Great video, thank you so much 🙏🏼🙌🏻 Quick question: When you layer the same (acrylic) paint over and over again, don’t you have problems the paints and thinners are being too hot and mix with the paint below?
Would You mind please describing the amounts of each colour You mix for Your flesh base tone please ? I ask as I have invested in the Jo Sonja acrylics and intend making a start this coming weekend ? Thank You .
Dear Sir , I am in the process of painting a 1/4 scale "Don Corleone" figure and am now ready to paint the eyes ..the irises are preformed into the resin ..do You have any advice how I may go about painting these please ? I would have preferred the eyes not to have been pre indented in this way but am trying to make a first class job ? thank You in advance , Steve ..

@@artee232 oh I just put in front of my hand, damn hard to record and paint at the same time, but it’s fun to share the painting process to everyone though 😅
Thank you for the guide for beginner, i will try to follow your step for my first head sculpt paint. By the way any other band of color do you recommend to use? cause jo sanjo is hard to buy in my country
Thanks for watching bro~ not really a guide, just painting sharing 🫣😅 Hmmm, Jo Sonja hard to buy from country too, so I got it from China, you can try… if not… Vallejo or Citadel are okay too, but remember to make it very very watery/thin to paint it slowly ya
It looks great bud, very realistic and natural. I assume that those paints are acrylics right? If that's the case, what did you use for thinning them? just water or airbrush thinner? What ratios? Thank you! PS: I'm the one that purchased the 1/4 Samus! it's gonna take a while to paint, i have other projects laying around.
I think so, because I know they’re water based paint… for thinning is using just water, ratio wise I don’t know, just dip my brush into water, bring it out, and mix with the paint on the painting palette 😅 Yeah! Can’t wait to see your final paint works bro!! 🥳🥳🥳
Great, thanks bud. Gonna see if i can get some heads for practice. I have another Samus in scale 1/6 but it's more like a Japanese garage kit/PVC figure so this effect doesn't look good. Maybe to the other STL that i want to print, the one that i told you some days ago, can have some extra heads like this one for practice 😗
hey i have an female asian head sculpt and i'm having a hard time to paint an realistic skin as i see the way to paint male to female is not the same, do you have any video to recommend me? is my first headsculpt i'm painting for a custom action figure

Sorry, wrong vid
Hi is there a specific number of paint layers should apply use when painting a head sculpt, or is 1-2 layers enough to hold and last?
Usually I paint 3-4 layers for the base colour ~ too watery and thinned can’t really cover up my grey primer at bottom
Did you use varnish after primer to seal it?
Nope~ only glossy gel on the eyes…
Thank you
Very helpful, great video 👏 new sub here

cool were do you get the heads from
From the mighty China shopping app, Taobao 😅
