Wigfrid was one of the most powerful characters in the game before the rework, and from what I can tell she didn't lose a single thing from her previous form during the upgrade. So these things might be a bit underwhelming, but considering they aren't here at the expense of anything else, I'd say it's fair to limit the upgrades to simply making her more team-oriented instead of just being a lone wanderer/blacksmith for the team.
@@starchysunstance5973 Well that's just a lie. I'm wondering if/when and/or HOW they'd rework Wilson. I mean, his beginner bio says he's a scientist, yet he doesn't have any knowledge boosts like Wickerbottom, who just says "knows many things" if I'm not mistaken. So maybe Wilson would end up having like a discounted crafting recipe for all "Science Tab" related structures, or his own various inventions. Like maybe he can make combat related things similar to Winona but not needing fuel or anything. I'm not sure. Though I do feel like if he did get a rework it'd be a pretty decent one as he didn't have much to begin with, but I feel as though making him a sorta tinker-er would be good for both his backstory and a possible rework. As we saw in his clip, he was working on some sorta serum or something before it blew up in his face and then proceeded to build Maxwells door as per his instructions from the radio. Perhaps after Wilson made this portal it allowed for Maxwell to manifest himself in the world of the living (vs the Constant). I'm also intrigued as to how the other survivors ended up in the constant. Warly was kinda just...vaporized into it. Wormwood was born in it from some celestial moonstone or something. Wendy and Willow (thus far) just kinda....popped in?
@@meyr1992 I can understand that. But from the beginning it was stated he was a Scientist. Yet he never does anything scientific. The librarian knows more than the scientist. You don't think that's even the slightest bit off? Tbh I think WILSON should have the science boost and Wickerbottom should be nerfed a little by having basic survivor intelligence. Maybe in her rework she could have her own specific recipes. Like a "Gardening Shovel" Unique Wickerbottom craft that acts like a standard shovel or "trowel" so she can perform some actions faster? Like maybe Wickerbottom harvests crops faster or can dig faster using her shovel? (Similar to Woodie's faster chopping) Idk, I do feel like Wilson should have something to do with Science though. Or have his bio changed to reflect him better. Like "The broken scientist" or something. Idk. Like make the bios tie into their characters better, like they're KINDA doing.
@@darkstone_official_2427 isn't wilson supposed to be a failed scientist more than anything? either way, wilson is the default beginner character so i doubt he'll change. also, wickerbottom does have her own crafts?
@@mollypolly8631 I know she has her own BOOK crafts. But I was just thinking of random junk. I mistook one of her voice lines for something she could do or have. She states that she misses her garden when examining something. I think the farm or improved farm. I can't remember which. And I wouldn't say 'failed' scientist...maybe struggling. Or failed. Honestly we don't know, we never really got anything on his backstory other than that Maxwell blatantly tricked him. We don't know what he did before that. If anything a better backstory video would help clear some stuff up. Or maybe just written backstory that we have to go read, because a lot of this feels like it's just shoved into place. Did these characters have a life in the Constant BEFORE the whole shadow business, or were they tricked into coming? We see Woodie already here and in Walters backstory we see that Woodie might've been around at some point, but we don't know how he ended up there, because Walter has stuff like "mysterious sightings" on the cabin walls and whatnot. And if it IS Woodie's cabin, where'd he go from there? Because in his rework video he's already there. So how'd he get there? I do like these little 'rework' videos, but where's the actual backstory information on how they arrived?
I feel like the fireproof falsetto should be changed to something like Insulating Intrada basically rather than providing just fire protection provide defence from both fire and ice as well as overhearing and freezing it would make it generally more useful and could make fighting as during the summer or winter more reasonable.
It's such an out-of-left field addition that doesn't make sense as a buff in the context of this game given how combat influences said buff itself. It absolutely needs a change.
Unless the fire resistance is implemented for future content? Who is to say we don't get a new fire related boss / mobs coming soon and this would be beneficial? As it does seem rather odd right now with only really DF and I guess klaus doing fire dmg in a fight
Don't get me wrong, the rework is okay - it's just not a rework really... you know what I mean? :D They added stuff and can be taken or left with either choice not really mattering to the other, and that to me is not really a way to give a beloved character the love she deserves.
