hey jen and eric! just wanna thank you for this review! im so glad you did not left the keyboard test out! i got this mic because of you guys! cheers from Malaysia, stay safe! SUBBED!
Hey @Nividia I think these guys would be a good choice for a 3080-90 review...do it....send them some..! Also, considering the mic was plug and play, sounded good, add some filters and think would be pretty sweet. Also coming with all the accessories, price seems good.
Hey man! Thanks for your review! How does it do with the background noise in a noisy home? Like for example, kids playing, dogs barking and stuff. Thanks!
Since it is a condenser mic, it picks of BG noise if it's loud enough. For a more direct sound with less BG noise, I would suggest a dynamic mic like the Rode Pod Mic. It's just a bit more expensive ($100) but doesn't pick up as much BG noise as it is intended to be spoken pretty much directly into.
T683 works on PS4/PS5. But the downside is that if you plug the headset into controller, PS4/PS5 input and output will change to controller automatically. Thus, You are supposed to split the microphone feature from headset with a 3.5mm Female to 2 Male adapter, or simply use the earbuds which has two loops on its connector, then you're good to go.
In my opinion, they sound about the same. The T683 has a bit more of a full sound though. But if we didn't need two mics for our stream setup to run into a mixer, we would have gotten another T683 and started using them.
A proper USB mixer for recording on a computer with the least expensive price tag is the Behringer UM2, which alone is more than the T683 charges. And the BM 800 kits is around $35 so the total is around $115. But to be honest, even with a proper interface, the noise floor of the BM 800 is just not that good as a USB microphone. You would want a budget dynamic mic instead, then the cost will lower down to $100. But the high-end clarity of such a combination won't be as good as a condenser mic. Overall the BM 800 setup can't beat the T683 in terms of sound quality.
Yes, but you need a proper adapter, especially for iPhone, you need the adapter from the official Apple store. But if you plan to record music only with your phone, then we recommend a mic that is designed for the phone in the first place. The K690 is a computer mic first, then it's a mic that can be used with the phone.
T683 is suitable for vocals, so it definitely works for capturing your streaming voice. But if you are in a noisy gaming environment, I recommend you to conceder dynamic mic such as K658 or k651 to get much less distracting sound into your streaming.
Hi Chaska, it really depends on your applications. If it's about streaming, the T669 is pretty good enough, there's no need to spend the extra. But if you mainly want to do recording or the mute button is necessary to your streaming, then just go for the T683, which will definitely give you some better experience.
@@FIFINE thank you this might seem really confusing i am actually buying a mic for loud micing and maybe youtube things and fifine mics are apparently very good for loud micing as well as the blue mics
If you connect your earphone to the monitoring jack on the mic, there should not be noticeable latency. If you don't need to hear your voice, then just connect the earphone to the 3.5mm jack of your computer, and set the computer's built-in speaker as default. If you do want to listen to yourself while using the mic, please plug the headphone into the mic and then test out the audio on another computer to see if you still hear the echo.
I think we are pretty good at tech reviews! SEND US MORE STUFF!

How do I stop this mic from picking up everything in my room. Yes I have messed with settings in windows and mic gain. Seems not to work..
Will this mic work on the ps5? I want to use it as a mic and my headset to listen to my games
The Amazon listing says it is compatible with PS5.

Yes. T683 is suitable for Streaming/Podcast/Voiceover.

Whoops. Typo
I have a question do I need to keep the pop filter on ?
You don't have to but it definintly helps to use it.
Would it sound nice while streaming in ps5 ?

would u say its better than t669
Unfortunately, this is our first experience with a FiFine mic so I can't really say. I can only say that this one is pretty good quality!
