Let me tell you....i can't wait to get my hands on this. I've gone through a couple of these retro consoles, and this looks to be the real deal. Getting to play games like dynamite cop, all the street fighters, tokyo extreme racer, and the list goes on, i need this without a DOUBT!!! reliving my childhood in this fashion will be surreal!!
Been playing video games since BEFORE they were retro. 60 years old and I get lost in the memories this console brings back. Such a great system, it's like my fountain of youth

I have the xpro 2 older version and the handheld s series pro 2. The videos and customer serice was always available and helpful from start. Now with the new 2024 version I own the better just keeps getting better. So many games to choose, smooth interface, organised menus, better performance. Not sure how they improved on an already great product but they did. Anyone looking for a great producr that is worth the money. Do not even hesitate! 1000 out of 10!
As an old school gamer I love these creations. I would like to have one because theres so much on those old consoles that I never got to play. There for whats old to some will still be brand new to me, and I most definitey would make the most of my time with it.

I have the X Pro 2 and it’s unbelievable! It takes me back to being a kid in the arcade but now I don’t need quarters. For people on the fence ORDER IT! You will not regret it. I’d like another one because I should have ordered the 512gb instead of the 128 gb.

I am flabbergasted, amazed, astonished, shocked, and so many other synonyms with this product. Honestly, it's brought me several evenings of joy and I've barely scratched the surface. I thought my younger self's gaming skills would come back like muscle memory, but the reality hit me that I have a lot of relearning to do. But, what a product to be retrained on!
I recently purchased the xpro 2. I watched many videos on andriod and rasberry systems. I can say that the high marks the xpro 2 gets is definitely accurate. Thank you again guys!
The controllers are a huge improvement. I’ve had the Xpro 2 for about 2 months now . I’d say it’s great through and through . Retrokat have really stepped up big time . I love the new controllers turbo feature the most . The silky smooth triggers and thumbsticks are a huge upgrade . I highly recommend you buy this one and you won’t look back .

Can you explain the Turbo feature and how do you turn it on?
I have mine and love it. I recommend to anyone who purchases that they take the time to both read and watch instructions. There is a lot to take in. Most systems run flawlessly. A few N, 64 and Dreamcast issues but aside from that, top notch!

I’ve owned the X Pro ll as well as several handhelds and other products from this company for some time now. Not only are the products great quality, the customer service is excellent. I’m convinced this is the best plug and play out there. I’m a very happy customer.
Such an amazing console. It brings back a lot of memories and you don't have to worry about pulling out all the older consoles to enjoy games from the past
It's time to write this.
Let me start by saying I bought 3 different consoles (all front different providers) but this is the best of all. My wife and I enjoy it when we play together; specially my wife when she wants her "me time " this is perfect excuse to be like a zombie in front of my tv playing with my X PRO II for hours and remembering my childhood exactly as I remember. On top that, customer service is EXCELLENT; long story short : I had and issue with my 64 controller and after a few instructions via email back and forth , this issue wasn't fix, but the Head technician took the liberty to call me on a weekend ( if I'm not mistaken, it was a holiday ) to walk me through and this issue was fix. I was surprised how efficient these guys are. If someday I have the money to invest with these guys I would totally do it. I hope this company grows because they are doing an EXCELLENT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, if someone if planning to buy one of this, I will highly recommend to buy the Ultimate plus bundle so you can have the whole experience. Trust me!!

With all of the other junk out there similar to this, the X Pro II is the only console I’ve seen that looks like it would be actually worth having. Would love to grab one for myself in the future. The review of it looks pretty damn good and I just say, their customer support is top notch, extremely responsive.
Things worth every cent,got mines a few weeks ago and since then so many memories coming flooding in. I hook up my ps controller and bam perfection. They did an amazing job and have even better customer service. I asked them a million questions and they always responded quickly and politely. Thank you guys for everything, do yourself a favor and get one of these.

I would like to have one in memory of my late grandpa. Video games are our bond aside from sports. Video games helps me to forget the stress of life for a couple hours.
This is a cool option! I like that its built in North America and all the comments from RGG and others rave about the customer service, which is a huge plus. If you’re a retro gaming fan, this seems like a great option. I want one!
I was introduced to video games very early. But it wasn’t until I got my first Nintendo that I fell in love with gaming. To be able to relive some childhood memories is awesome! Would be great to get one of theses. They look solid!

