Fallout 2 and fallout NV are perfect western RPGs. I don’t think any other game in that genre will ever eclipse them. Planescspe Torment does come close though.
Personally the first fallout is the most well made but has so little actual content for the other two. The second game is almost done without flaw but the atmosphere is butchered compared to the first game by trying to add more comedic elements to the game which admittedly are funny but ruin the atmosphere. New vegas has the flaw of feeling incomplete in many aspects with vegas itself feeling small, areas like camp guardian feeling incomplete, among many other problems mainly due to the short development time. All three are great games with a couple things holding them back personally I would say the first is the best
I'm replaying this masterpiece. This is a perfect summary of what makes New Vegas so good. I went back to 3 and, while I enjoy it, it feels so empty in comparison. I'm also doing my first ever playthrough of Fallout 1. Learning curve was steep, and the timer was overwhelming, but I'm starting to make progress. I dig the art style and it's cool to see where this series started. Another professional video from you with lots of depth. I hope you see the growth you deserve.

I totally understand your stance on 3, it has its moments but I generally prefer the style of the games set in the west coast. 1 is one of those games that, once you get used to, is very easy and fun to get back into to try out new playstyles and challenge runs. You should definitely try 2 as well at some point if you haven't.
I have never vibed so hard with a character as I have with Joshua Graham. Granted, I’ve never murdered countless people like him, but I have done things I regret and have used theology to navigate those feelings and the desire for purpose and redemption. He’s such a well written character. Plus he literally recites my favorite Psalm the moment you meet him. I knew I liked him as soon as he spoke. I just wish he was a full time companion and you could take down Cæsar with him.
Thanks friend! What is my opinion of Fallout 3 and 4? That's proven to be a really touchy subject amongst Fallout fans. For me personally, I think they are the weakest of the main entries.
@@steedless I agree , Though 3, 4 are not unplayable garbage like people claim they are, I still enjoy them for what they are even if they are weaker then NV , 1 and 2, I will not speak of 76 haha, I hope you do a video on Fallout 2, though I can imagine that being lengthy considering how deep that game is
@@steedless Not really that touchy. Those 2 are both popular, but even Fallout 3 fans will scoff at 4 a lot of the time. Because one of 4’s problems is that it tries to be both Fallout 3 and Mew Vegas while fucking up a lot of what makes both enjoyable

I have to wonder why you only used _Fallout 2's_ OST. I know some tracks from the first two games were used in the _NV,_ but most of the tracks here aren't even played in the game.

Do yourself a favor and play 3 via TTW. The best to enjoy it is with New Vegas’s improvements

Are you talking about the Fiends? They are in Vault 3. Vault 11 is the one where they had to sacrifice someone every year.

I saw Inon Zur's tracks being copyrighted on other videos so I went for the older soundtrack just in case. Only reason.