Mannnn, I was so hyped up for a rework. But the best thing out of all this is probably the animation and lore lol... Also props on getting all the testing + video out this fast, much appreciated!
when i heard the word rework, i was thinking of something along the lines of woodie. this is just a straight buff considering they didn’t touch anything that made her really strong. you can live without these new features and just play on.
All these people saying Wigfrid's additions are pointless, when everyone is completely missing the best part about them: the opera singer CAN SING NOW! Seriously, the already fantastic battle themes in this game are brought to such thrilling heights with vocal accompaniment! Boss fights go from intense to epic with the addition of Wigfrid harmonizing to the chaos. I'm surprised he didn't mention this at all in the video. That being said, while I adore the new singing and inspiration mechanics, I have to agree that the way they're implemented feels half-baked. The main problem I see with the stagecraft songs is that the players who benefit the most from their buffs are the ones least capable of crafting them. Inexperienced players need every edge they can get to survive big fights like seasonal bosses and hound attacks and most of these songs seem to acknowledge that. However, the resources needed to make the songs (let alone maintain the inspiration needed to use them) are most easily obtained by players who are already so experienced that they become completely superfluous... Hopefully Klei revisits the Stagecraft stuff in the future. I think they're onto something excellent, it just needs more work.
I know this comment and video were from 2 years ago and I apologize for the notification but seriously, I cannot agree more DX I was a Wig main before the lunar islands, before this rework, before a lot of things and this is exactly how it feels. This rework makes SENSE to the character, it fits her story and I really love that, specially because it's exactly the reason I was a Wig main, because she's charming and really cool, an actress so passionate that she just NEVER breaks character?! BRO! but those items needed to craft the ballads are very worrying, I'm not a vet in the slightest, I've never even reached the ruins simply 'cause it's scary asf nor I've crafted magic stuff, idk I just feel like the character I felt so good playing gonna make me feel anxious instead...
@@dhamotl7607As a "vet" I feel like this rework was played too safe which doesnt make sense since wolfgang was heavily buffed when he was already s tier. Wigfrid basically got extremely small buffs that she can spread around the team but she still isnt worth playing for anything more than her battle helms. The songs just are not worth it.
I liked the slight change of lore in regards to what kind of performer Wigfrid was. And also to what her method acting means. As for the songs... I like them. Not all the most useful but I like them.
Eh pretty disappointing with this rework. NOTHING compared to the Willow and Wendy rework, both of which made the characters playable for me. Wigfrid is one of those characters that i feel is pretty straight forward and good already and this rework was just kind of pointless. But i cant complain that much because at least it is new content.
I feel like it is just an excuse for players to grind in game a lot longer for these items, such as the fire reduction buff that shit will likely take over 20+ days to get. Klei is really trying to shove the whole sidequest and delayed bosses thing down our throats.
@@dylanw.1740 Yeah i could definitely see that. I dont really ever play wigfrid that much and probably wont because i feel that she is just kind of a boring character to play and this rework did nothing to help that
The Backstory of her actually shocked me because I believed she arrived to the constant from the same force that took both Maxwell and Charlie in the San Francisco theater, but looking deeper into the actual history, I believe that when Wigfrid was taken after the Earthquake happened 3 years ago or she was taken when the earthquake struck only a few weeks ago. I also saw her as a pure character, only following what is right and ignoring what is wrong, seeing that she took the offer to become popular again kinda changes my perspective on her
Maxwell states the world will be her stage and her quote is "the world is my stage!" which is interesting. she is prob a couple months to a year after Maxwell was taken. BUT disappearances were stated in the article alluding to the fact that she is likely not the first. Webber may be the first or potentially wicker. All the people in the constant have something they'd rather leave behind in their past (Wilson is a failed scientist, Maxwell "William Carter" was in mob trouble, Willow burned down her orphanage and had a generally bad life, Worm is born from the moon and had no friends, Wortox sucked the soul out his Krampus.
