    So when the tips of my thin brushes begin to warp and curve, you just cut them down? Trying to paint super fine detail makes me super nervous. I had a Spiderman vs Goblin model and was debating for days on whether I was going to attempt the lines- I decided to pass on it as the figures on the model are already pretty small. I didn't want to take the chance of making it muddy, but it's still bothering me that I didn't go for it.

    • @TheCreativeCollector
      @TheCreativeCollector  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Usually when the tips gets curvy and warp, it means your brush has had it. It could be that you're loading too much paint at the base of the brush and it dries or sometimes it just happens. I still use those brushes though! Sometimes you can use some brush soap and help straighten them out if you dry them inverted. Tamiya makes some great detail brushes as well. Check out the Amazon links in the description of one of my newer videos.

      The trick is to use some magnifying glass headset and a fine detail brush. I have to so I can see them. Makes it easier

      @@TheCreativeCollector I bought the same glasses you have to help. But still have trouble: I just ordered that fine brush you have tonight and the paint sets

      @thespider-mansanctuary632 You can also try a micron pen to place to dot in the eye as a starting point

    Awesome. So that is the use of watering down the acrylic. It drowns out the detail otherwise. It looks more easy control than air brushing. I am going to try doing an entire statue this way.

    It’s too cartoonish, I would suggest learning more from experts.

      You feel free to learn from whomever you want. I assume you're an expert then?
