Yes, that's true. I use Counter Culture and they have numerous resin viscosities for different purposes.

I absolutely adore this tray... So Stunning... I make tumblers also and I am like you wanting to do some personal art like painting dimensional or stain glass You know its not just slapping on a decal. I enjoy making them mine by creating on my pieces. for example I love doing leopard spots I don't use vinyl ones I paint them and glitter them. ok I am rambling but my point is I so enjoy the creating by hand...Love your channel and your creative mind. To add to using resin for the glitter... the resin continues to move n would do too much mixing. Instead of the darker just on the edge it would fully mix n

Oh My God this is soo beautiful ! I love the glam and color combination ! Did it dry completely before you poured another resin layer, so is sanding not needed?
💖thank you.. yes, the base layer was completely cured for about 12 hours.. for my resin I don't generally need to sand between layers

I finally found some but it was kind of a challenge to locate. If you could provide the link to that for me, I would appreciate it. Again, absolutely beautiful.
🥰I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video. I got my liquid latex from a local Halloween/ costume store... so unfortunately I don't have a link... but pretty much any liquid latex will work

I noticed you don't sand between coats/layers of resin....is that because of the type of resin you use or because you use the varnish? New sub here and loveee your work and how yu present information. Very calming voice but one can still hear the passion and the love you have for creating
💖welcome Stephie! So glad you liked the video. The type of resin I use doesn't need sanding as long as I pour the layers in a short time span... so I usually do a 2nd coat about 10 hours to a day after the 1st. Every resin is different though, so go with what your manufacturer recommends

And yes I suspected it might have been the type of resin but wasn't sure. I believe I am going to be in the market asap for a different resin lol.