I think a great change to the rework would be if Wigfrid could have a permanent song layout prepared without having to use inventory space and time in battle to use those damn things. Like, If I ever used 3 songs in battle, those songs will stay memorized in that spot of my inspiration meter until I use other songs, and if I reach the corresponding inspiration Wigfrid will apply the memorized buff, possibly by just singing while being able to keep fighting. So that way Wigfrid will apply buffs passively once you prepared it the longer combat goes on. Because honestly, the way it is now, it is not worth carrying around the songs most of the time just from an inventory space perspective. So either make the buffs a lot stronger or make the buffs use far more passive so that Wigfrid just excells in long combat without those annoying downsides to it. That is my take on it at least. Or they should make every buff cost inspiration instead and have it last for a certain duration but inspiration does not just expire. Like, it is a resource you can store and use whenever needed. That should then also mean that inspiration is slower to get I suppose but I would much rather sing the songs before battle, apply some buffs with maybe a half or one day duration to me and my allies and then storm into battle prepared.
I'm gonna make an incredibly bold prediction that I have very little evidence for whatsoever, but I can't help but think that with these unexplained disappearances in the Don't Starve universe seemingly becoming more and more apparent to the people on earth to the point where it's reaching headlines, (and here's my prediction) the Constant- whether it's Charlie's influence or simply some kind of instability between both worlds, is gradually leaking into and changing earth at an increasing rate. In fact, what if the "return of Them" is not _"Them"_ returning to the Constant, but to earth? After all, how did Maxwell (A.K.A William Carter) discover the Codex Umbra on earth if something magical like that could have only existed in the Constant? Perhaps it was "Them" who, at some point in the far flung past, was on earth and had to flee back into the Constant, leaving their ancient and forbidden knowledge behind, only for some poor sucker like Maxwell to find and fall down a rabbit hole I'm sure he never intended to...
I have a couple ideas of how to make this update actually useful. First off her taunt song should gain inspo instead of spend it. The number and size of each mob should give her inspo accordingly. This would be a great way to initiate combat and since she is the tankiest character this would fit her theme. It also would be unspamable as long as inspiration was only gained for mobs not already aggro'd on you. Then she could possibly use a buff early since singing mid battle with multiple mobs is tricky at best and often leads to taking extra hits. Perhaps a 10 second timer before she begins to drain inspiration. Change the fire resistant song to an across the board damage reduction. Who takes fire damage? Lol and the sanity drain song is quite expensive for only being useful for deerclops and a few other fights. If it is going to be so niche then it could definetly be stronger. It's just not worth taking seven equipment slots for so little upside.
I seem to see a trend with new characters and Reworks, they seem to just add a character specific crafting tab... I mean I guess its fine, but some more creativity would've been nice
Winona got catapults, Willow got burnie to fight nightmares, woody got two additional transformations, and Wendy got a crafting tab. Even the Wigfrid crafting tab relies on her fighting with a new resource. Pretty creative and varied if you ask me.
Also, Cookie, that's not the point they are making I believe - at least that's not how I took it. We aren't talking the overall reworks themselves, we're talking about just how everything just gets dumped into yet another tab.
since the others are getting reworks then they should give Wolfgang a rework which would allow him to befriend hounds... y'know the wolf in Wolfgang... Also maybe add 3 different favorite foods? it makes sense since he has 3 different stages of himself
Klei should make the basilisk creature something that can show up if wigfrid is following tracks for a hunt, and it should drop papyrus nightmare, fuel and maybe monster meat.
Lmao I recently started playing don’t starve again after years and I played wigfrig and didn’t even acknowledge these songs until the end of my first year in the game
Wingfrid rework would have been better if the songs she crafted would be consumed to commit them to memory with like a max of three songs learned at a time, but if you ever wanted to change the variety of songs you had you'd have to eat a song consumable and the last song you learned would be wiped replaced by the new song, this way they could justify better more enticing buffs on top of adding more strategy to the system instead of a simple click and hit system.
Well, she still is just that however. They didn't change her at all essentially and I can guarantee that the majority of casuals will just forget anything about her changes.
