"iPhone has the best camera" 😂 The only thing iPhones does better is speed and performance which doesn't even matter cause modern Android phones perform just as well in normal daily use.
And before you start with the iPhone 8 will have this and that arguement.. No, it doesn't and won't have anything that Android wouldn't have had for years already. This goes from OLED screen to small betzel desing. And don't get me started on fast charging and wireless charging lmao.

I have had my S8 now for almost a week and i love it :) being stuck on iOS for 4 years and only being able to get 16gb devices i wouldn't trade back :), It was wierd at first having no physical home button and i'm still getting used to the retina scan lock but overall i am happy with it, gonna take some pictures with it later aswell when i find some time

I mean really you're going to drain battery very quick on each phone you choose. I'm surprised that your iPhone is draining so quickly they're usually smoother on games then Android. Me owning a galaxy s8 not a + I get a decent amount of gaming. Battery life is pretty good I'd say as far as just watching videos Netflix movies TH-cam have you be it. I was at 54% an hour ago and I'm at 42% after watching videos and social media. You really can't base this to the note 8 or s8+ because they are bigger and will drain faster even though the s8+ has the same processor but bigger screen same battery size as well. So I feel comfortable with the s8 now that I'm use to it I'm thinking about getting a note 8 or just trading in for a s8+ for a better size experience I watch alot of movies I work in sales so alot of down time and I don't want a tablet
If you have big hands like me the Note 8 is better because it's always nicer to have a bigger screen.

I'm a note user. Always have and always will be. The S8/S8+ just doesn't appeal to me. When they took my Note 7 back, I went back to my Note 5 so today is pre-order for us in Australia, but this will be the 1st time that I will be waiting for a couple of weeks before buying. The whole Note 7 recall in AU really left a bad taste in my mouth and I really don't want to go through that again. But I will 💯 buy it 😊

UCCHAS SAHA I've had my S8+ for probably a week now and I honestly love it, I upgraded from the s6 edge. Performance wise, it does everything I need it to do just like my old phone but better. My only problem I have is my autocorrect on my phone, since the last update or 2, it has been worst, but that a tiny problem. The fingerprint scanner, I thought where they put it was a stupid idea also. I'd say i have small hands for a male, but I have no problem at all reaching the fingerprint. I've noticed whenever the TH-cam's say it hard to reach, they're trying to reach it from all the way at the bottom of the phone.
thanks for the info man, I have been using note 3 for past 3.5 years and I just have bought a S8+ today which is yet to arrive. I didn't think it would be wise to buy note 8 which would cost more than s8+ and the truth is I haven't used stylus in note 3 that much in these nearly 4 years. And I also think S8+ also has a great camera in manual mode, right?

I was planning on getting the N7 before the recall. I use the spen alot, so thé s8+ would not be ideal, but with the N8's pricing, I might have to take a plunge. The S8+ price has dropped significantly now and with MWC 6 months away and the yearly black friday deals, I might wait it out.
Currently on an s6, would it be wise to update to the note?
Or wait and see how the Pixel 2 fairs?
I have the S8+. But this Note 8 is tempting! It's even bigger! More screen! I always got the Note ones in previous models of this range. But when I got the S8+, it was because I couldn't wait that long for the Note and I thought the S8+ would be bigger. But it is the same as S8, just a bit taller.

Coming from a note 3 I can not wait to receive my note 8!! The multi window feature is one the note 3 has which the future versions lost. Glad to see note 8 looks like a upgrade of a lot of the standard features from note 3.

The S pen features are tempting, but I would have to stick with the smaller Galaxy S8. Bottom line: I need my phone to fit in my pocket.

IDK... N8 looks more like a higher-priced S8+ with 6 GB of RAM, dual cameras, a larger display, and an S-Pen... From some of the other first impression reviewers, it seems to be just that from a functional point-of-view as well... Time will tell if that's all it really is!

Crazcompart its a much better version of the s8. Love live messeges live photos and s pen and notes on always on display . I can write on the big screen its great for those who want samsungs best camera and features.

The battery kept lower just not to make the device too heavy. Most of the weight of any phone is the battery. Too heavy phones are not comfortable.

Chen Yunyun While I don't have the Note 8 yet, my 6s plus is similar in size and I can easily reach the top of the phone where the fingerprint scanner would be. I always use my left hand though so I think your correct Chen.

My note 5 got so small. Been waiting to see what the note 8 will be all about before an upgrade and yes samsung, I've been dreaming about this note 8. This is everything I want in a phone. I'm waiting on the price to go down first tho before I upgrade.
Davion Huell if you're on sprint I went in today with my note 5 asking about the note 8 as I have an upgrade on the 1st of september. I asked if I could hold the upgrade after my lease is up to get the note 8 and they said I could and when I asked about pricing the good fella told me if you switch your phone number you get half off so my plan would stay exactly the same.

The Note 4 is still my favorite note. It has a interchangeable battery and not a stupid glass back. Really why would you use glass on a phone other then the screen. I can't get over it. It's such a dumb idea. And of course it was Apple's idea first.

I've been using Note 8 for few months now. It's way too big to me, wears off my jeans in the pockets where I keep it and it's just so uncomfortable (and I have big hand!). Other than that, it's a great phone but I'm switching to normal s8.
Who else is watching ths on their s8? M happy with my s8 its much comfortable to hold than a note 8 with huge display. Phn should be compact in my opinion .If any1 wants a huge display to work he cn simply buy an ipad 😒

App pairing? I've seen a ton of reviews & I'm now certain that nobody uses Samsung's multi-window. Samsung started app pairing with the Note 4, and I mostly use it to start app combinations when driving (messaging/navigation & music/navigation combos) for convenience. To me, to have everyone call this 'new' after 3 years means that nobody uses it...

to give up our Note 7's, I ask if they were going to let us upgrade
early to the Note 8. The answer that was given was NO! you have to
finish out your contract. So no Note 8 for an awful lot of people who
love the Note line, It's a shame their not making any allowance for us.
We had to give up our Note 7, now we have to wait for probably the Note 9

Franco Palomares actually, i was a little scared switching to the s8 on screen home button, but it was an extremely easy switch. It didnt feel uncomfortable at all. Also, the fingerprint scanner didnt bother me, as when i picked up my phone, my index finger was usually near or already on the fingerprint sensor. I also never smudged the camera accidentally since i got the phone 4 months ago. I am saying this from an s8 standpoint, i dont know about the s8+ and note lineup, but i assume they are the same.
I use my phone a lot to watch baseball and movies or youtube. I also like to read books or articles so Note 8 and its bigger screen will work for me. My phone now is the Note 4 and I love it. Time for a upgrade!

One of the things that confused me is that they put a 3,300 mAh battery to "play safe" which I understand but they said that they had figured out the problem, even made a whole press conference on it. So why not go with a beefy 4,000 mAh ? hopefully some better RAM management could improve battery life.

IMO S8 remains the best VFM choice with best size and all the features. Camera is still great with single lens and you can still use cpcttv stylus on S8 to do the basic writing albeit with less accuracy
