    The LiaDia Designs Dandelion Origin Story:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    Since 2019, Nadia from LiaDia Designs has been hand-painting these beautiful coasters for her customers. Hard to believe these coasters started out as an "oops" or "making lemonade" as Nadia refers to them...and ended up becoming a resin coaster trend online for the past 2 years!
    In this tutorial, Nadia shows you her step by step process.
    To learn the story behind the origin of these coasters, check out LiaDia Designs' instagram (post date Nov 8 2019) Enjoy!

      To fill in the grooves, just paint the whole coaster with white acrylic paint and then wipe off... it will stay in the grooves. Then seal with resin.

  • @lindao7887

    These are exquisite!!! Question: After the Pabeo dries, could you use your UV resin with some glitter for the centers - cure it, then top coat with the epoxy resin? (that is if you can't run out and buy the gloss varnish)

    • @LiaDiaDesigns
      @LiaDiaDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically yes, but remember that uv resin yellows much faster than 2 part epoxy resin

    Beautiful as Always. Also I love the way you're able to use the bottom of the cups for the glitter. Do you wipe them with a paper towel and reuse or just let them dry & flip them over to use for mixing?

    • @LiaDiaDesigns
      @LiaDiaDesigns  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So for coasters... I know how much my molds can hold... so if I'm handpainting, I usually pour half the amount (or slightly less) for the base... then I have room to play with for the top coat and flood coat (if I choose to add)

      Yes their Artist line... if you just want resin for pouring (layers etc) and not necessarily for special effects... go with Thin, less issues with bubbles... the thicker the resin, the higher chance for bubbles