I feel this is too similar too the wendy rework. I get its different via ability, but the reworks seem to now be, add characters own crafting section, give them a meter that works with there ability they originally had, and then fix issues with them, this isn't necessarily an ISSUE because the abilitys are all unique though.
But for what reason at the end of the day? I absolutely agree with you, however in context these changes mean absolutely nothing. Hence why many don't view this as a rework at all.
When I watched the animation for the first time and it got to the literal anime fight scene I thought for sure that it confirmed combat abilities but...
Just a note, you should base wigfrid near spiders (not so close that they can roam into your base, but close enough) Her drain ability almost completely counteracts the negative effects of cooked monster meat.
Yeah, to be honest this was the first rework that didn't feel like a "rework." With all the characters before, it felt like their whole playstyle was changed (Woodie starving after leaving were-forms, Warly requiring crock pot foods, etc.) This just feels like Klei tacked on an extra thing to Wigfrid.
I'll need time to really formulate an opinion (especially if they rework their rework which they have done each and every time now) but I agree, it just feels like they threw crap in and said, "Here, do things, but you can't do them on your own terms all that much. Have fun!".
The rude interlude will be PERFECT for drawing the agro of big bads since she gets more inspiration from those anyways. Also helpful for koalaphant hunts which is a go-to meal for Wigfrids.
@@AlejandroHernandez-cw7pv and it's useless against hounds because when they attack you not gonna have inspiration to use and even if you use chester to charge if you don't have anything to attack right after would go to zero in a matter of seconds inspiration should go down slow or she should have some warm up songs to her voice who are not infinite.
@@yuriaugusto1084 Exactly, at least the inspiration should also go up when you take damage; that way we can have at least more chances to activate the songs.
I wish they could've at least added an armor for the chest slot that can only be crafted by Wigfrid, I mean she already has the battle spear and Helmet, they should add an armor for a complete set And since she is a combat type Klei shouldve added a more diverse fighting style for Wigfrid instead of just tanking and kiting , for example Wheeler's (from Hamlet) dodge mechanic should be given to Wigfrid in DST But I still love the buffs that this update came with
Agreed. When in the short they showed a close-up of a viking shield mounted on her wall before panning down to her iconic battle spear, I thought for sure that this meant that she was getting a shield that she could equip with, oh, I dunno, _her other hand_ perhaps?? Nope. But yeah, something exclusive for the body slot would've been nice, to split durability loss from her helm. Armor doesn't stack in DST (only durability) so it's not like it would be game-breaking or anything. The most frustrating thing is, the shiny new skin set (which is super sweet though, I do gotta say) includes a _purely cosmetic_ piece of body armor. What a tease! At least we can also get a spiffy re-skin for the marble suit...
Good grief, no Wigfrid does NOT need Wheeler’s dodge mechanic. Most characters in DS/DST are designed for one favored fighting style alone, and that’s fine. Wheeler only gets that dodge mechanic because she’s fragile. If Wig had it, she’d be so broken it wouldn’t even be funny.
Honestly feels more of putting in more 'Character' in Wigfrid by letting us utilize the stage performing side of her. Not really a 'rework' as it feels like something to make her much more unique. And I think a change would I would suggest is you get more inspiration per hit if there are more players around Wigfrid and tweak a few of the songs to have more appealing effects.
The timer and drain of the Inspiration meter may need another look at as well, it's pretty unencouraging to see any potential wasted when in reality, most of these buffs won't come into play in casual experiences.
The weapon durability one seems super useful for sure. I am curious of the agro , since it's only a cast, is just until someone else hits the mob and takes it back? I would have liked to see a more, stand your ground or all out attack kinda thing for her personally. Even if they have to remove her base attack and defense resistances. I always thought she only got the attack bonus with her character specific helmet anyway ( which I know isn't true). They definitely should scale up some bosses with more players if they are going to keep the concept of group play viable and not just become easier with more people.
My fear is that more people just negates her potential, and it is this very potential that Klei wants to give to MORE PEOPLE. It's a closed loop that is net zero.
