Just found your channel and you seem to know a lot about nitro engines! I have a question about them, why aren’t the built more Solid? Like i have seen a bunch of videos where con rods actually blow apart and other catastrophic failures on these small engines, and in don’t understand why they are built more solid so they last longer!
Some of it is user error from runs so lean and starving them for fuel that will kick the rods or in case of the Traxxas engines like the 3.3 is their made to fail so you have to keep spending more. But you change out the rod pin a bearings in them they last a lot longer if you take care of your engines tune properly and run a quality fuel most engines can run into the 20 gallon area
@@einhundertfunfzig4919 Most engine manufacturers build him to their best tolerances they have to be otherwise they won't run or the fall apart like a said most of it is user air people that don't know what their doing is why things get blown up or screwed up for you have Traxxas which designs their stuff to be as weak as possible so that you the customer have to keep spending more money that's pretty much the best waken really explain it to you

Hey great video! Have you ever tried camp stove fuel? Naphtha gas?
Won't work unfortunately no catalytic reaction
Idk it this is accurate, but I’ve read that adding 5% acetone gives a little more rip and a broader tuning window. I’ve never tried it.
I tried it and didn't notice anything To be honest

Can I mix ethanol or denatured alcohol for the fuel will it work
Apparently denatured alcohol will work i haven't tried it before
What about klotz super techniplate? 20 percent castor and 80 percent synthetic
One of the best i think I mentioned it i just don't have any on hand
@@thebug4046 you did mention it. I literally heard you say it as i read buddies comment
Did I miss the mix ratio for 1 qt..would it be 3oz klotz?
1qt methanol 4oz oil

Im in canada (ontario) and cant find castor oil anywhere
same here :(
should we just resort to 2 stroke oil? I remember he said it doesn't work..
Order it on eBay or Amazon for klotz it's not cheap but it's what you need! Or go to a motocross shop and ask for maxima 927 oil
Normal 2 stroke oil doesn't work
Lol it's even vegan that was a good one 🤣 fucking vegans ehh. But this is a very great info vid. Thanks man
Hey man vegans have to burn Nitro too!!! Lol
