I'm sooooo badly missing this game! I play at school many times but I have little error... The necklace is not all scenes load. Interesting game! Is sad - full walkthrough - nobody don't play :(((
I really enjoyed playing the game, primarily because you were visiting real places and locations in San Francisco, and I actually felt like I was there. The watercoloring of the scenes was a nice touch and I didn't find the puzzles overly difficult compared to some games that I've played. If I remember correctly, there was a game booklet that accompanied the game, which I believe contained backstory for the game which provided hints and clues for the puzzles.
Thank you for posting this, looks a lot like other "photo slideshow" games like Anacapri and Carol Reed. The question is what treasure are you hunting, and are there other characters to interact with?
Hi Adventure GameGeek. You are absolutely right "Golden Gate" looks very similar to the games you mentioned. The speech is always of an antique treasure? Unfortunately, I do not know if there are other characters to interact with. Nobody met me except the guy at the beginning. If you want, you are welcome to browse my playlists. There are still some adventure from the first person here. I also think that one or the other "photo slideshow" game is included. For example, Ankh from 1995 comes to mind that would have to go in the direction? Noir - A Shadowy Thriller 1996 maybe? The playlists between 93 and 96 are still confused and there are still a few videos in German. I will change that over time.
@@FPS.Games.Archiv Well I really appreciate you covering so many adventure games on here :) Just got Golden Gate myself so guess I'll find out what the rest of the game is like and maybe do a review of it!
Now I am very happy to hear that you are making the journey to find out which ancient treasure it is. I wish you a lot of success and will take a look at your review if you do one. 😉✌
One of my favorite game soundtracks ❤️🔥
I remember buying this when I had the 3DO! Amazing game and just beautiful San Francisco! Love it!

Also I love music! Some soundtrack still on my PC. But I can't play by myself... Many times download... But game is not working.
Create an Windows 98 virtual machine with VirtualBox, install this game and play with fun.
