I was looking at a dash cam for my truck (not an 18-wheeler, just a RAM 1500), and the one I decided on was the BlackVue DR970X-2CH, where the front camera is 4K and the rear camera is 1080P HD. You can just get the 1 CH front camera for your Freightliner, or get the 2CH with the interior camera. You can also get the battery to attach to it (battery charges while driving, engages for parking mode when truck is off), with the LTE adapter for constant data connection (you have the 5G Modem/Router so you would be fine). There is a small monthly charge to automatically store your footage to the cloud.
I was so glad to see this video because it was your maiden voyage and your new truck. I was just very disappointed to see you good scratched up by a driver who is not paying attention. Just because it’s an empty space to your right at one moment, does not mean you should stop looking in that direction in case there’s another vehicle that pulled in. I was saying to you a video when you talked about your CB radio. You said exactly what I was thinking about an auxiliary speaker. Be safe out there and enjoy your new truck.
Agree with everything you said! I never ASSUME a space is empty when I’m pulling out of a parking space (always check your surroundings) just to be safe! 🙌💯

That driver should have checked his mirrors rex did nothing wrong he wasnt in a blind spot if the idiot would have checked his mirrors he would have seen him no problem
The door seals being new is an accurate statement, I used to drive a Kenworth T270, for a local towing company. Kenworth trucks in particular stay air tight now obviously I know you drive a freight liner now lol, just give it time it’ll break in

I had a seatbelt replacement on my 2019 thanks to my puppy when he was younger. I have that same squeaking sound, it’s coming from the seatbelt track at the top there’s a little silver roller I think that’s where it’s coming from; I’ve noticed mine does it when I’m sitting more forward rather than my back against the drivers seat. At the 7 min 45 min mark looking at your seatbelt, that yellow clip thing at the top is where that roller thing is.
Could they have put a crappier looking rim on that trailer…was gonna say wipe those trailer rims down and rig would look insane…squeaky noise might be fan clutch kicking in ????
I’ll add that to my next video, it’s very simple.. you just set the microwave inside the cubbyhole and there is a built in strap you wrap it around and pull it tight and it snaps in place to lock 🙌😁
I’m not purchasing, mine is a standard walk away lease. Prime uses a company called (stripes and stuff) I sent them my logo… They charged me $220 and placed it on my truck prior to me picking up my truck. Hope this helps!
Truck is just a standard walk away lease, didn’t have 14K laying around for down payment but if I did… truck could be paid off in 3 or 4yrs, hope this helps ya! 👍

I’m a lease operator, after getting my CDL through prime (I had zero prior experience) I jumped straight to leasing. I didn’t want to go company for multiple reasons 🤙💯

Standard walk away lease, as a lease operator yes you can accept or deny loads
