It's interesting how some cats can see what's happening on screens, and some can't. I remember Billi saying she missed her Dad while he was away, so Kendra tried to show her a video of Dad, but she didn't seem to understand what was on the screen.
My cat will watch TV screens and is very interested when he sees animals on screen, but completely ignores my cellphone when I try to show him anything on it
I used to think my cat was one of those who didn't have interest in screens. He'd react when he heard the sound of birds or cats from videos on my phone, but always look *behind* the phone when I tried to show him. 😅 He acted like he couldn't see it. Then I decided to experiment. After turning the brightness all the way up to max and setting the phone further back, at least a foot, *then* he finally reacted and could see it. He also now reacts to TV screens, but only if there's a bird or a cat on the screen.
@@heatherbryant4197 I've been curious if one of the existing accessibility settings on the phone would work better to accommodate cats' vision, or if someone will create one that does.
DAD silly, Todd smart! I have found that not every cat can see a tv screen properly. I had one cat that was entranced by a nature show that used a mobile camera disguised as a rock to film lions. She loved that. She would leave during commercials and come back and stare when the lions were on screen.
I noticed Todd’s acquired skills weeks ago. When you taught to use the buttons you opened a whole level of intelligence. While the other kittens remain at there primal state. Can you imagine when all pets learn to reason. Todd is a pioneer.
All we know is that the other cats do not use the buttons the way Todd does. It’s possible they have sophisticated mental processes but simply aren’t as interested in communication with humans. Todd is special because he is essentially learning a foreign language to connect with his human companion. Most cats are able to understand human vocal cues, but respond only when they want to, with body language or meows (sort of how we might attempt to communicate with a Deaf person with simple miming gestures). I really believe a lot of cats get annoyed when humans rush around, ignore cat etiquette, don’t pay attention to subtle cat “language” and generally act like cats are objects rather than individuals. It’s reasonable to assume most cats see no point in trying to communicate with boorish, impatient and unpredictable humans, and end up interacting only for food and cuddles.
Have you seen Billi? She was actually the first button-talking cat pioneer and was the inspiration for Todd's owner. She was amazing. Todd is so smart.
My household regularly watches the Mejoo and Cats channel and whenever Audrey goes frog hunting on a video, my boys want to join in.
@@heatherbryant4197 I've been curious if one of the existing accessibility settings on the phone would work better to accommodate cats' vision, or if someone will create one that does.
Sending love and pets to all.
DAD silly, Todd smart! I have found that not every cat can see a tv screen properly. I had one cat that was entranced by a nature show that used a mobile camera disguised as a rock to film lions. She loved that. She would leave during commercials and come back and stare when the lions were on screen.
He is adorable and very smart. My cat stares at the TV when your video is on.
OMGosh! He is an amazing boy! Love him. 💙
That stretch is Todd's version of the 'Dip In' , he hit that stretch, things are about to get real!
🤣😆 He is an incredible creature-observant, curious, intelligent. It never ceases to amaze me how intelligent yet underestimated animals are.
Definitely think you couldn't have read into this one since it was clear Todd had processed what he saw.
Todd is an amazingly smart baby!
Caught you Dad!😂. Super smart kitty. He understands everything.
😁
Seemed to me he was happy onse he knew Paulie was happy
what a fascinating question from Todd! he's such a contemplative kitty
Todd is an amazing and phenomenal feline.
She died this year, but there are several years of interesting videos. Channel name is BilliSpeaks. There are a bunch of dogs too. Bunny the sheepadoodle is pretty advanced... channel name WhatAboutBunny?
I love to watch the interaction between you and all the cats. Just received my 2025 calendar, I love it. Keep up the beautiful videos.
I'm so glad you like it! Thank you!
Todd really is incredibly clever. 😀❤
Absolutely amazing, I can't stop smiling
Todd is smarter than some humans I know. 🤪 He should run for a political office…but he’s too smart for that!😂
He's so smart!
Just as long as he gets a little extra Dad time and knows he is still your special boy he should be fine sharing you. 😉❤️❤️🎂
AMAZING! Todd needs to be studied at the SMART KITTY INSTITUTE! No kidding…phenomenal discovery!!
Aww. Todd just wants to make sure there are pets for Todd, too. 😊 And I love it when he makes sentences.
Such a wonderful kitty
Todd loves those pets. Such a cutie
Your such a loving daddy, god bless you
Just abit of jealousy,I’m glad you reassured him.
Todd is thinking…where was I when all this was taking place?😂. I wonder if that medication Todd is taking is stimulating his brain to think with words? Interesting thought.
Todd is just amazing cat! saw paulie on the computer being pet, now he wants to be pet too.
he is able to determine events in the past with Paulie now in present wants pets with daddy!
Todd is a very special boy! 😻
It is amazing that he said "what" rather than "want."
Pretty boy is a little jelly that daddy is giving his pets away 🥰. He is so super smart. My mom and I are always eager for you to upload new videos. We love all three of your babies.
That brain of his was working hard looking at the buttons. He wanted pets also. 😂❤ I thought Todd said, "WANT" pets.
