  • DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST: Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel. I finally created this video which was highly requested. I loved creating this video and getting to share my love of Ultrasound with you guys! My current job working at an ER is a lot different than my previous job working at a hospital. I am strictly on call now and just go in when needed, which I love. I would be glad to answer any questions you guys have in the comments down below. I always love spreading ultrasound awareness! Don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel if you guys haven't yet and if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up. Thank you guys so much for watching!

Hey, great video, I am in Radiology Technology, and one thing I would add to your day is changing your scrub as soon as you finish your shift before getting inside your car and definitely not sitting on your couch with it, hospitals and clinics are full of sickness that you don't want in your home, I use to do that and regrated very much so, after bringing some viruses to my family and myself as I didn't use mask inside my car or in my home : ) anyways, great info on ultrasound, my friend is applying for the course and we were watching it together... thanks for sharing it.

Do you only do on-call? Do you get a certain pay being on-call and get a different pay when you punch in? I am considering this field and wondering if the pay would be enough to live comfortably.

    • @marahsnoubar

@@momay2670 that’s not what she said. She said dual enrolled classes. Take BIO168&169 (if that isn’t offered at your community college take 163), take conceptual physics, eng 111, and and math 121 or 171 preferably. You can look into any curriculum sheet on a community colleges website and the programs I’ve seen most have 4 prerequisite classes. It’s not a bachelor degree and it’s an associates. If you are not able to do dual enrollment I would advise take biology, anatomy and physiology, and health science classes.
