• Pigments and Glitters
• Acrylic paint or outliner of your choice as per options (found at Michaels or local art stores):
- Pebeo Vitrea160 or Cerne Relief Outliner in Gold
- Acrylic Paint or DecoArt + Thickening Gel if needed.
• Gloss Varnish - I used DuraClear Gloss Varnish

im your latest sub,i love your content,your art is gorgeous.im a very new resin artist,ive only dabbled and have slowed down after getting all of my safety tools that i didnt know were necessary and ive been very cautious having done art in my living quarters and am feeling some guilt as im a special needs mom and naively started w out practicing or really researching the importance of the overall safety measures necessary and i think im finally ready to jump back into it...along w a respirator and cartridges gloves and glasses i ordered a variety of molds,some alcohol inks,other nail art scatter and other do dads to play w and even started drying a variety of flowers and ferns from my garden im chock full of supplies and tools and im feeling like its time to do some actual resin crafting again but correctly and without the guilt this time,thanks for the well needed nudge and awesome video,much love from NH

I really love your work. They turned out beautiful! As I was watching you reach over the coaster in the front to push the resin to the edge of the back one, I thought… I would’ve put my forearm in that resin about 3 or 4 times by the time I finished it 😂. I got 3 tubes of Pebeo and I’m going to give that technique a try. Unfortunately the gold one had the tip broken when I received it, probably had something to do with the 12”x16” box they shipped that lone tube in 🙄. Thanks for another great video!

Omg it just kills me how smoothly you draw! May I ask if the tip of the Pebeo paint touches the cured resin? I have such a difficult time drawing a solid smooth line 😢

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Love the Dandelions too! Thank you for the carving out the bubbles trick! I usually have to sand but I'll try this technique next time. I usually do everything including rim painting before my last coat of resin to seal everything. Is there a reason why you save the gold trim painting for last & don't resin it? Thank you for sharing your Beautiful work! ❣️
The paint I use doesn't need to be topcoated as it's more of an enamel... once it's cured, it's pretty set, and I like the finish of it😊

Beautiful. Just one question, how to protect the coasters to get rid from starches? I mean, If one wants to stack up together. Do u put anything on the back of the coasters
i don't... but i keep my coasters (or recommend to my customers) separate until the 30 day "hard cure" period has passed... then usually stacking isn't an issue

Is the glitter used inside for the filling (tarquoise and gold etc) also fine glitters ?

Thank you💕 i prefer the varnish because it gives me almost unlimited time to create my designs... once you mix resin, you're on the clock to get everything don't before the resin starts to set. The resin I use starts to set within 25 - 30 minutes, so it's not enough time for my intricate designs (and i don't want the added stress lol). Others have used resin with longer working times and have used that instead... so it's really your preference.

I thought about doing stencils for a long while (I think this video is almost 2 years old by now)... after discussing with many followers and members, it was decided to start with "Ready-to-Paint" pieces instead as many find the outliner I use challenging for various reasons. So we started with stained glass style suncatchers, if you're interested in seeing them, you can check out my website liadiadesigns.com 🥰. Stencils may still be in the future, but I can't say for sure if or when.💕

Any idea if puff paint will work? That's all Hobby Lobby had the lady was so rude and insulting that I wasn't up to going anywhere else. I had already driven 45 minutes one way to go there. It was not my day!!! Update my Michael's doesn't have it either
