Thanks for this video. I just got the blue Miata, and while I'm waiting for the paint to dry(gotta have a red one, like my full size NA) I can do all this suspension stuff! Gotta get another one, cause when friends come over, it's no fun with one!
Bro thanks for the tips on stance...now we need a video on how step by step Brushless motor installation..and then we who have no clue can drift like you😂 by the way lm 52 young in heart and dont want to grow old atleast mentally 🤪👍🏻
watched all two times and still can't get how you got the 'sag'. I have to remove those lower control arms 'stoppers' and get proper stiffness of the bar to get finally proper right hight 'thru' the stiffness? Or remove the stoppers, get a ride hight thru bending just on the radious of the bar, and at the end adjust the stiffness?
Nice video helped alot! I just got the silver r34 (my first rc) so i am very green. I opened it up adjust the toe and camber. Put it back together to test but now the car wont go in reverse and wont respond to throttle. If i pick it up and put it on the ground sometimes it will accelerate for a short moment then stop again. Did i break or mess with something without realising? Any suggestions would be much appreciated
I didn't post any links because they are no longer available from the sellers I got mine from. They have a ton of listing just be sure to do your search for those deals.
@@RunThatRC thanks bro I just got mine from Temu for $55. I already have the Mazda but the wheels are to slick for my floors. Do you have any wheel recommendations?
Ordered a couple, made the mistake of getting the black one as I didn't want the fast and furious one, what a crap car and controller. Rubber wheels, no gyro, other inferior aspects as well. Blue one is fun though. I'm trying desperately to get a replacement due to false advertising, rubber wheels is not a drift car, and no gyro when advertised with one. I purchased plastic wheels, waited for them only to find the servo doesn't work, still no replacement. Pay attention when ordering to avoid disappointment. Get one of the newer releases, they have an upgraded electrical board also (red is new I believe, older ones are a dark colour). I can't wait to get this sorted and start doing what you're doing, driving and modifying.
definitely the newer ones (blue and silver gtr, and miata) have better electronics. The fast and furious one you can use rubbing alcohol to remove the blue graffix it wont damage the silver paint. These are so awesome to mess with.
Hey buddy new to your channel was looking for something little more drift realistic so i purchased the ldrc rx7. Installed the same gyro you used. The turning is super super jittery. Even with factory gyro disabled. What did i do wrong.
@FatBlueLine6217 check to make sure your front tires are spinning freely and make sure camber and toe is the same on both sides. Also you have 2 setting for the DasMikro gyro. Counter clockwise from zero has a fast return vs clockwise gain from zero. Check those and hopefully it helps.
Hi man, I want to ask a question. I want to buy one of these cars, but I can't decide. I like the ae86, but its old controller and other things confuse me. Tell me, which of all the models is the best in control, which one is better to buy? P.S. My English is bad, so the comment is written through a translator.
I like the new Mazda Miata and GTR they have the newer electronics. The new gray mazda rx7 also has upgraded electronics. I would choose between those. The ae86 is nice but harder to drifer because it's narrow compared to the others and makes it more twitchy.
The newer models seem to have completely updated electronics with better gyros. I would only purchase the ones with the new more standard looking controller. The new gray rx7, pink and blue miata and blue and silver gtr all have the newer electronics.
I had a set that was tight to get on but haven't had an issue fitting them. Had to press them on with a little force, they will get loose after a couple of installs.
These cars are great! one showed up here and I'm sure we'll have to get a couple more. Great info🤙
definitely can be more fun when you have a couple sliding around together.

definitely more fun with more drifting around.
Great video. I just got the rx7 and I'm waiting for my dasmikro v5 to show up. I'm still working on getting my suspension dialed in.
The Dasmikro will complete that car.

I installed a brushless system on the miata and its the same chassis. I know the video wasn't too detailed but you can see how easy the swap was.
@@MuscleAKAOzzy right there with you at 71! Lol
Amazing video and good sharing my friend ❗✨🤩
Thank you! Cheers!

I would just make sure you plugged everything back in the right place. Also make sure no wires are touching each other to cause a short.
How did you remove the blue stripes from the fast and furious skyline ?
90% rubbing alcohol.
im subscribed ❤❤

I wish they'd just go ahead and release the next 2 ..
👀 !
yes! I am also impatiently anticipating it.
What’s the wheel/tire specs so I can order some different kinds

@@RunThatRC ill have to see what you mean. It is like when you touch the gyro unit the tires flicker on their own.
@@RunThatRC now for some reason the car wont even turn on.

Where can I get different wheels for the Miata rc ?
search LDRC on aliexpress or ebay and you can find the ldrc upgrade wheels and tires.
Where can I get that size wheel design?
aliexpress. search LDRC and they should show up i. a couple styles.
Do they have different gyros?
The newer models seem to have completely updated electronics with better gyros. I would only purchase the ones with the new more standard looking controller. The new gray rx7, pink and blue miata and blue and silver gtr all have the newer electronics.
