NC750S (naked version) for 10 years now, apart from standard maintenance and new tires no any issues. (like the 4 other Hondas I've had before). The only thing You have to do, is to insert the battery in spring. Harley, Triumph, KTM and even BMW is like a lottery - you can have good luck and a bike from those manufactures have the same reliability like a Japanese, with a "Monday-Bike" from one of these companies You will damn the day when You bought it.
Very strange to use a KX450 as an example of the "versatility" of the range of motorcycles on offer from the Japanese manufacturers when they literally can't be bothered with making 2 stroke dirtbikes (with the exception of Yamaha that still builds their straight out of the factory piece of antique YZ) or kids dirtbikes anymore. When it comes to dirtbikes you can't get any less versatile than the current offering from Japan. If you want your kid to start on a dirtbike you have to buy European. Furthermore it is insane to suggest the Japanese manufacturers are the only ones offering naked motorcycles (all the whilst showing sportbikes). And anyone who has the smallest bit of all-road experience knows that if you want a good Japanese adventure bike you buy a Super Ténéré, not a V-strom... Have you ever even ridden a European bike? Or any bike for that matter...?
it is due to their simple technology like it was standard until the 1980s - a simple air cooled 1cylinder with no overloaded electronics, steel wire clutch and gas Bowden. The major disadvantage is their lower engine power. I really like the traditional design especially of the HUNTR 350 but for longer travels with package on European interstates You will not be very happy with a RE.
i have a bunch of video about japanese brand like honda that suffers engine damage on low milleage. Japanese bike better? it is if video does not exist wahahaha. heres the video. th-cam.com/video/YQ0kPTtT1a8/w-d-xo.html

THE BEST MOTORCYCLE ON THE MARKET IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO OWN
Never heard of a better line than this

They're great because their steel is so soft, when you bend a part, you can straighten it out by hand.

Japanese bike made is the best.
The only Honda I own is a V65 Magna. Some of us don't buy motorcycles to be practical.
I have one Honda Beautiful what Dreams are made of 🥰👍
When did a CB1100 become an adventure bike? Not a great start to this video.
Mid size?

they are reliable, but the Royal Enfield is becoming unmatched in it's durability and longevity.

@@DasLamm68 They have a new 650 cruiser style that is beautiful, I almost bought it on impulse...lol
This is a Honda 1100... a middle sized bike... super LOL.
If you like cookie cutter bikes theyre great…I guess
this is not a mid range adventure bike , which just shows you dont know what your talking about
La vida es muy corta para motos aburridas
The video is boring enough just Talk About the Honda CB 1100 don’t include other ones
The CB1100 is the last air cooled 4 cylinder engine, which reminds older bikers of the good old times before the air cooled 4-cylinders were dying.
1978 SR500 2J2
