540hz e-TN can reach 0.2ms on mPRT whereas QD/W-OLED gaming monitors usually go as down as 0.03ms (GtG). Edit: BenQ ans Asus 540hz monitors share the exact same panel.
This monitor looks good. If I wasn’t used to playing my pc games on a 4K oled tv I would consider buying this monitor. I’m just used to the crisp 4K picture and I don’t really want to go back to a lower resolution. I could do 1440p and get a lot more fps, but I do notice the texture quality going down.
Tbh if you dont have a bottleneck just buy the premium one time nd domt feel outdated…there where 1440p 360hz monitors since end of last year so the purchase was outdated before it happened tbh

go with pg27aqdp. I've been using it since yesterday. incredible monitor. at 27 you don't need 4K. This means you don't have to buy a new graphics card every generation to achieve 240 Hz in 4k. I also sent the LG32GS95 back. It's a great monitor but as I said, it will always be expensive to maintain the fps. and 480fps in 1080p 32inch looks really terrible
It's the perfect endgame monitor you get 4k for media and non competitive games plus 1080p. Alot of the time I'll just keep dual mode activated when I'm watching 1080p videos cause I can't really tell the difference unless it's a 4k video. You can also scale the screen down to 24 or 27 inches I just keep it at full screen. Improves clarity on LCD because LCD has sucky clarity to begin with. OLED has insane motion clarity without it.

You’re going to need a 5090 to run at that refresh rate. Not talking about overwatch/valorant/Counter strike or any other game equivalent. your not running that refresh rate unless you make the settings low
it's kinda the same like 540hz, competitive games are very easy to run either 1080p/2k barely any difference, CPU > GPU in that case. Unless we're talking about other games that require lots of power from GPU then we ain't even getting past 240hz for those type of games
What running a 480hz monitor means is that you'll have zero bottlenecks under 480fps as long as your GPU is decent. With a decent graphics card that's not a 50-series, you can get a decent 320fps and it will be stable, that's sort of how display frequencies work. It's difficult to max out the display frequency to its fps equivalent, but if your display frequency exceeds your FPS limit your display output will be very stable.

You don't have to get your FPS locked to 480hz to get a benefit from this monitor. 480hz is merely the output frequency, and that means anything below 480 fps is going to be more stable as long as you have a good enough graphics card and CPU. For example, you have a 4080 with a decent processor, you can lock your FPS to 320 and it's not a waste because a 480hz monitor will ensure that 320fps in that setup will be a very stable 320fps. It's not about redlining your display frequency, it's about having very stable frame output, that's what gives the edge in online games.
That is not a fact, I am going back to 1080p, not because of the res, because of the big scren, for me, i am really used to 24" monitor, and after a yera of haveing same previos verison (1440p, 240hz, 27", OLED), i am still thinking 24" is better than 27" even if it is 1440p OLED, for FPS games. In ow2 I have like 600+ fps on 7800x3D and 4080rtx if it 1080p and on 2k it would be about 500-600 if everything on low. In cs2 it is 500-700 fps in 1080p and difference in fps in such games it’s not as big 1080p or 2k
