You have no idea how much this video has meant for me, for over 30 years I’ve been trying to find out the name of a game I played all that time ago. I distinctly remembered one screen of it and thought it was called populous, which obviously confusingly so there was also an SNES game called populous! Actraiser being the game in question thank you stranger. Thank you. I have only one game from my youth that I distinctly remember to find the name of now.
Mmmm.. Always preferred Actraiser 2 myself. Same with the Mystical Ninja suggestion from the SNES bit at the beginning. I always much preferred Ganbare Goemon 2 which was the 2nd game in the series.
So I'm cooking breakfast for my kids and I only had so much time to watch but I watched up to the breath of fire 2 point and I got to say I really enjoyed this video I will be watching it as I go to bed sometime soon
This video popped on after some random background videos I had...but I had to stop like 20 times for this video. 1st off, you have an excellent narrating voice! 2nd that game list was absolutely solid from start to finish. Rock on man! Keep up the grind. I'm subscribed!
Lol just another way YT has overtaken TV. (Sleep Timers on TVs existed for similar seasons) Long form content is indeed trending cause people like us seem to like falling asleep to YT. These days people are making second and third channels (like AntSnooze or Nathaniel Sleepy) devoted just to reupload compilations for sleeping.
I subbed because you seem to be doing some of the things my channel's viewers are asking me to do, and your videos give me a lot of ideas. Thanks for the great content!
Oh boy! The good old NES or...Family Game as we use to call it here in Argentina 😂. Best Nintendo Console ever released! And Mighty Final Fight not just one of my favorite childhood games but also one of my favorite video games..ever!! Music, gameplay, nostalgia factor 10/10.
Actraiser and UN Squadron were two of my favorite games for the super Nintendo. The music in Actraiser, was amazing in stereo. The gameplay was awesome, also. Combining a SimCity mechanic with a side scrolling, Castlevania like action experience was mindbending at the time. I had so much fun with that game. UN squadron, I loved the arcade and when they brought it home, I was amazed at how much it looked and played like the arcade game. So many great times with both of them.
You can't really say anybody's opinion is wrong. I will say though I'm impressed. That you put the nes On your list considering that you didn't grow up with it. Most kids that didn't grow up with it. Don't appreciate it. So for the fact that you did I give you props for that
Its a damn shame that James Pond 2 for the genesis/mega drive are never found on any of these lists. I have so many amazing memories from that game, and I still play through it every christmas.
Been pushing photons around a screen since the days of Pong. I really don't have a favorite system. I owned them all. No more consoles for me, though. No point any more. The XBONEX and PS5 will be the first two major consoles not to have entered my household. Hell, I had a Switch for two weeks then sold it. Overrated P.O.S. So no more consoles for me. Having said that, I am happy many people manage to find enjoyment from the older games. I just got sick of them. So sick of them, as a matter of fact, I fell asleep three minutes into this. And that's why this is an effective video. It absolutely bored me straight to sleep. So I thank you. Videos that live up to their titles are gold. ZZZZZzzzzzzz
Can't stand you SNES bros LOL.. But seriously thanks, this is good for my Sega infested brain, like many, I used to trade my Genesis for my friend's SNES just to see what I been missing.
Still have a PS Vita sitting in a drawer with FF4/5/6/7/8/9/X/X-2 AND Resident Evils 1/2/3 installed on the card. So anyone else is free to call that one a failure. It's a massive win for me. Also had friends that owned the Wii U, the Atari Jaguar AND even the Philips CD-I. (Different friends I hasten to add. Not just one crazy dude who delights in buying garbage consoles.) I'd say the Wii U was just bad by comparison to the Wii. The Atari Jaguar was massively over-hyped and under delivered. We were laughing at the mate of ours who bought that one, for literally years. And he knew he deserved it too. My friend who bought the CD-I was just a rich guy who bought all the latest rubbish. He had a satellite dish the size of a garden shed in his back garden as far back as the late 1970's. To receive European TV channels when it wasn't even a thing. Looking out of his kitchen window it resembled Jodrell Bank in his garden. The thing even a remote control to move it from the comfort of the sofa.

45 minutes in and I’m looking this compilation a lot!
Very well done and highly entertining. I like the family friendly tone with the occational F bomb thrown in.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg, I haven’t thought about Goof Troop in years. That’s awesome.
This is just really nice, and I am quite thankful for it.
Love your content! The SNES is also my favorite system, thanks for archiving the artform.
I had Exodus on NES. I loved that game.
What the hell - How ya know I put these on when I go to sleep, haha. Must be more common than I thought.

Bayou Billy is actually a copy of Famicom game mad city. It's a lot easier on that one
This is great! Tank you for sharing such an extensive list on retro games!

Shit! UN Squadron is just a localized version of AREA 88!

Genesis not listed in your top ten? I didn't see that coming! Snes is my fav console but Genesis to me is close second.
Magic knight rayearth on snes is a great jrpg. The saturn action rpg version is awesome too.
15:00 the Japanese see a bunny instead of a man on the moon. They have legends about the moon bunny.
Realizing Pokémon Puzzle League is just a copy and paste Tetris attack and I’m in disbelief 😂
Awesome list. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
20:51 Pikachu ordered from Temu
Did you notice that there is no black in World of Illusion anywhere? :D
1:50:25 Oh I get it. Dragon slayer ---> Dragon's lair. Very punny.

1:47:30 Bhad Bhabie voice: "catch me outside!"

Fun fact after 20 years it's no longer retro but "vintage" 😎

The way he says the names of things sounds like AI.
Werf
I take it you are allergic to RPGs.... Thumbs down....Pardon but Dragon Quest V is a novel with applying a translation patch to.
Stole snes drunk thumbnail
So ai is doing the whole videos now, huh? Ok, I guess.
