Thanks Viola, indeed, anywhere far from the madding crowd even for a few hours is a place of beauty I guess.😎 Harry

It's always good to get out Harry, well said, even if it's just for 5 minutes on your own in some part of nature with minimal noise disturbance from cars and humans... Get out early in the morning if you live in a busy city...You'd be surprised how quiet cental London can be at sunrise 🌅

So so true 👍 and proper undetected stealth can take us into any land, at which point the land belongs to us. 😊

That is a nice, 'out of the way', forest you found there Harry. You are very lucky up in Scotland Harry; I do wish I still lived up north. I have noticed over the last few years 'wild camping', has gained in popularity, however many are not what you or I would call 'wild campers'. The litter left behind, whole tents, sleeping bags etc. is bad but the human waste etc. is worse and contaminates water sources and fire scars last for ages. Not to mention the sheer numbers of people; what were once a small tracks are now eroded 'motorways', across the landscape.
I sound like a right old moaner, I know! but making what is left of the last of the 'wild', places in England harder to access is probably not a bad thing; banning wild camping is probably a good idea. I pride myself on stealth and leave no trace....not even footprints if I can help it!
When I go away I like it to feel remote, isolated and special, however too often I feel I could get a 'wilder' experience in Richmond Park than many of the English National Parks.
I feel like I may have contributed by posting videos up and putting place names to locations in my own videos (I knw I'm not a big channel but word gets around) I don't want to encourage or inspire people to wild camp, certainly not to places I visit....I know I am quire selfish; but there just seems less and less 'wild 'places and more and more people.......one day I fear it will all be the 'English City', all concreate and tarmac something like Hong Kong is now;.... what is so special and beautiful about these places is what leads people to them and their ultimate destruction.
......................Rant over! sorry if I've gone off on one. Best wishes Harry and take care.....bye the way that lamb soup looked lovely!

Well said Gillian, my sentiments also. I take comfort in knowing that we small band of stealthers are on the same page in that we know how to look mercinary, a peculiarity that must un nerve jo public if they should ever stumble across our path, then finally, when we have made the effort to go where others dare not tread , our reward is divine solitude where our stillness is welcomed by the rush of air through trees, the melody of distant birds, and the silent visitation by the solitary Robin as we become one with the innocence of the forest. Let's keep our camo, skills, and love of the natural world which in generosity inclines our inner conciousness to experience a deep awakening. Harry...out

I do enjoy your vids 🎉 Looking forward to when you head out for a wild camp 👌🏻
Sadly the problem, be it with van campers or wild campers, is humans - well the minority, but nonetheless humans 😢

Yes, it may be a wee while yet as it is icy cold and snow on the tops still, then my sleep apnea dusorder and home pressures have to be negotiated but I usually manage a few nights out eventually. All the best. Harry

I was told there is no way I could park up in certain areas, but I always found I could. I was always quiet and respectful and never left anything in the way of damage or litter etc.... I think there is always a way, especially for wild campers like yourself

Thanks Bry 😊 so good of you. It is indeed true that common sense with a little diplomacy usually wins the hearts of most territoriality. I hope 🤣. Stay well. Harry

might seem odd, but part of me wants wild camping to be banned,
because i wouldnt stop anyway ... i have the skills to do it and not be detected.
I have seen countless camping locations i have used over the years wrecked by muppets having bonfires and leaving trash everywhere.

I'm exactly of the same opinion, special forces camping technique can set us apart. The worst that coukd happen is a fine on te unlikely event of being caught. The land belongs to us. 😊 💪

Don't mistake idiots wild campers as wild campers. That said, you have never rambled on, you have just stated fact. Your posts are very informative. Unfortunately the ban will come to the UK.

Thanks David, sadly, I feel you are right about a pending ban as society is declining. God, I hope things improve. All the best to you. Harry

The biggest problem nowadays Harry is peoples mentality and attitudes and their total lack of respect for nature and land, if someone dumped a load of crap/rubbish in their front gardens they wouldn't like it, but it's OK for them to leave the crap they carried in because they couldn't be bothered to carry it back out again 😠😠😠

Spot on mate, spot on. At least some of us know how to become sneaky in the field. 🤣
