In everything the Joker does...he helps Batman or Bruce so much. Letting him down like that is not the way to go. You can see how in the other ending, he really is a good guy but with a twist of a side. He even stopped Harley just for Bruce. In the end, keeping a friend is much more than making them a villain.
That's what I was thinking. In my story he's vigilante at the end. But I get the feeling on episode 5 there will be a twist like batman not agreeing with how he handles things in violence as a vigilante that they'll probably end up becoming enemies regardless. Either way it should be really interesting how it all turns out. Telltale has definitely outdone themselves with this one, I really like their new take on these characters especially Joker.
John is a pathological liar and certified sociopath. He lives for violence and will get on anybody's good side as long as he can keep doing it. He bounced between Harley (+ her gang) and Bruce this entire season, and all of his choices end up the same pretty much. (I personally was trying to be nice to him just in case he actually turns around)
These are my choices: - From the previous episode I have sacrificed Bruce. - Lowered the temperature for Freeze. - "We're coming with you" when John asks to look for Harley alone. - I didn't trust John and I have admitted that I've used him. - "John's lying to you" ending with Batman.

You know. Kind of hurt and disappointed that the people who have played so far didn't raise the temperature for freeze. I know batman can be brutal and strike fear but in the kind of circumstances freeze was in, he wouldn't let him suffer like that. Especially since compared to everyone else all he wanted was to cure his wife.
@David Szakacs I don't know man, even if he is technicaly a criminal, he's not exactly like The Riddler, Harley Quinn or Bane. He is a wise man victim of a terrible accident and he is just trying to save his wife, to me he is the less cruel member of The Pact. He only kills by some sort of extreme pragmatism and even if it's actually condemnable, to me he don't deserve the same fate as the others. Wayne even offered him to use his technologies to continue his research instead of doing bad things and he accepted. I believe if you offer him enough money and material, he won't even consider being a criminal and that's why I always loved Freeze in the Batman universe. Plus I agree on the fact that even if Batman tries to inspire fear to his ennemies, he's still a good man and don't particularly enjoy being sadistic.

Sorry to burst your bubble gum, but Cameron is right - for two reasons: First EVERY adaption of Batman has to have/get a Joker and second, and everybody who‘s avid in playing Telltale Games by now since more than just yesterday knows this already, their stories always end up with an awful twist that makes it impossible to really have it your way - no matter how often they pretend otherwise, things ARE scripted, so you never get to save everybody so everyone who thinks they can prevent „John Doe“ from becoming the Joker in the very end, has never played a Telltale thing before. You may get a few different lines and textures here and there by making certain choices, but that‘s as far as it goes - John is one of those characters that can‘t be saved, that‘s for 25000% sure and if you haven‘t seen it here already, you‘ll definitely see it in the later upcoming Chapter 5 - welcome to Telltale‘s way of a cheap exit!
He'd do what Batman doesn't: kill for justice, a violent vigilante with no mercy for "corrupt pigs" as he says. I think that's what Gotham really needs... I mean Batman created most of the main villains by not killing them after all, Joker included. Not saying it would be better.. but a good purge would give a new leaf for Gotham lol
One thing that annoys me about this series as a whole is how EVERYONE and their mother knows that Bruce is Batman. What's the whole point of keeping it a secret if this many people know? At this point, why not tell Gordon, the one who deserves to know most? I guess because they're all incredibly intelligent, moreso than the average person, but I roll my eyes everytime.
No matter the series, Joker always knew about Batman's identity, he just didn't care. Same for Waller and the Agency but she uses it as a blackmail. And that's it. You don't have to tell Tiffany.

I really love the Telltale Batman Series. I love the story and that it's a different take on Batman. The story is original and it's really well written. Plus I have a feeling that Tiffany will become Batgirl in this series and seeing that she came up with a suit for herself, I having a feeling that I might be right. It would be awesome to see her as Batgirl or as a female version of Batwing. I also love your videos.

I just realized something. If you decide to betray Catwoman from episode 3 and decide to trust John/Joker, Bruce doesn't dress up as Batman at all in this entire episode.
In my playthrough I went with the "I'm trusting you John" option, and with the subtitles disabled, I was actually gut-punched by that line "..I seriously thought you were here to check up on me!" Like, that was a seriously effective emotional moment!
You know, this actually explains why Riddler could take a lot of beating from Batman in the first episode. It's because Riddler survived the virus and gained healing and durability abilities from it, similar to what freeze said.

Finally, more Batman! That's what the last 2 episodes been lacking. There's one thing that still bothers me and that's Harley. They made her a little too untouchable in this whole season. About every character from both seasons has had some kind of comeuppance and/or lack of control at some point and time. But she's been large, in charge and untouched since the moment she showed up with barely any signs of weakness. I feel in the next episode, Batman and Joker are going to beat the hell out of each other while Harley's on the side line getting her hits in, talking big shit and then makes an escape, again untouched. Makes things real unbalanced when she's around, in my opinion. I just want to Batman punch her in the face one good time. Is that too much to ask?
It's been stated that her weakness is talking about her dad. She's also touchy about the history of mental illness that runs in her family, which overtook her dad. In this ep she loses her composure for a moment when Bruce brought it up, which in turn triggered John's interruption.
Stephen Shepherd Official it’s more possible now after this episode. She figures out Bruce is Batman. She has an attraction for Batman/Bruce. She questions Bruce about if he believes in his “crusade” very league of assassins. Along with how she mentions “existential crisis” like does she trust, Waller? Ra’s? The League of assassins? Also she looks like Talia. Green eyes and all. She’s an unknown character and I think it be interesting if she turns out to be Talia. Maybe looking to recruit Bruce as heir to the demon. Especially with how it bothered her when they were messing with Riddler’s corpse.
Vicent Serrano I don’t know if Telltale thought that far ahead and she’s secretly Talia. But if she is I really like it. She could be a big set up for season 3.
It's unlikely he's wrong. Due to the many clues throughout the series so far. His outline on the bridge after Ridler dies; The photo of Ridler with his eyes crossed out in John's Office; the conversation with himself about lying to Bruce after you walk in on him following his mass murdering of all those agents at the Fairground and that agent body with the bullet in their back.
Imagine if agent Avesta is secretly talia al ghul and the virus is developed into some Lazarus pit scenario; I mean the Lazarus pit alters the user’s mentality. And we haven’t seen ras al ghul yet maybe if they were going to do a season 3 it could lead to that the league of assassins. It’s an out there theory lool