@@TheBeard777 hmm that is true. Even fighting solo there isn't a huge gain from her new songs. It's fun in concept but unless they have plans to add a method for giants to get stronger the longer your game becomes, it does seems pointless
this power it's only usefull against bosses you can't never activate fighting noramls mobs i had to kill almost 20 spiders to get enough inspiration by this time my spear was 150 and i had already killed all the nests in the area and people don't fight bosses with casual weapons it's always the top tier or hambat so it's preety bad.
Wig may have come earlier than I thought by quite a bit. this was soon after the earthquake (caused by Maxwell's performance) making her possibly one of the earlier survivors. Id say walter is from the late 50s to mid 60s making him possibly the newest in the constant. it also seems time flows very oddly in the constant and maybe even fluctuates\ EDIT: this may have something to do with the nature of the constant and "them" it seems "they" are the real ones who are in control and leave manipulating whatever dimension they made to a being on the nightmare throne. As a side point it seems 'Them" could refer to either 2 separate factions (Ancient light wielder and ancient dark wielder) or a force that controls both
the Heal Buff would be nice for Wormwoods if you ask me since they wouldn't have to use so much Manure and the like to heal up after a fight but if your also thinking that way it could be nice for a Walter to slow his sanity drain if he does get hit
Shes an actress/ opera singer. How about her changing into new stage characters. Phantom of the opera springs to mind. Any other opera characters she can play that might be fun and give her new abilities?
The Klei call it 'refresh". They understand that is not rework. It was dangerous ti change her, cause she is good and strong. This way was wrong but safe, it's impossible to make her better
You know what would be interesting to see??? We have characters that change up foods. We have characters that need those foods to reach their peak strength. We have characters that need weapons to reach their peak, but no character to change up weapons. What do you guys think about a blacksmith character like warly? He would have a portable forge like warlys croc pot, he would have a portable sharpening stone, like warlys spice grinder, he would have a entire new weapon and weapon tab like how warly has a entire new food tab.
Yeah this rework is a bit lackluster, but I think it's pretty experimental. I was really wondering how they were gonna change Wigfrid so I would have felt it strange whichever way it went. I think it's probably subject to tweaking!
The one thing I never understood is why didnt Klei make her sing in the first palce? Even if she's not my favorite still she is a performer who plays a Walküre so I never understood why she didn't sing before (Winter's Feast song doesn't count)
here is something you missed the last 2 instand use songs DONT effect any boss alsol the taunt song will make neutrall creatures like pigs angry at you
Are you sure? The de-agro one sure as the only item to manage that (albeit for a literal second) is the tail o' three cats but the agro one looked to work on a treeguardian for me, perhaps it's just the BIG bosses you mean?
@@TheBeard777 i only dit try that on deerclops and i saw no efects on him that apears over the heads of the creatures if you use one of the 2 instand songs
An idea for a future video. Consider doing a guide or quick tips video on DS solo. Make a character guide that tells people how to play someone like Willow or Woodie in DS solo. I find unless I red up on the wiki for the game info is lacking on the wide web.
Im happy they didnt nerfed my favorite.:) This rework is possible help on that weeks who didnt start with she..:p also they can come to scavange or help kill "boss" mobs.So not bad rework. on solo i think i use dmg buff max, anothers not a big deal..:)
I'm guessing the Weaponized Warble doesn't work on the Ham Bat? The fire one is okay I guess...if it does work for Overheating. I thought the Soliloquy would scare enemies away or have them lose aggro and return to where they were...I was close. I would've liked it more if it scares them smaller enemies away completely. It would be very useful against Spider Queen and other enemies with minions. But overall I love it. I love this game!

Yeah... and it is very intriguing to think that Maxwell took form in the, for lack of a better way to phrase it, "human realm".... Hm...
(Similar to Woodie's faster chopping)
Idk, I do feel like Wilson should have something to do with Science though.
Or just fighting Klaus...
Insulating Intrada... sounds nice
LETS GOOOOOOO ALL WIGFRID MAINS RISE UP WE WILL TAKE OVER THE DST WORLD

4th. I actually like this rework. Weaponized Warble helped me Kill Dragon Fly Faster.
Don't get me wrong, the rework is okay - it's just not a rework really... you know what I mean? :D
They added stuff and can be taken or left with either choice not really mattering to the other, and that to me is not really a way to give a beloved character the love she deserves.

