I have rented a condo in Lumpini Park Rattanathibet in Nonthaburi: 23m2, 24/7 security, big pool, large gym, monthly rent: 4800 THB (including communal fees). When I moved in at the beginning of 2017 I was the first tenant! Directly in front of my condo area there is Bang Krasor station of MRT purple line that will bring me to central Bangkok in less that 50 minutes.
I pay electricity directly to MEA and my bills have never higher than 1000 thb.
But I must admit that I have rented it unfurnished (but kitchen, aircon and bathroom installations were already there). I wanted to rent unfurnished because I don't like the crappy Thai furniture. And I rented that place for 3 years and paid 3 years in advance, and I always renew my contract by 3 years. That's why I got it so cheaply.

The first place was definitely the best. It had AC, was new and clean, and had a nice peaceful area around it (including the greenhouse). Thanks for this tour! If you are in Phuket right now, how's the rain? Worth a video to talk about it?
Do you know where you can find apartments like these? They don't seem to be in renting websites
@@user-dw4mz2cw1u I like like everywhere in the world, just roaming around and talking to people works for finding the "hidden" gems. There's another guy who does a lot of Thailand videos, and he rides his scooter everywhere and just stops anytime he sees an interesting (homemade) room/apartment rent sign. Then he asks to see it, and he films it. Of course we don't know how many times he fails doing this since those don't make the video :).

My wife and I moved to Chalong about two months ago and it was so cool to see you in places we walk by every day. We live in one of the Tower condominiums and walk by the 2500 baht place and the mini Big C all the time. Keep making great videos, we are enjoying your drive through Cambodia now.

Hi! Any chance you could check out the price of the best condo in for 10,000 baht. Preferably two bed fully furnished possibly more extras included ( water, electricity, cable, wifi). I know somethings usually are extra, but now is a good time to hammer home excellent deals.

You have to pay 3 months plus a down deposit! Even in America they don’t charge those fees. I get a check every month but we don’t pay three months plus another month for a deposit. I paid approximately 6,000 rmb every three months which is an excellent price in Hangzhou China and very cheap! Hangzhou has over 12 million people and I lived in the city. What’s the price in Chinese RMB ( Peoples Money), British pounds or American dollars? What if I want to pay month to month rent and put down a deposit. Even in my mainland China you don’t pay that much to move in. Correct me if I’m wrong! I appreciate your video and correct me if I’m wrong please tell us people who have not lived in Thailand a proximity of the cost besides Thai money. I paid every three months my total rent which was about 853 US Dollars and I lived in a high rise. you use the equivalent in American dollars and English pounds please! I don’t know Thai money exchange . I speak fluent Chinese but I don’t know your money exchange.Thank you for your rather informative video. I know if I did a video in RMB you’d have no idea what the costs would be. It is a myth Pattaya is cheaper than Phuket. Just more bars in Pattaya. Pattaya charge bigger money for slums.

Great vlog Gabi! Just done a deal in Samui for couple of months at The Replay condominium. Came to 9000 a month. Which is pretty good for the place with the largest pool on the Island (2 pools, gym, proper tv channels, kitchen, washing machine, big fridge, microwave, wifi, ac/fan). Have you been there? Good one. I like apartment prices & food. I'm retired & have no particular destination in mind, today. So I like checking out various locations throughout the country & within specific locations. So I like find a low rent place to hang my hat while checking out options. It's really unbelievable how low rent is for a clean, often new, apartment. I don't need a pool or gym. Don't mind walking up stairs or to store or transportation. Don't care if nobody speaks English. An apartment is a place to sleep & a little cooking. I'll b checking you out. 👍🇹🇭🏠

For the $ those places r acceptable & fair, but after watching scores of videos on Thailand: Chang Mai, Bangkok, & numerous other places it blows my mind to see how much better the deals get. I've seen places of comparable prices, but even better amenities. Incredible!! I'm a patient man. I can plant myself somewhere comfortable & affordable until that little jewel comes along. I've seen what I consider palaces for under $500.

Actually if the room is looking to the North and not at the top floor, fan can be enough. When I had limited money I stayed in such a room for one year and it was OK. Of course as soon as I could afford one, I moved to a room with AC.
We live in Kamala Beach 3yrs now. Have taken the Smart Bus to Rawia several time and enjoy the area. It's time to leave Kamala!!!

best way to find them is always ON LOCATION!! on the internet you usualy find the more expensive places. At least thats my experience.

Really interesting video. Recently I was in mexico, so its interesting to compare, because mexico is also a developing country. For the same price as this in some places in mexico, what you can get is a simple room with a shared bathroom. So the value is obviously much better in thailand. And the quality of the construction and maintainance seems a lot better in thailand too.
I realize this isn't a video on food, but it couldn't hurt to list price. Good food!

Pattra Mansion in Phuket Town is 7000 Baht/month + electricity + water. There is also Rang Hill Residence for 7000 Baht including electricity and water, but swimming pool is not maintained, practically not swimmable.