The Lotus seems to work a lot like the Titan Cure from Arkham City, and that stuff was basically synthetic Lazarus Juice, if I remember right. 1) To work, it needs the blood of someone who's already had the pure stuff 2) Can act as a panacea thing but also seems to cause insanity
I find it funny how Waller is ashamed about the whole dark past of The Agency, but she doesn't bat an eye at taking people with medical problems and dangling the antidote right in front of them to have them do her bidding.

Well at least he's by himself and not with the Pacte anymore. If we use proper words as Bruce or as Batman he may understand he's doing good things but with wrong ways. I prefer that than completly loosing him and see him sided with Harley, imo.

The blood is really hard to tell running down his face.. I looked at the other players at the table... All sweating but with huge smiles.. They loved my creativity and how I changed the game in their eyes forever, I told them "I'm glad you got the punchline hahahahahahahahah."
I never understood the illustration for this chapter. It implies that John is pale because he paints his face white, but nothing in the story supports that.
The Gameplay seemed weak this time. The Player/Batman shouldn’t had kept a secret from Tiffany. The more Bruce distances himself coldly from people who want to be with him, the more it drives them to a wronger path. Her becoming Waller apprentice and Joker becoming evil. I am heartbroken in a way. Sigh. John was such a good guy. But in all honesty, the “Kiss Scene” was a bit forced.. A complete 180 when he’s called MR.J. It’s like she easily accepted it and not taken by surprised so it didn’t feel real.... I was hoping he’d regain his memories and fully snapped crazy but it didn’t really go like that. All in all. I wonder if Batman regrets? He could had prevented deaths
When I saw that Harley had been captured, I was like, “Oh man, everything worked out!” until John tells Waller, “I don't think so,” and refuses to hand over the virus. Telltale seems to do that a lot, if not all the time. Just when we think everything will be fine once the main villain is dealed with, a new problem pops up (which I'm not complaining, I love this storytelling).

lol now two years later 95% of players help Freeze. it was a hard choice for me personally, but I helped him because that's what Batman would do.

I really love the Telltale Batman Series. I love the story and that it's a different take on Batman. The story is original and it's really well written. Plus I have a feeling that Tiffany will become Batgirl in this series and seeing that she came up with a suit for herself, I having a feeling that I might be right. It would be awesome to see her as Batgirl or as a female version of Batwing. I also love your videos.

I just realized something. If you decide to betray Catwoman from episode 3 and decide to trust John/Joker, Bruce doesn't dress up as Batman at all in this entire episode.

Finally, more Batman! That's what the last 2 episodes been lacking. There's one thing that still bothers me and that's Harley. They made her a little too untouchable in this whole season. About every character from both seasons has had some kind of comeuppance and/or lack of control at some point and time. But she's been large, in charge and untouched since the moment she showed up with barely any signs of weakness. I feel in the next episode, Batman and Joker are going to beat the hell out of each other while Harley's on the side line getting her hits in, talking big shit and then makes an escape, again untouched. Makes things real unbalanced when she's around, in my opinion. I just want to Batman punch her in the face one good time. Is that too much to ask?
It's been stated that her weakness is talking about her dad. She's also touchy about the history of mental illness that runs in her family, which overtook her dad. In this ep she loses her composure for a moment when Bruce brought it up, which in turn triggered John's interruption.

She questions Bruce about if he believes in his “crusade” very league of assassins. Along with how she mentions “existential crisis” like does she trust, Waller? Ra’s? The League of assassins? Also she looks like Talia. Green eyes and all. She’s an unknown character and I think it be interesting if she turns out to be Talia. Maybe looking to recruit Bruce as heir to the demon. Especially with how it bothered her when they were messing with Riddler’s corpse.

Well at least he's by himself and not with the Pacte anymore. If we use proper words as Bruce or as Batman he may understand he's doing good things but with wrong ways. I prefer that than completly loosing him and see him sided with Harley, imo.

The Gameplay seemed weak this time. The Player/Batman shouldn’t had kept a secret from Tiffany. The more Bruce distances himself coldly from people who want to be with him, the more it drives them to a wronger path. Her becoming Waller apprentice and Joker becoming evil. I am heartbroken in a way. Sigh. John was such a good guy. But in all honesty, the “Kiss Scene” was a bit forced.. A complete 180 when he’s called MR.J. It’s like she easily accepted it and not taken by surprised so it didn’t feel real....
I was hoping he’d regain his memories and fully snapped crazy but it didn’t really go like that.
All in all. I wonder if Batman regrets? He could had prevented deaths

Telltale seems to do that a lot, if not all the time. Just when we think everything will be fine once the main villain is dealed with, a new problem pops up (which I'm not complaining, I love this storytelling).
