You can see that her clothes are functionals for her rol but also to make her feel good about her self.
Not all the looks make sense to me, but her basics-bras, miyaki shorts- really do. I just can't look away from her gorgeous face, btw. Her energy is a delight.

When I was working as a sales assistant, one of the most common things women would ask for help for, was to find a nice dress for a formal occasion that would still allow them to breastfeed their baby. I loved assisting women who experienced body changes. It was so great to send them out of the door, seeing that they felt confident in themselves, whether it was motherhood, illness, handicap, career change, gender transition, weight gain or weight loss that they were struggling with. What drove me absolutely crazy (and one of the reasons why I quit) was that whenever I had a meeting with the area retail manager, who would participate in buying for the store, he would always talk as if all our customers are skinny 18year olds. When I pressed him on, who he imagines walks into our store he started talking about prices. As if he thought he could intimidate and confuse a young woman with numbers. I just think it's great to see someone with legs/hips/booty like mine. I hate to say it, but sometimes being plus sized or even just XL forces you to create your own sense of style and be mindful about it. It takes effort even to just balance everyday pieces.
I genuinely appreciate celebrities and individuals in general who are comfortable showing their personality. It matters in the modeling world to be "visually pleasing" and it's a benefit that Ashley is BEAUTIFUL but her personality shines through everything. But also don't go hating great models for not having a personality. They're also just doing their job and "working with what the gods gave them". Some of them might simply be more reserved because at the end of the day we are all human.
I’m about her size and know a few of her tricks but I also learned some new ones now thanks to her. She is delightful and absolutely fabulous (as is Luke).
As someone that is plus size i really do appreciate you being able to critique all the looks in a very constructive way but also being so empowering and having body representation, will definitely have to think about tailoring pieces that i want to feel the most comfortable in. Also that last look was absolutely stunning and her confidence about it was truly inspiring, also i would die for the Vivianne Westwood bustier!
I think it’s amazing how well you understand fashion for people with completely different bodies/lifestyles/needs than your own. It totally makes me respect you as a critic.
While I might not like every outfit, I like the thought she put into every look. And that this wasn't just a look book but an insight into her shopping philosophy with advice that maybe we can't replicate in terms of designers, but in terms of practical policies
This is one of my favorite videos you’ve done! I love your commentary, and especially love the level of familiarity she has with her clothes, and that she’s willing to mix high-low beautifully and wear what suits her body instead of pushing a size. Stretching boots, now that’s a really great tip! I never leave comments, but I just wanted to say thank you for your insight!
I’ve always loved AG since I first saw her coming out on the runways as a high fashion plus sized model. She’s just so real and down to earth and just such a great woman to look up to. Exudes inner and outer beauty

Being a plus sized woman in her 50's I like clothes in fashionable styles but rarely find what I want in my size even in the 2020's! But Ashley's ideas of having leather boots stretched at the calf, excellent, I never would have thought of that! Plus having an extra panel added to pants, what a good idea! And buying vintage dresses and taking it apart and using the tops of skirts seperately, brilliant, that would not have occurred to me either tbh. I will be taking a lot of what Ashley said and using it as my new 'go to' information to help make shopping for what I want, a whole lot easier. Using these rules should make shopping fun again. Thank you Luke and thank you Ashley! One other thing I loved about Ashley is that she TOTALLY LOVES HER CURVES! I will have to try looking at myself that way too, again thank you Ashley Again thank you Luke for posting this video, it was very helpful. Stay safe Luke, and hopefully stay well too. God bless you.
I just finished your last video and this comes out immediately after?! You are a blessing 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Edit: and I'm so excited to see what Ashley Graham pulls off!
Green is a hallmark of her wardrobe. Her take on fashion is a common philosophy of the 40s & 50s where men and women had access to tailors because suiting was common in day wear. Men and women alike can take from this video is getting into tailored clothing. Rule of thumb: if a piece is at least 2 sizes too small, then you can definitely buy it. My mom has had me sew modesty panels into high slit dresses of hers for personal comfort. Her philosophy is great and her approach to texture is interesting, with guidance; she could really stir up the fashion world.
I love her logic behind picking out pieces and how thorough her explanations are! The interview look definitely caught me off guard-not because it's bad, but my "model uniform" for every interview/go-see/etc. is usually business casual or monochromatic black if multiple ppl from my agency are coming at the same time, so it's different from anything else I've seen for a job-centered outfit. I love the Bottega top on her!
Another great video. I'm not crazy about almost all of these looks - not my taste - but I love how positive Luke is. He is such a talented commentator. Funny, intelligent, enthusiastic, and just so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for your fabulousness - you are the best!

