Mickey Ward is my favorite boxer of all time. World class level. He just embodies everything that matters to me. Character, courage, never quits comes in shape and had that ATG body shot. Just a great boxer and man.
The younger one has always been a stepping stone though really, for most of his career. The only reason anyone knows who he is now is because of McGregor. Nick however was a legit top 10 guy for a while, he had the skills to go with the gangster gimick. Whereas Nate's always been a bit of a journeyman.
Micky was so good about moving on after a loss and letting it go cause he knew he did everything he cld do in training to win the fight so it’s easy for him to accept it. Some of the guys now when they lose they have to deal with all the online thing’s and if they know they didn’t train like they cld have it will stick with them longer after a loss

Ward vs Gatti is my favorite boxing trilogy, ever. Wars. I do have to say, all those crazy wars Micky got in seem to have taken their toll. You can tell by his sentence structure and his train of thought. Glad he's not as bad as some of the other boxers from that era.
Excited for this, local from my area!! The movie the fighter, when he got arrested they showed a beat up Ford Crown Victoria in the movie, that was a car i owned and they paid me to let them use it in the movie, they used it for that scene and they used it for traffic around the parents house, they drove it around the block for hours. I dont think it actually made it in the vid on that scene. They dont tell you if it got in or not but they still pay you.
