I think a neat trick you left out is that when Wigfrid is starving and she has monster meat and near spiders, she can eat the monster meat and take damage and defeat the spider to gain that lost of health back.

Didnt know she lifesteals, only that she gets 5 hp and 5 sanity for each kill. Some characters are picking flowers, some characters go on a bloodthirsty massacre to get their sanity back.
I would say wigfrid is deep primarily in what she allows rather than what her kit contains. For example, she is actually able to afford eating raw monster meat a lot of the time, despite not having any stat negation on it like webber or wormwood, specifically because HP and sanity are so free to her.
I mostly play wigfrid as a support then tank, since she seems more effective that way, you can use other weapons that seems niche but highly usefull for wigfrid example being Tail o' Three Cats is very effective for her to activate her buffs without her taking dmg alternativly you can use chill amulet in combaniation with rude interlude for moment of aoe crowd control. Getting hit by small creatures also grants you inspiration but not bosses.
And here I thought Krampus was the best creature to leech health off (50 damage and 200 hp is the best ratio). Well, him and the crows during moon storm. Thx for the informative video.
Another cool thing she can do is give battle helms to pigmen. It may not seem like a big deal but it basically triples the pigmens life. Once you get stone fruit and a bird cage, it's really easy to generate the resources to make battle helms. The pigs stay alive and distract enemies for a lot longer, which can really help Wigfrid keep from getting overwhelmed by large numbers of enemies.
Alternate title: a guide about why Wigfrid is good and how to tank properly without armor and regens health and sanity at the same time while having extra defense and damage.
But the real kicker is if you use Wigfrid's Lifesteal + Heartrending ballad + other healing sources... Imagine if you had a Bat Bat or ate some Jellybeans mid fight and heal all your health in an instant
Well it's kind of just more of an explanation of how her vampirism works and a few other things. When she gets voted in for my character of the month video I could probably do some more on it

With her I rarely get to the point where I would be interested in HP that much anyway. Less time sleeping of getting grenn mushs. More time farming meat, silk and healing.

What you have described (in delicious detail btw) is how her tankiness and hp leech work, but there was no information about any of the songs, except the heartrending ballad. There are very useful buffs a Wigfrid can contribute to the team, like slower weapon drain, which can really save on resources when fighting bosses with a lot of hp, or making teammates gain sanity, and lose less sanity from insanity auras. The fear song is very situational, but also has a few moments where it can shine. Lastly the most important aspect in my opinion, is that she can provide helmets with a lot more durability, which replaces the need for pigskin with gold and rocks - which are much easier to farm and stockpile. These can also be provided to teammates pretty much on day 1, if you go to the mosaic biome first, which can be a nice way to safely introduce somebody to the harsh environments of dst, when they're taking their first steps, or are still learning.

klei has missed such a great opportunity with wigfrid remember when dark sword was in reality just twigs? since wigfrid is not an actual warrior and its just playing pretend what about you make her equipment just part of her imagination like the rest of her abilites
It never said she couldn't actually fight though. Some actors do their own stunts and training. She's a method actress and she's basically living her role

I thought the same too but then I tested it spiders do 15 dmg to her and 13 spider hits Is 195 dmg to wigfrid That would be 260 effective hp and living which means she has more than 250 which is interesting
If I understood the formula correctly than it should be 2.125 worth of healing not 2.15 and you are using breckets there not incorrect but at least controversial. This way would be much more readable as for me (BASE WEAPON DMG x ENEMY BASE DMG x 0.25) / 100
Wigfrid summed up: - If you are a noob, it will teach you the bad habit of not kiting - If you are a pro, you know just how busted she is, to the point of wanting to play other chars that don't trivialize the game

Yep if you use a blowdart on the moonstorm crow you you technically gain 100 hp and sanity if it were uncapped lol 100 because of the dart double proc

Yep its the same exact formulas and everything. the only difference being that her song is 1 sanity a hit vs .5 for hp.

But the more I think about it the more it makes sense, let's say you take 250 dmg and make it 25% less you get uh idk but it is less than 200
The math here is, since ur taking 3/4 dmg, you effectively have 4/3 more HP, not that hard
