Excellent Harry! great combination of DPM, Fleck and good old OD worked well in that environment and was a stealthy exercise. Those burgers looked proper tasty 😋 Very nice stove too....all the better for it's first burn 😉 really enjoyed this, nice one and best wishes 👍

@@FlyingHaggisFilms british steel ones are thin on the ground, but you should be able to find dutch army stainless steel mess tins.

Good video Harry, keep your eyes open for the Dutch roll top mess tins, same as our's but there stainless and more robust than our ally ones 👌🏻👍🏻

    Oh those aluminium pans....
I´ve cooked so many meals on those and heated so much water for tea and coffee during my time in the Royal Danish Army.
We had, back in 2005 - 2007, much of the same stuff you, the British forces, had, almost the entire PLCE range, it wasn great, but it was good enough, just a bit heavy and bulky but not that bad.

Yes indeed, yet heavy kit is strong and dependable as well as affordable. I do love my German waterproof trousers so easy to take off and on. Harry....out