I want a Webber rework that adds the power to build the other spider dens and maybe even new ones
Well my friend we have still have much time left to wait

Maybe a spider domestication mechanic that creates a new spider breed that's non hostile to all players?
He can build
@King Doge Webber can build teir 2 and teir 3 spider dens by adding more silk to them.
Him: And they're all infinite use.
Me: !?
Is that you questioning what that means or...?
It's a true statement, you craft one and it's done.
He's just saying he's suprised they are infinite use, especially since there aren't many things like that in the game.
Oh good, I thought they were really expensive, but now I know why
That’s good bc they are pretty expensive and if you have to craft a new one every time would be ridiculous
"Throw a verbal tomato " XD
I know this comment and video were from 2 years ago and I apologize for the notification but seriously, I cannot agree more DX
I was a Wig main before the lunar islands, before this rework, before a lot of things and this is exactly how it feels.
The songs just are not worth it.
so she's kinda a bard and a warrior at the same time..... cool!
@@dylanw.1740 Stop.
@@dylanw.1740 Yeah i could definitely see that. I dont really ever play wigfrid that much and probably wont because i feel that she is just kind of a boring character to play and this rework did nothing to help that
What's funny is that I got the short as an ad on the video lol
Wow, that's quick and proper advertising right there!
Thanks for the Guide Beard!
I kinda like Wigfried , so im happy at she got rework
As long as you enjoy it that is all that matters!
Op tank plus buff = a Wigfrid god
The fact that i got the Wigfrid update commercial after your video did make me laugh.
Bro I don't play Wig, but my friend that does like crapped himself when he saw the rework
I love the spider just sleeping at 7:08 while his friends get murdered
I like this guy, he makes it seem exciting and fun. Should be a radio person.
I agree with you beard, this whole thing seems to be more of a mega buff than a rework. Still, I like it tho.....just not sure if this is ok.
Hey, as long as you like it, that is all that matters.
I am starting to hop onto that boat myself nowadays, especially after this one.
@@cookieelement3467 absolutely
Also, Cookie, that's not the point they are making I believe - at least that's not how I took it. We aren't talking the overall reworks themselves, we're talking about just how everything just gets dumped into yet another tab.
@@TheBeard777 Exactly
I think she should have a battle cry that allows her and her allies to glow slightly in the dark (for cave situations)
Wigfrid has become a warrior bard from dnd
Been a Wigfrid main for a while. Rework looks like a lovely addition of mechanics to spice things up!
Well then I hope you enjoy it, friend!
Super Neat seeing Klei Tap into wigrids actor side! Its a neat little character trait to explore.
since the others are getting reworks then they should give Wolfgang a rework which would allow him to befriend hounds... y'know the wolf in Wolfgang... Also maybe add 3 different favorite foods? it makes sense since he has 3 different stages of himself
Klei should make the basilisk creature something that can show up if wigfrid is following tracks for a hunt, and it should drop papyrus nightmare, fuel and maybe monster meat.
A hunger regen buff would've been excellent for Wolfgang + Wigfrid combos.
I love it because Wigfrid was too simple for experienced players. Now she’s a true battle companion, not just a helmet slave.
Well, she still is just that however. They didn't change her at all essentially and I can guarantee that the majority of casuals will just forget anything about her changes.
Hey that helmet looks much better than the football helmet, so win-win.
I feel this is too similar too the wendy rework. I get its different via ability, but the reworks seem to now be, add characters own crafting section, give them a meter that works with there ability they originally had, and then fix issues with them, this isn't necessarily an ISSUE because the abilitys are all unique though.
She is the true bard-barian!
:D
Perhaps they should have no drain out of combat and instead have them all like the rude interlude
Could work, I could see it having potential in that way, yes!
This is perfect I can never beat monsters and wigfrid would be a good choice for me so this is great
I legit got the Klei wigfrid rework ad on this video- right before! They know and they’re preparing me lol!
Before I play the new update, I watched this just to know what I'm getting into. Thanks beardy!
Thanks for watching, friend! Hope you enjoy it!
