I like your videos, and the sound quality is very good for youtube, but I'd love it if you recorded more time in the sweet spot. Maybe put a stationary mic there and then do a fly by of the gear, so the audio is always in the sweet spot.
Thanks for your comment. I think that a stationary mic in the sweet spot would make the "you are there sensation" to be lost. Experience taught me that in a TH-cam video, walking around the speakers gives a better idea of how a speaker sounds. I usually use the sweet spot position only for direct speakers comparison. However i will take in consideration other respectable opinions, like yours.
@@SoundSommelier I agree, moving around does give us a hint of the size of the sweet-spot and imaging. its not perfect obviously, but its useful information that otherwise we wouldn't have if the camera was stationary.
As incredible as they sound here on TH-cam, I have heard them in person because my dealer sells Sonus Faber and they sound even better in person. These speakers are expensive but utterly incredible, simply breathtaking.
To think there is now an even better version of this speaker in the Sonus Faber Olympica Nova 1. Just imagine how good that one is. It is on my shortlist of speakers for the next audio upgrade.