I've had mine for a while. Some issues i ran into was playing certain games you had to charge the settings to play the game. Other than that it's been fun playing some dreamcast games like Tech Romancer.
When he was playing Dreamcast it look super choppy and terrible. If it can’t even run Dreamcast games at full speed that’s pretty bad
Received the X Pro II - Standard for my birthday and it is indeed quite amazing. Enjoying the new controllers (white & black as well. I delved into the Arcade section. Loving it!
Have been really impressed with the system so far. Some issues with performance on some of the more demanding games, but overall a good price for what you get. Definitely recommend.

Watched all the videos that you made about the device. In which i bought and now waiting to get mines and enjoy this once I get. The good thing it offers customer service and looks like its going to be the best device retro to enjoy just wait for anything that willl come from retrokat!
This X Pro 2 is what I was hoping the Ouya was going to be back in the day. The Ouya was fun if you learned how to add games yourself. This takes the learning curve out of doing that and lets you simply PLAY!
I love my gaming console and I would love another one for the living room just so that I don't have to disconnect and pull it every time I want to play we take It outside and use it on the projection screen while we're swimming in the pool or sitting around a bonfire it's an amazing console and I've been very very happy with it so I would love to win another one

I would like the x pro ii cause I grew up on most these games. Brings back good memories.
I have 2 of the X Pro 2s and one of the handheld consoles. The systems are absolutely amazing, and come packed with games and systems. The performance has been really good with all of them. The customer service is on another level of awesomeness. They are extremely quick to get back to you with any answers to your questions. They seem like they are consistently looking to improve everything and they really care about their customers and want you to have the best experience.
Whoever makes a quality, universal remote is going to make money.
I’ve always wanted a system like this but can’t seem to pull the trigger. Hopefully can win one.
This is the one to get. I just got one about a month ago, and I am VERY satisfied with the purchase. Worth every penny.

Great presentation when you turn it on. Awesome menu with gaming music for the background. Nice little history of each game from debut, publisher, story, etc on the side. A few duplicates I found so far (not talking about the version1 or version2 games) Controllers are reliable. Got the new controllers too and they function well. They put a lot of effort into making the gaming the best experience. I’d give it a (4 out of 5). If the N64 games emulation worked fine, I’d give it a perfect 5. I personally wished that had Crisis Core: FF and Jade Cocoon, instead of some of these duplicates. There are also Japanese imports that never made it over to the United States that you can play too. There are a lot of instructional/tutorial videos on the system too, so there is a chance to get them still.
This console looks legit. I would love to get my hands on this to relive my childhood memories.

So i was on the fence but so glad i got one. Amazing system. Not without minor issues but the pros greatly out weight the cons. Also the support on the back end is awesome and very quick turn around. Highly recommend the system. The games play great and has tons of options.

Look good I'm glad to see some one from my city. But I'm trying to find a killer instinct arcade 1 up or do you know if this play good
I got mine almost a month ago. The 128 gb, because it's less expensive and I'm primarily interested in home consoles from Atari 2600 to NES, and of course MAME arcade games.
However it has been fun trying out games and consoles I'd never experienced. I don't need more games from systems I'm only slightly interested in so the 128 gb version is fine for a (mostly) 80s gamer.
I'll admit there was a small learning curve from someone who mostly played Atari 2600 and used a joystick. I'd never used these types of controllers before. So I had to figure that out. I will say they are easy to use, but my big complaint is in playing classics like Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Berzerk, Joust and River Raid without a joystick. Gameplay just isn't the same for me and I don't get that nostalgic experience I was hoping for. The game play just isn't great on certain games that require quick, sharp movements like Berzerk or (most notably) Ms Pac Man and Pac Man. I tried all the different versions of Ms Pac Man across different consoles and, honestly, some were unplayable (to me) because I could not maneuver my character the correct way. But I did find a few versions that were acceptable, but I was hoping for more than acceptable.
So what I'm saying is that I wish Retrokat had an option to get a compatible joystick. Or maybe someone knows of one that will work I can get elsewhere? But then it needs to be able to navigate the menu. I'm not sure how that would work, but that's my biggest complaint.
I love that there are not a bunch of duplicates and the menu is set up great. Easy to use and I like the info it provides on the sytems and games.
My second criticism is all the computer games on this. I can't figure out how to play them, lol.
Other than that it's LOTS of fun! It takes me back to my Jr High and Highschool days. Hundreds of hours in my parent's basement playing Atari 2600 on an old black n white tv, or at my cousin's who had a fancy color tv and way more games, lol.
I know by today's standards these old games may seem cheesy and primitive, but to me it's a time machine back to more fun, better days.
JUST PLEASE COME OUT WITH A JOYSTICK FOR THIS!!!!
* I do recommend this over all other ones you can currently get. It's worth every penny.
I give it an 8.5 out of 10. A joystick would give it a 10.
I would love to have this console. I wish it was cheaper because I can't afford it, but I saw the list of games and almost all of the games I loved growing up are on there. It seems to play very well, which is more than I can say for the retro console I currently have.

