@@HOPECOUNTYXY No, the black color is still visible as this is not an AMOLED screen. But I think the black is pretty low brightness black.

do you mean like VESA mount? I think this monitor only compatible with the stand that included in it

You need to apply some pressure on the thing around the blue thing around the monitor just push down on it but also make sure your other hand is at the other end of it

Luckly this is 27 inch. It depends on your needs, if you need the larger size, you should consider it. If your table is lack of space or wanna save some money, you can consider the smaller one
Would this work well with an Xbox series x for 1080p 120fps?
Yes, I’ve done research and it works on both ps5 and any Xbox 120 fps, due to it having a hdmi 1.4 port with supports 4k 30fps or 120fps 1080p, hope this helped 👍🏼

Hmm you can push it downward/upward after you install the monitor. The weight of the monitor is what keeps the spring stationary at a certain height.
Hello, there's not really a clear answer if the new version of the Odyssey G3 has ghosting (motion blur) or not, since you do seem to respond can you please answer this?
So far I use it for daily activities and gaming, there is no problem with motion blur on the screen. The ghosting effect is also very minimal, at least for me.
I saw that you must use it with an AMD graphics adapter to use AMD freesync feature of the monitor.

What kind of ghosting did you experience with your past monitor? So I hope I can show you in my review.
So far it has no duplicates frame and has fast response time. It runs smooth without any lag or ghosting.

LG gn 650 is better than this one. In every thing especially ghosting issue. There's a good video on it on TH-cam can't remember which channel. It's an Indian dude comparing both.

Hey , my g3 27” is low detailed and kinda blurry . Do u know how to fix .
From what I can tell is the monitor is to big for 1080p so it looks bad
How is your monitor connected to this device? Make sure the resolution and refresh rate are set correctly if you use a laptop or PC. I have seen something similar on other monitors, it turns out that I chose the refresh rate incorrectly, which appears blur and lacks detail.
How is the color accuracy?
Not so accurate, as this is a gaming monitor, but also not that bad. I still do color grading with this monitor

It was advertised that compatible with AMD FreeSync, but I'm Nvidia user and had no problem using it.

Yes as long as Xbox S has HDMI port in it. HDMI cable are sold separately.
I have a Samsung Odyssey G3 F24G35TFW. A year later, the refresh rate was covered. This is a frequent marriage with samsa on Odyssey r3, as it turned out. Not only dead pixels, but also this. Samsung changes such monitors, but those others also fly later on people. As a result, I managed to turn on 60Hz and now I have them instead of 144 (((
I highly recommend not buying this monitor.
I do have the same Odyssey G3 monitor 2021 variant , I have serviced it like 3 times already for the same display issue , the display just turns Black or random lines come, and only a horizontal line on the top of the display will be visible , now I've got the same issue again , it occurs in about 6-9 months of getting the display changed
The only fix was to run the monitor in 60hz anything above that will just turn the screen to the same problem as mentioned before
Hopefully they have fixed the issue in this new 2023 model
But it's soo sad for me to get struck with this problematic display 🥲

From the information I got, Xbox has no DP port, so you can use HDMI instead

Yes any console as a matter of fact because of the hdmi ports. You plug your hdmi on the back of the hdmi port on the back of it but if you don’t have a hdmi it’s fine because it come with one

Nope, you need DisplayPort to get this refresh rate. You can get up to 144Hz via HDMI

Don't buy samsung monitors ! 144hz doesn't work
It works. My laptop, which is connected to my monitor, operates at 144 Hz. My laptop would have a higher refresh rate up to 165Hz if it had a DisplayPort.
It depends on the computer, laptop, or console you're using. Additionally, they must able to handle a high refresh rate.
