0:34 I've never heard that unofficial slogan from the Great Depression before. It definitely is relevant right now.

We couldn't agree more! There was so much knowledge that came out of those dire times.

Yes I want to write down the GD slogan and memorize it! Awesome video with input from both sides❤️

Thank you Allison! Yes, it's such a good slogan to memorize! We use it often in our home as a reminder not to waste.

2:08 Can you name at least 1-2 discount grocery stores that you shop at? I do go to Wal-mart, but I try to also get things from other stores to help out smaller businesses. I'm sure just you doing a menu plan saves a you whole lot of money as well. I mainly get my groceries via a menu plan. The occasional times I don't is when I spend more money than I would've otherwise with a menu plan.

Hey First1000Hours. Yes, depending on the area, there are different ones. Since I know where you live, I'd recommend Cheapo Depo and Woops. Neither carry fresh produce, but you can find shelf stable food at both stores and can often find organic foods for very cheap.
The Grocery Outlet is a store we loved when we lived in the northwest, because they have fresh produce also.
When shopping at any grocery store, we like to go to the clearance food sections first to see if there are any good deals there.
      Blessings friend!
