On Tuesday night usa fights...im the first guy to take him into the 10th round....i never fought again...i went into the fight very confident that i would win as i had fought better opposition than he had at that time...i had lost before ..but that night i got beat up...suffered a broke eye socket...saw double from the end of round 1....i knew he was good . history showed he was a true gladiator! It was an honor to trade punches with such a great fighter!

Man! Paulie, Arturo Gatti the ultimate competitor that took it to the extreme in every fight. It's really sad what happened to him. I met Arturo once while I was working at a Pizzeria on Delancey street. I remember sitting at my computer desk that morning and reading the article. Famous fighter Gatti found dead in Brazil Hotel. My first thought was, that no this can't be true and that maybe there was another fighter named Gatti that I never heard of. But unfortunately it's not what happened. Before Arturo my favorite was Vinnie The Pazmanian Devil Pazienza.
