I clicked this video to learn about the headlight, but I spent half the video puzzling over the curious array of electronics on the white wall. For what it's worth, the amazon link does not take you to the same headlight you are using. Your headlight looks like a JNS Engineering light? Kudos for linking your bracket design.
Well...the amazon link WAS the correct link. I looked at JNS engineering but decided no to go that route. Looks like the amazon seller may have changed sources. I can't find the matching light on Amazon anymore, but here is the correct one on Ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/224935003278 The array of electronics is a function of being close to my breaker box...there are a couple of VFD's there that make 3 phase power for my lathe and mill, and some GPU rigs running linux that I use for image processing in my Drone business. They're out in my shop because they're noisy and make a lot of heat.
Love this setup! I’m on the hunt to try and find this headlight online. If anyone had a current link I would appreciate it! Thavkyou for sharing the design ! Now to track down someone with a 3D printer ! Also on a side note - I have a drz400 as well as a Ducati 😅 - older 2000 monster 900 love the sound!
I've had the Chinese version on my drz and I currently have the JNS headlight and it's huge difference. Although I don't ride at night often, it's night to have as much light as possible to throw down road and as wide as possible. BUT the JNS is superb if you can afford it. I bought the $300 light, but it's worth it if you ride at night.
I fully intend to upgrade to the morimoto sealed beam in the near future. I have no complaints about my $30 solution, but there is clearly some room for improvement
I am ordering the JNS Holley light for my new 2023 DRZ400 here in Alaska and dealership is putting it on (no garage at home). It will interesting to see how much difference it will have compared to the Morimoto, and the Chinese variants.
Hi Matt, Could you please update the AMAZON link as the existing one does not work, unfortunately?
I also can’t find this light.
Curious what seat or cover you have on your bike? Love the look
Nice upgrade Matt.. good lighting is a must have ! 👍👍

You should make one set of mounting holes (top or bottom) curved slots to allow for some adjustment up and down.

Wonderful and generous! Thank you! I wish you could share the right Morimoto product link, as it worked strange in your FB post :)
Have you tried plugging in the turn signal wires to your headlight? Also have you thought of 3d printing auxillary light mounts for the drz??

@@sorenmelchior just install it yourself! It’s super simple. Phillips head screwdriver and 10/12mm
@@Offshoretripp it’s-9F outside and I don’t have a garage or I would.
❤❤❤❤ thank you
Would you sell a bracket? I can paypal you.
Sure, I've done quite a few for people. We would need to make sure the headlight you purchased has the correct bolt spacing on the back...
@@MattVerley Cool. I haven't purchased a headlight yet but I'll keep this in-mind.
