You guys should do a series like “Sheriffs: El dorado county” (you can find it for free on TH-cam, it is a series) where you ride along with officers during shifts. I am currently interested in applying and this would help many people like me to get some insight of day to day activities
Hey I don’t know if you will see this but it would be really cool if you could do a ride along with a Lifeguard Peace Officer. I am not sure if you have these guys at one of the lakes but I think it would be really cool to see what they do because it is such a unique job within the California State Parks system.
During training, Cadets are full time employees and earn a salary range of $4,077 to $5,499. After fully becoming a Ranger, base pay scale is between $5,347 and $8,460 with multiple opportunities to rank up within the department. You can learn more at joincsp.parks.ca.gov/