Love how body-positive she is !!! she seems so positive about her body and kind to herself ! love her and that she is caring lube in her bad had me gagging !!
My biggest take away was learning that you can have leather boots stretched. I also have big calves and going up in size isn’t always the best option. Not to mention they don’t even make cute boots for big calves. This is a game changer for me. Plus I do have a good cobbler but I haven’t seen him in a long long time cuz of covid lol
I love that she's just taking joy in her wardrobe. Like she points out a detail and explains why she loves it and then just revels in her own vibe. So fun :)
I love that she has her own sense of style, even is she's a model it looks different from the same fashion trends we see all the time, and some pieces were really unique!
I get the Vans apprehension, but I gotta mention that in the same way your clothes don't fit right after a baby for a while, make that double for your feet. Lol. Ugh. Childbirth.
Ashley is such a breath of fresh air. Her personality speaks for itself. She's one of those people who could wear a garbage bag and look INCREDIBLE. Just saying.
Hi Luke I just wanted to tell you I love you and your channel/channel team so much I highly appreciate ur content and it makes me so happy! As a fashion student myself it’s amazing to have another outlet to learn

I just think it's great to see someone with legs/hips/booty like mine. I hate to say it, but sometimes being plus sized or even just XL forces you to create your own sense of style and be mindful about it. It takes effort even to just balance everyday pieces.
As the token fat girl in my friend groups, i have to the stylish and hottest person in the room.
@@aquariussolaris2492 - Uhoh! This token needs to step it up!
THAT SNORT WHEN HE SAW THE GLOVES 🤩🤩
I’m about her size and know a few of her tricks but I also learned some new ones now thanks to her. She is delightful and absolutely fabulous (as is Luke).
Imagine if we paid tailors and sewers so they could make a good living at it, bought fewer clothes and got them made to FIT us
As someone that is plus size i really do appreciate you being able to critique all the looks in a very constructive way but also being so empowering and having body representation, will definitely have to think about tailoring pieces that i want to feel the most comfortable in. Also that last look was absolutely stunning and her confidence about it was truly inspiring, also i would die for the Vivianne Westwood bustier!
it is kind of disturbing/off-balanced that she had gloves but no socks lol
She could have been wearing socks. She could be wearing the little loafer socks that don't come up to the ankle.
Agreed!
Be honest though - socks would not have saved that look
@@Artbug even though I LOVE the coat, I have to agree hahaha
Dude imagine wearing a 20th century ballgown and gloves and wearing socks with it, like no, theres no imbalance when you wear gloves, but no socks
I think it’s amazing how well you understand fashion for people with completely different bodies/lifestyles/needs than your own. It totally makes me respect you as a critic.
I like the fact that she doesn’t pretend to be a size she’s not. She’s real & she looks amazing 🤩
While I might not like every outfit, I like the thought she put into every look. And that this wasn't just a look book but an insight into her shopping philosophy with advice that maybe we can't replicate in terms of designers, but in terms of practical policies
I appreciate that luke acknowledged how much affect he has on people😂 8:00
Please do a video about outfits from “The Nanny”. I remember LIVING for Frans look when I was a kid
You need to react to the "Bling Empire" show's fashion as a continuation to your Crazy Rich Asians series, it's available on Netflix
working on a video now :)
omg yess im obsessed with that show i just started watching it yesterday and some of the clothes are... interesting lol. definitely over the top
@@hautelemode just a side note that it has a bunch of asian stereotypes

