Do compression tests and check for low compression on each cylinder. Check spark plugs for oil on tip to confirm blow by. Issues could be rings, gaskets or even vacuum leaks. Stay thirsty my friends.
The valve is located inside the whole cap so i replaced it but still the same problem. Consumption of oil at 12k km around 1l. I'm guessing I'm going to need new rings 🙂
Hi, i have a f30 330d n57, 5w30 oil consumption until min short time after change, added 5w40 and oil level always at max, no loss of power but small amout of vapor coming out of dipstick and cap, very tiny pressure, any guess ?
In other words if it comes out dipstick and oil filler hole the smoke is in lower and upper part of engine hints piston ring he checked if it was pcv it smoked there too meaning it’s not pcv and it has flow

Put the 5w30 back
With 5w30 still oil vape and my car has 194.000 km
Check the PCV valve
What if there's no smoke just a little oil
But what if it's just a little bit of smoke.
If it's just a little smoke and it doesn't come out with pressure, in principle, there's nothing to worry about.
