Total rip off. It doesn’t cost $22,000 to make that. People buy with their wallets and not their ears. NOT IMPRESSED!

Agree to Disagree - for clarity the average audio product cost around 25% of its list price to make - then is marked up to 50% of if list for the dealers whom end up selling it for around the list price. This is what it takes to create, distribute and have them on display for audition. If you have ever bought bottled water or a Starbucks coffee your the one who is getting ripped off - not the audiophile that purchases these wonderful speakers

@@theaterboyeBay Not so long ago there was no need to debunk the myriad of myths surrounding the audio (especially high end) industry which was once based on objectivity and the scientific method. When distortion, response and noise were no longer issues even in the most modestly priced hardware, the high end segment had to rely upon cock & bull BS in order to justify its "raison d'etre". Those engaging in this type of activity might well be described as "audio whores" who, rather than educating, instead choose to exploit the underinformed. Well I guess the economy needs its sheep and those taking advantage of them would've made Jordan Belfort proud.

@@omgwtfpwnd I would agree that the High End Audio industry has changed for the worse in the value for money spent proposition at the high end. But I think you are missing the factual point I am making. Your vitriol for the Audio Manufacturers seems a bit over the top. Fortunately there is more affordable budget high end audio gear these days then ever - which give folks who can't afford the very top tier gear most of what the very best offers. People with the resources to buy a $50,000.00 Hermes purse think its worth it. I hope you would not argue that a 50K high end speaker or amplifier is not a better value then a hand bag at the same price. So I get that you would not buy a 22K bookshelf speaker but I don't see why you want to dismiss people who do as foolish. We all get to spend are hard earned dollars any way we want - so try to not take this stuff so seriously