This is one of my favorite videos you’ve done! I love your commentary, and especially love the level of familiarity she has with her clothes, and that she’s willing to mix high-low beautifully and wear what suits her body instead of pushing a size. Stretching boots, now that’s a really great tip! I never leave comments, but I just wanted to say thank you for your insight!
You are literally the only channel I could listen to for hours straight😌 so well spoken and interesting!!
She has such a great personality, she gives tips, talks about being a mom with so much love and then she goes all out for her man, love her 💖
I’ve always loved AG since I first saw her coming out on the runways as a high fashion plus sized model. She’s just so real and down to earth and just such a great woman to look up to. Exudes inner and outer beauty
I'm not exactly savvy with fashion designers and high end labels or anything, but I really watching Luke comment and geek out over things... this reaction in particular was sooo entertaining and interesting! Thanks for the content Luke, we are all here for it!
Thank you Luke for normalizing breastfeeding moms!! This video was super uplifting and showed a really great example and role model for new moms to find joy and take pride in their postpartum bodies.... you are iconic in ways you don’t even know.
Sincerely,
A breastfeeding mom who didn’t realize how much she needed this video ❤️
We skipped Alexandra Wang heels 👏
Stan this man
Actually, Mongolia is an amazing place to visit for clothes/fabric/tayloring - have never been to another country where people as a nation are so into clothes! And the silks, and the cashmere..
Her voice is gorgeous, so lovely to listen to
“If you don’t want to buy a fucking Vivienne Westwood gown...”
I’m sorry, who in their right mind WOULDN’T want to buy a Vivienne Westwood gown? I’ve wanted to for my entire life I just still can’t afford to lol
Her style doesn’t really match mine but I LOVED this vogue 7-day video because it’s the first where you can actually see the persons personality. She seems so sweet and fun and she wears the clothes not the other way around
I don't think he reviews someone's fashion choices as much as their personalities. It's not just the superficial, flashy, trendy stuff he's focused on. He's more in to meaningful fashion. I love that!!
You don't know how much I paused and went back and forth in this video JUST to re-live your reactions! I couldn't stop smiling!! You're so adorable! ❤️😂😍
I have so many AMAZING items from the Real Real:
1. Tom Ford for Gucci black long cashmere coat in pristine condition
2. Martin Margiela blue wool coat from the 90s in pristine condition
3. Saint Laurent Rive Gauche leather jacket from the 90s in pristine condition
I put in the work and get so many quality items for a fraction of the retail price!
I’m so jealous uhhh😫😫😫😆
Wow!!!
Omggg i would love to see the pics😍😍😍
Not a fan of these looks (except the latex was INCREDIBLE). But the video made me a deeper fan of ASHLEY. I love that she says she dresses for herself. Love Love Love that. So it really doesn't matter a hill o' beans whether I like the looks or not. Go Ashley!
Love Ashley Graham but she is definitely the “acceptable” version of plus size and I’m ready for the fashion industry to get past that. Give me size 18-24 and non hour glass figures pleaseee.
her bra line doesn't even include my size 🙄
You mean "healthy" not acceptable
@@petal1622 shhhhuuuuttttt uuuuupppp
@@petal1622 if a plus size woman is healthy or not shouldn’t determine if they have representation and access to beautiful clothes made in their sizes...
@@petal1622 "unhealthy" people still wear clothes lmao, whats ur point.
You are a blessing 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Edit: and I'm so excited to see what Ashley Graham pulls off!
This was by far my fav Vogue video, mostly due to her personality, but also because of her style and tips. Love your videos!
My grandparents live next to her parents and they talk often. They absolutely adore her family.
I love Ashley Graham giving us big girls tips on modifying clothes! Thank you luke for reacting to this video!
I'm living for this. I really liked her outfits and how she explained them. Personally my favorites were her corset looks.
Another great video. I'm not crazy about almost all of these looks - not my taste - but I love how positive Luke is. He is such a talented commentator. Funny, intelligent, enthusiastic, and just so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for your fabulousness - you are the best!
I love how rich and deep her voice is. Beautiful timbre 💕
I would just like to say, that I LOVE Luke’s intro music. It’s light and calming. Makes me relaxed when I’m about to sit down and watch a video of his. We love ❤️ thankyou Luke for your amazing videos!!
her using her telfar bag as a diaper bag is giving me life
The fact that you got this up SECONDS before the next 7 days 7 looks was uploaded is insane
Schutz, that white boot’s brand, is a Brazilian footwear company!
Love the last look not because it was super interesting or anything but because she radiated confidence and KNOWS how good she looks in it 👏🏻
Actually couldn’t agree more on the tailored part, thrifted a men’s Burberry blazer and it was too big for me, took it to the tailor and now I wear it every midseason 😘
I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM ASHLEY’S VID!! there needs to be more like it. 💗
I like how she had a color story with the green tones in all of her outfits! That’s pretty cool.
Been waiting on my toes for this one!!! I love Ashley! As a curvy girl, i relate to her so much. Great video Luke 🥰🥰
I’m loving your recent content😊 💖 And I’m glad we agreed a lot here, Ashley Sells that these clothes spark joy for her. The textures and unconventional choices were very *interesting* and her practical advice was so so good. 💖
OMG!!! You are SO adorable!! I loved your commentary. I was worried it was going to be a take down of sweet AG, but you were so gracious and funny and had really amazing and insigtfull things to say! And I love watching how she was charming you along the way and you were open to it! She is so effervescent. I'm a curvy plus and it is positively revolutionary to see AG FEELING herself and being so positive, dropping tips and rocking whatever SHE wants to. Thanks for such a fun video! More, please!
Love how body-positive she is !!! she seems so positive about her body and kind to herself ! love her and that she is caring lube in her bad had me gagging !!
A.G. is not just a pretty face - she's got the cool personality too!
So fun :)
Two uploads in a week ???!!! Maybe 2021 won’t be as bad after all
Don't jinx it!! 😜
OMG! this was my favorite Vogue week so far and I have seen it number of them.! You both were were fabulous!
I worked at a shoe store in high school and we did expansions on all different kind of shoes for our customers!
11:26 the way his face says "BiTcH wHJaT TheE FUcKK???!?@!?" D E A D hahahahahahha
Her face is gorgeous
Her voice is gorgeous
ashley was the best one so far on this vogue series
I love that she's talking about her bras!!!
I love that she has her own sense of style, even is she's a model it looks different from the same fashion trends we see all the time, and some pieces were really unique!
I get the Vans apprehension, but I gotta mention that in the same way your clothes don't fit right after a baby for a while, make that double for your feet. Lol. Ugh. Childbirth.
I’ve never been a fan of Ashley Graham, but I actually like her personality and confidence. I love how she stopped to take pictures.
I admire her confidence (every "pluss-size" women) & just wears what she wants no matter what others think! The cardigan from Khaite she is wearing is that same 1 as the 1 that Katy Holmes wore but then with the cashmere bralette
ugh i love your videos so much. perfect amount of wisdom, snark, judgement, kindness etc.
