I'm studying a MA program at my 30s after a long delay to finish my BA theses. This video is such an enlightenment. Thank you! It's so down to earth, not like those sick productivity videos telling you to wake up 3 am to go jogging to India to get fresh fruit and save a dolphin before you go to bed.

Wait, did you NOT save a dolphin before you went to bed last night? SHAME.
Yea to be honest I do those early morning routines 1-2 times a week but that is really just so I can have some time for myself before gibing my time to other commitments.
I hope your program is going well!.

This is such an important thing to keep in mind, thanks for the reminder! Framing it like this ensures the process is a lot more rewarding and enjoyable.

I am honestly surprised how much you are getting done along with your PhD. I started following you when you were going to launch your startup. And I have been watching the videos and have noticed you accomplishing so many things. Attending conferences, taking classes etc and Making and editing videos, deciding the content, topic etc itself is a lot to do.
Inspired by you, I also started my channel during the lockdown last year, with the same intention as you, improve my communication. I couldn't be as regular as you are, and I respect your efforts. I don't think it's easy to manage everything.
Cheers! And all the best !

I'm starting my phd in a couple of months so this came right on time :) one of my main concerns is being able to still upkeep my hobbies, social life and youtube but still make the most of my phd experience

Well I really and truly believe that the best thing for your PhD is to do all of that stuff. Hobbies are immensely beneficial for your mind and a social life is key to avoiding burnout, and TH-cam is a very employable skill!
