Lantern light cannot be in a lower tier than banana. It's an objectively better card. There are no situations where you're on 1 and you're buying a 1 gold targeted buff. Apples maybe but not banana.
Good video. My changes: Chefs Choice from B to A, in the early game. Reckless investment from A to S for filling or fixing your curve, Staff of Hamuul from A to S. Fortify from A to B, Recruit a Trainee from C to B, for turn 3 use specifically. Azerite Empowerment from D to B. Often in the late game, its essentially 4 Kalecgos triggers. If your comp is more or less finished, it's very helpful to buff up your support units against scam, instead of rolling down the gold. Like for example instead of playing a battlecry in my Dragon build, I instead just pop down a Matador or Bramblewitch and then buy Azerite. That way I am not stuck with a weak scaling slot unit. Sure, you could still play Battlecries before you plop down your tech, but idk, I like the spell somehow.
I know this was probably on your docket, but this was my suggestion for a video in the discord. Pretty solid tiering. Of course we al have our opinions but I think you get a lot of people that have their favorite spells. No matter what.
Good list, Heretic. I almost completely agree. Maybe Roar is a lower tier. Just a personal preference obviously, but I’ve only ever used it ig it’s generated for free, it’s that much of a gold sink.
I dont like "Overconfident" because I want to level up with my opponents and not after them. But it can speed up a lobby a lot and this spell easily secures me 4th place when I stay down 1 turn while my opponent levels.
I love buddies and maybe it’s just my luck but I feel like every time I use Buddy Up I get a selection of 3 buddies that do nothing to enhance or enable my build and end up throwing the buddy away
My changes: - Roar C or even D tier. You have to use it really early and on a card you will keep, which these days is really hard with all the midrange top4 builds around, otherwise it's just not worth it. And then it was nerfed to 3 gold so most times it's better to buy a minion then that spell. - Vigor higher than Lantern makes no sense, sorry 😂 they have the same effect but one is permanent and the other is temporary. Lantern B, Vigor D tier (not useless, just veeery situational) - Disagree with any economy spell in C tier. Generating gold is fundamentally always good, so you always should think about picking it up. Different from other C tier spells that are just not good sometimes.
Echoing Raor is D-Tier. 3-stars is just an awkward place for this card to be in. I would want it in 2-stars. Because I probably sell my minions in the next few rounds Except for demon where the 2-star minion is important into the late-game. Or for a golden whelp smuggler. Or for a Bronze Sandspewer. Or for a deflect-o-Bot. Or magnetic minions that you plan to make golden. But these are the only 2-3-stars minions that you would use this spell on)
Would you be willing to do a video series on tier list ranking minions? Especially the trash tier ones. You could split the video series up by either Tiers or classes, but I would really appreciate it. IMO it would probably be best to do tiers between 1 and 3 and then minion type for 4+
I will think on that one. It is hard has minions by themselves are VERY different compared to in conjunction with others. Manasaber for me is meh, but Manasaber+Hungry Snapjaw is S Tier on turn 3. On Turn 7+ they are D Tier if both arrive in the same shop. LIts on my list as a possibility though!
I don't think Buddy Up is much different than Sacred Gift. You don't wanna buy either of them if you don't already have a solid board with direction, buddies are rarely gonna give you any direction. I think they're both A, you always buy them if you've got a good end game board. I think you're sleeping on Yogg and Golden Touch. If Yogg cost 3, we would definitely be saying it was A tier, so at worst it's B. And we've all used Golden Touch to buy out the shop, buy a golden Baron or whatever, and eventually win the game. No spell that's that powerful (even if circumstantial) can be C tier imo. Also Tavern Coin should probably be S tier since you ALWAYS buy it right? I've even seen top players freeze for it if they have any sort of spell synergy on board. Good video though, I like the content!
Dreamers Embrace is D-Tier. Tell me a good scenario in a lobby without dragons. You pay 3 for something that is valued at 2 (you sell the battlecry minion most of the time at tier 5). Even when I play a battlecry compostion it does not feel good.

Same for Vigor. Lantern on tier 4 would be a permanent 4/4, vigor is a temporary 6/6 at the same tier, how can it be ranked higher?
This three cards inconsistencies were the ones I noticed too. Except for those, I agree with your list 👍🏼 Great job

Amazing video! Thank you! All the videos that you are launching since the new season started are great!!!

If you get a token minion (naga or elemental) + Them Apples, you can get the buff on four 2-star Minions. Insane

Don't forget the overconfidence vs eliminated player combo.

strike oil is my baby it always saves me late game when ii need rerols etc.
I don't buy it very much, but if I get quest reward spells cast twice I take it EVERY time!

It is funny how the whole Demon-Gameplan is destroyed by 1 Elemtental-Quillboar
Hey they have to leave something in the game with Leeroy gone!
How is "Dreamers Embrace" and "Hired Headhunter" in the same Tier?! Hired Headhunter practically costs 1 less. And it is an alliteration
thank you
love u
thanks
:D
Strike Oil got me killed so many times.
Hammul Staff not S? Hot take.
I love the spell it is VERY good, but its just not a MUST by like Armor, or Titus' Tribute which can keep you alive, or instantly win you a combat.
I think Strike Oil is the only S+ of the set lol
insanely strong if you have 2, by the third uve got it in the bag
