@@robertmccorkle9656 that’s a great question, I don’t believe there is just one that covers everything and is written in a way that is understandable to me anyway. The factory manuals are the most detailed but also do not talk about the issues they have and how to overcome them. The Seloc manuals have some info that is added but also does not cover everything. My best suggestion is to read both and find a local marine shop that has someone who has the experience and will share knowledge with you. Is there something specific you need to do or understand?
My 2016 175hp Optimax had a rough idle and sometimes dies while idling but runs smooth the rest of the time. I changed belt, air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, and oil filter. I run ethanol free gas with Optimax two cycle oil with fuel additives to clean the fuel system. The engine has between 90 and 100 hrs on it.
@@robertmccorkle9656 I would check for even compression. Check air pump and fuel pump pressure. Be sure the o rings in the air pump are good and not getting water in the air lines.
I have a 2005 mercury 90hp. Js bought and I let someone work on it that caused more damage to fuel rail and vapor chamber. I need some parts