Man I got a S10+ with 128G a 512G card and a gamesirG8 for half that.
Trust me it will run everything this does plus more I've got it running GameCube almost flawless and having amazing results with PS2
I would love to have the xpro 2 to play the video games I used to play as a kid. Alll of these other systems are missing one or multiple of the consoles that are included in the x pro.
Improved is definitely a true statement, resolution of the UI and games that I have played is excellent (crisp & clear / no graininess). Improved controllers gives a more tactical type game play and the game selection is vast.
Overall for the price this is well worth it (512GB), not including your buying from a reputable company which goes far beyond to address customer concerns. I'm satisfied and a good entertainment investment for years to come - RetroKat A++++.
I really enjoy your videos, they are very interesting, but I'd like to see more about PS1, PSP and the above games... PS2, Xbox, Nintendo WI, DS, Nintendo 64, could you please bring us some more of it?..

This is by far the best plug and play system. You get support and help and this isn't some cheap Chinese Emulation system.
I have the Expro 2 and love it and would love to have the Ultimate Plus Bundle.

Unfortunately, Gamecube is not included. Maybe a future build will have that as well as PS2. If they do add those in the future, I will GLADLY buy another one.

I have the previous one, and while I don't have too many complaints about it, the disappointing thing for me is the turbo settings on the Turbo Grafx 16 for the 2 buttons seem to not exist... And with the abundance of shooters on that console, it hurts. Switching the controls over to the 6 button control pad also causes the controller to wig out and move up and yo the left automatically. Unless I'm missing something, it definitely was disappointing. I wonder if this version addressed this issue?
The new version controllers have turbo functionality built in!! While this may have been a software limitation it's now handled purely by hardware so it shouldn't wig out anymore!

Question- does this build have filters to help give it a more pixelated authentic look? I am Interested in buying, believe it or not I don’t like how old school games look on new TV’s/lcd’s, etc it’s too smoothed over and slightly blurry. This ability Is a big feature for me, I know other builds by other makers can and showcase it.

Those PS1 games MUST be PBP format to put 1,000+ on a 512G card. Right? If they were CHD, then 512G would be basically what you'd need for 1k ish ROMS.

The only issue is that some of my N64 remotes do not work with 64 games.But to be honest I freaking love this game system... And it's kind of fun to play Super smash brothers with 2 remotes that don't work because then I just kicked my brother's asses. 😂

You really need to tell us how much you can upscale these games. Just playing the game really doesn’t tell us anything. Is it powerful enough to upscale n64 games to 1080p and still keep a good frame rate? How bout Dreamcast? Did any of this have frame skip turned on? When you were playing Dreamcast it looked super choppy and terrible. For what this thing cost that is ridiculous that it’s can’t play Dreamcast smooth. You should keep the frame rate counter on the top right corner so we can see the FPS you are getting. It’s a setting you can turn on pretty easy. Stuff like that really helps us to understand how powerful or not these things are.
You don't need to tinker with any upscaling! For the majority of people just seeing the game play is more then enough :) If someone is hyper critical about the nuances of FPS then they will more then likely have the technical know-how to build their own exactly to spec.
@@retrokatgaming that’s not true. I have the know how but I’ve never used this particular box before so I need to know how high it can upscale so I know if I want to buy it or not. When he was playing Dreamcast, it was stuttering like crazy and for something that cost $180 that is unacceptable. I have a $99 emulation handheld that can run Dreamcast perfectly.
