The LD1802 got my feet wet with RC drifting… been modifying my RX-7 for 3 months now! My chassis is all chewed up lol but it still works. Broke like 4 or 5 end rods lmao… and from there it was on! I hope to make a video or something soon to show my mods! Making custom rims & tires without a 3D printer is a nightmare. But worth it. 😂
I have the same electric screwdriver tool set. But I switched to the Injora tools because they are so much tighter and almost never strip out the screw or bolts. Pretty cool little drifter🤘✌️
Letss goo!!! Remember to set yoor endpoints again for your gyro with the uograde if u havent already. Idk if you seen but my ldrc wiith the brusless swap has been killing it at the track! Trying to get more local people on it
Ive purchased this same one and I've trying to find anywhere if it's possible to make it wink. I think I would have to open it up for that to happen though
Oooohh, I'm going to check that gearbox. I heard a funny noise about 2 minutes in. Where'd you get those wheels? Thanks again for another informative video.
wheels an tires are LDRC upgrade parts. I search aliexpress for deals. I seen these go up to ten bucks a set of four but most sellers have it for a little over five bucks. unfortunately the seller I got my parts from no longer sells these so I didnt post a link.
Question, what are the three connection wires coming off the motor, as the stock motor has only two thin wires and 1 connector. I'm new and wondering how to change that so I can get a brushless
brushed motors use two wires and brushless use 3 wire and sime and sensored so they have another separate wire harness for sensored duty. If you want to go brushless you would have to replace all the electronics. thats a new transmitter/receiver, brushless motor, electronic speed controller (esc), you can run stick batteries. All this would need to be wired up and some soldering would be needed for the project.
PLEASE HELP!!! The motherboard (1:00) Accidentally managed to reverse the positive and negative cables. What should I do? Should I buy a new motherboard?(Where?) If I buy a new one will it work with the original remote control?
You definitely need a new board. You have to get the same style board that came with yours so your original remote will work. Search on aliexpress for "ldrc parts".
unfortunately not. I got this motor in a trade 10 years ago and I dont even know the kv or anything. The motor is probably not in production anymore and they probably have a new version nowadays.
@@RunThatRC followed your kinda recomendation and went for the nsx gray so plastic lighter body with the new remote so new v4 board i am hoping. Has it is my first drifter i thought i follow your advice because you start with these so you know better then me what works best for beginner. I appreciate you took the time to give your opinion my friend. Keep up with the good content i will be watching for sure. Ricardo
My dasmikro arrived today and it just worked by turning the internal one to 0. I had the same question yesterday haha Also you would really notice the interference if both gyros were running -but I was wondering if there is a way to disable it properly

Awesome! I was waiting for this video!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Nice bodywork
It'll be dope if there's 1:18 scale drift car comp
The guys in the Phillipines have been doing it!! Kinda nuts tbh
@@MooseRidez I'm in the Philippines and not aware of that

you would need to modify it with individual servos. The stock pop up setup has one servo controlling both headlights that are linked together.
Where u bought wheels?
aliexpress. Just search LDRC and they pop up.

Hello and thanks for the instructional video, I want to ask you what size motor fits inside this 1:18 scale rc's?
30mm diameter can I believe and depends what body will determine how long the can has to be.

yo how do you disable the ldrc internal gyro so i can put my dasmikro on it? or i just set the internal gyro to 0?

@@marcel3548 nice tysm for letting me know
yup unfortunately setting the knob to 0 is the only way I know of to turn it off on the newer models.
What is the size of the original motor?
original motor is a 150 size can.
@@RunThatRCI mean the length and diameter of the motor. Can you measure it for me?Thanks for the feedback!