It's Wigfrid still so there's that!
I saw the trailer and it WAS AWESOME
It was a good one, yes!
Not gonna lie I was expecting a bit more RIP damage boost song that would let Wolfgang and wig gel so well
I was hoping for that as well, mostly cause then I could've done a video with synergies!
in retrospect them playing it safe makes a lot of sense, wigfid did not really need a rework, so this was more of a formality than anything
But for what reason at the end of the day? I absolutely agree with you, however in context these changes mean absolutely nothing. Hence why many don't view this as a rework at all.
I would like to see some kind of special attacks with her spear similar to Forge attacks.
When I watched the animation for the first time and it got to the literal anime fight scene I thought for sure that it confirmed combat abilities but...
Let's hope for working reworked Wigfrid rework.
The Bardbarian we all needed on our parties.
Just a note, you should base wigfrid near spiders (not so close that they can roam into your base, but close enough) Her drain ability almost completely counteracts the negative effects of cooked monster meat.
Wigfrid, the character that is a human radio that is a vampire
Except that for the koalelephant you first need to hit it to have the inspiration to actually play the song, which defeats the whole purpose.
@@AlejandroHernandez-cw7pv true I guess it's a catch 22 in a way.
I wish they could've at least added an armor for the chest slot that can only be crafted by Wigfrid, I mean she already has the battle spear and Helmet, they should add an armor for a complete set
And since she is a combat type Klei shouldve added a more diverse fighting style for Wigfrid instead of just tanking and kiting , for example Wheeler's (from Hamlet) dodge mechanic should be given to Wigfrid in DST
But I still love the buffs that this update came with
If Wig had it, she’d be so broken it wouldn’t even be funny.
more reason for us to craft the pencil and wigfrid has more use on veggies, nice
Never thought of Wigfrid as an actor in a musical. Figured it would be a dramatic! Interesting...
Yeah, I haven't seen many others mention this very thing friend but you kinda hit on what I've been pondering this whole time too... :D
So Wigfrid has become a fighter and buff character nice
The last song have the same effect of Barbarian's Howl in Diablo II.
3:53 She... grows. Her back... grows... unnaturally...
odds are, if one of her songs gave her a dmg buff, they would have to remove her innate dmg buff from her kit, and that would piss people off.
It didn't need be to anything beyond 10% more and it would've been more than okay, especially when it would apply to everyone else around you.
Surprised there isn't a buff to reduce damage to the durability to your armor so you can face tank even more
It would be cool if wigfrid could have that shield with a new shield slot.
There is a workshop character called "the soldier" and the buffs that he can made are 100% better that the ones of wigfrid

They should have gained wigfrird a special shield slot and gaven her a shield

Wig may have come earlier than I thought by quite a bit. this was soon after the earthquake (caused by Maxwell's performance) making her possibly one of the earlier survivors. Id say walter is from the late 50s to mid 60s making him possibly the newest in the constant. it also seems time flows very oddly in the constant and maybe even fluctuates\
EDIT: this may have something to do with the nature of the constant and "them" it seems "they" are the real ones who are in control and leave manipulating whatever dimension they made to a being on the nightmare throne. As a side point it seems 'Them" could refer to either 2 separate factions (Ancient light wielder and ancient dark wielder) or a force that controls both
(Shh, don't tell anyone, but for the first time ever I will be doing a lore video centered on her short tomorrow!)
Oooo.. I'm exited!
Hey beard at the opening of the video you had taffy and jelly beans as alt foods for Wigfrid. She can eat the volt goat jelly too!
the Heal Buff would be nice for Wormwoods if you ask me since they wouldn't have to use so much Manure and the like to heal up after a fight but if your also thinking that way it could be nice for a Walter to slow his sanity drain if he does get hit
They have called every "rework" a "refresh"! :D
I get you but what you're saying means nothing actually.
Should have a shield song for burst defense used to parry boss hits. Just to hold your ground.

Even if she's not my favorite still she is a performer who plays a Walküre so I never understood why she didn't sing before

Weapons with no % durability do not get any bonus from the Weaponized Warble, no. At least not in my practice or in theory really! :D
