    2:32 So the Rhino will work 'out of the box' with Virpil & Thrustmaster grips, VPforce has adapters for VKB (passthrough to VKB Blackbox) & Winwing. The emergency stop also works for simply turning the power off to the base. The gear covers are a nice finish but not really needed for safety as the gears don't rotate far. I seriously think this is one of the best upgrades you can get for flight sims especially if you fly helicopters having actual force trim is a total game changer. I have S/N#25 & it's been going strong with some pretty heavy use too, this isn't like the over priced under performing Brunner, this is 9nm & has enough torque to snatch the grip out of you hand in a crash ask me how I know, the Rhino has the fans for active cooling so unlike the Brunner it won't cut out effects after 30 seconds of use, if it ever did manage to get "too hot" the Rhino will simply throttle back on it's power level until cooled, but as I said it has the fans & in all the time I've used mine including dogfights in IL2 & DCS I'm not sure I've even had the fans need to kick in. The software is where the Rhino really shines, the config app lets you save different profiles that can make the base feel completely different & the telemFFB app that works with DCS, IL2, MSFS & others will read the sims telemetry & produce effects based on what the aircraft is doing in sim. Definitely come back to watch LVR&S review on the Rhino!

      Thanks so much for subscribing. Number #25, WOW mate that is amazing :) you are one of the very first early adopters. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and knowledge on the product. I have to agree 100% on the strength of the feedback and the software and cooing solution. Walmis has thought of everything and the Rhino is in another league. The dust covers are most certainly not needed, I just cant help myself, any excuse to print something as a mod and I am all over it hahaha and, the emergency stop button is perfect as the on off switch, I could not agree more. Full review should be out in week or so.

      @@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Good to see more simmers enjoying the Rhino & the more exposure it gets on youtube the better! Are you going to check out FFB rudders ie. the MFG rudder kit? My only problems with the Rhino are now I want FFB rudders & yoke too! Also once you have the Winwing & VKB adapters it's so easy to change grips per aircraft they become like Pokémon!

      @@PiNKMuDSimGaming Not sure if I will, the issue I have is my rig is setup for multiple styles, racing and flight. I currently have two throttle peddles acting as rudder. This setup actually works really well plus, I do not really use the clutch so I am not missing out on that aspect. Hmmmmm. wonder If I could make the motors work on my throttle peddles hahaha.

      @@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs Do you think Rs Mega is also good for flight sim?

      @taiyo5181 yes mate 100%, the main benefit is the longer travel, the RSMega has 150mm so you really feel pitch, roll and heave. In the coming weeks you should get a good idea from my next video on the Rhino in flight 😊

    • @LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs
      @LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Ensonic13 mate it's actually pretty quick considering. Lots of people drop off the waiting list while you wait. My best advice is put your name on the wait list, jump on the Discord and you can monitor you place in the queue. Originally I was about 12month, then it kept dropping, and I received it in around 7months.

      @@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs I’ve waited 84 years. 🥴 Well, maybe not that long, 😁 but it has been decades waiting for FFB in flight sims like so many others I’m sure, and as good as the Virpil’s that I have now are, I’m fed up with being so disconnected to what’s going on in the sims.

    Will it work with helicopter cyclic control properly as well? As you know helicopter cyclic control is different to fixed wing controls.

      I'm certain it does, I will ask your question though on the Discord group for the Rhino just to make sure. I'm not set up with a cyclic just yet. I'll report back on here shortly.

      Cyclic = Control Stick. Yes, for X-Plane and MSFS, the TelemFFB app supports basic cyclic force trim as part of its FFB implementation (neither X-Plane or MSFS have native FFB, it is wholly implemented by TelemFFB).

      100% agreed. You can have proper force trim (- release) and everything. FFB for helicopters is an absolute game changer.
      complemented with FFB pedals it's even better 😇

      Rhino and its TelemFFB software is perfect for helicopters. I would't touch a helisim (MSFS, DCS, XP12) without it any more. Or the Heatblur F-4E for that matter, I don't know how people can fly that sled in combat with a sprung stick.

    Great first video, thanks. How do you find it so far, in MSFS? Which aircraft have you used? How is it with turbulence? I may get one soon, as I just got the 'it's your turn' email.

    • @LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs
      @LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks so much mate :) I have no words... Well, actually, I have lots to say. Man, I am going to keep it short and to the point as I have so much to say. I think I will be able to get most of what I want to say across in my upcoming video better. I am going to film all sorts of angles to demonstrate what's actually going on. IT IS MIND-BLOWING. Ok, so I am flying in the Kitfox FS2020, sitting in the parking with a cold aircraft and dead stick is such a cool feeling. Fire her up, start to taxi, and the stick starts to come to life, engine vibration, flaps actuating, it's amazing. On takeoff is when the real magic happens, the stick is alive... I actually need to remaster my takeoffs and landings now; the stick has created such a sense of feedback, I am actually connected to the aircraft. turbulance is already pretty amzing in ther motion sim and now this stick, its the icing on the cake. I am also feeling the exact same forces in the stick as the motion rig....its just crazy. And here is when it really gets insane. I put the Kitfox into a stall, nose high, throttle off and hold it for as long as I can... and boom... I am now not only in a full-motion simulator but I have a completely limp, dead stick, and I am spiraling back to earth with the sim rig violently thrashing me around, totally unable to recover with the stick like I would before. Of course, the stick used to be spring-loaded and self-centering. Let's face it, almost all standard flight gimbals are. That alone will most often sort out the stall. In real life, you lose all control on the stick in the stall. That is exactly what happens with the Rhino... simply amazing. I was so shocked at the time I forgot the old trick of full rudder. Man, I was actually feeling sick in VR for a moment there hahahaha. I am going to capture this on film and put it in my upcoming video. Was simply... amazing.

      @@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs that sounds amazing! I’m glad it’s living up to your expectations, and that it works well with MSFS, the sim I use almost entirely. I have a Brunner yoke and a motion platform, but I don’t use both together (I don’t rate the platform’s movement much for flight sims, so it’s now a dedicated racing sim platform). Is the software easy to set up? Did you customise it much? I’ve placed my order so should have it next week :D

      @@colourwheel20 Honestly mate that is what sets the Rhino apart, the software is amazing, you can actually download it now and take a look, the settings you can play with are mind blowing: vpforce.eu/usb/rhino/ That is a real shame with your motion platform, Have you considered the Eracing labs actuators? take a look at one of my other videos on my channel about them, they are amazing and, with 150mm of travel you really feel like you are flying. I have started making small tweaks but I have a mate coming over soon, cant say to much yet but flying is his life. He is going to help me tune some settings and I will release the profiles soon :) Software is very easy to use plus, get onto the Discord group if not already, lots of great content and assistance on there.
