    I was going through what felt like an existential crisis since becoming a mom of two. Not only was I enraged most of the time because of that non-existent sense of control I was holding on to (as you made me realize) but also because I have no idea what life is all about anymore! Nothing is coming easy, I was shoulding left and right all over everything, and I had no idea what the hell is a parent, a woman, a mother what ANYTHING is anymore. Now I'm starting to find direction again because of your channel. God bless you.
    "Your job as a parent is to love your children no matter what and even if." Life changing. It is all I can do for them after all... going back to having no control point LOL
    Much, much appreciated.

    The advice "consequences that do not require cooperation" Is great advice for a dad parenting a young teenager. I found that's also great advice for dealing with an ex spouse,co parent ,living in a separate household!

    Always love your videos. Love your way of being comedic and making great points so you make it more comfortable to even hear, not like your attacking people for how they are, appreciate that.

    I recently started following your videos and I'm loving your strategies and tips. I'm a working mom of twins boys. Please talk about positive parenting twins.

    I'm a mom of two, broke more than a homeless man on the corner of my cross streets and I'm always jumping from channel to channel to be a better parent. I told my husband I needed personal development work and he said I was crazy. This proves I'm right. I wish I can afford a course to better myself. ☺️

    Can u pls give those of us with family members who are mentally ill tips & tools to help?
    I have a father who is Narcisitic & has blow ups & also a 29 yr old low IQ step daughter who has Schizo-affective Bipolar & has frequent IED's how do u deal with that especially when her meds are weaning out of her system?
    How do u deal with the delusions that they have? Such as Grandiose, Jealousy, Persecutory, & Somatic (? the one that deals with the body).
    I need tools because I feel so clueless on how to best work with this & I also feel helpless on knowing how best to help her. Are all these IED's from a situation that happened recently or is it the lack of medicine in her system because her body is metabolizing it to fast? How do you defuse & help protect those around them when they get so Volitale?
    I just have so many questions
    How to diffuse their anger especially when their perceptions are so twisted from the truth?

      When someone is having a delusion the number one thing is to keep calm. If you have a trusting relationship with them, you can try to calm them down and then redirect. Sometimes you just have to wait it out and reassure them. The best thing for you would be to get into counseling for yourself to help you learn how to deal with these situations. Good luck.

    Have you worked with young children with Autism? I have a son with level 2 non-verbal Autism. I have used these consequences. They don't really help.

    • @LiveOnPurposeTV
      @LiveOnPurposeTV  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have. It really depend on the level of Autism and if there is anything else going on along with the autism.

    What happens when the other parent is the one that is on stage one? Ego, manipulative, undermines calm parent authority.

    • @LiveOnPurposeTV
      @LiveOnPurposeTV  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Get in counseling. They need to understand what their behavior is doing.

    “It’s about stage, not age” 20 times during this video was unnecessary. I understood it the first 5 times he said it. After that, it was distracting, and I ended up turning off the video
