    Isn't the 540hz with DyAc/ULMB2 going to be superior compared to OLED at 480hz (that doesn't have Black Frame Insertion)? I saw UFO test review by Monitors Unboxed and the TN panel looked clear by a far shot

      @@Raynoxfps Agree with the colors... I've gotten used to the newer TN panel colors by now as they're not as horrendous as the older TN panels.
      However, even with the low response time, the UFO tests look way clearer on the 540 Hz TN panels with DyAC2/ULMB2 compared to the 1440p (or 1080p) 480 Hz OLEDs
      One downside being it can only be activated at 360hz or above so any game that doesn't touch that much FPS can't use Backlight Strobing. I think this is where the OLED will shine

    • @Vainsz
      @Vainsz  หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I've used 540hz for a year with ULMB2, and I much prefer the 480hz oled because of the superior OLED and 1440p res. UFO tests are good, but as the target market for this monitor myself, I prefer to test the performance in game, especially in competitive high rank where it really matters.
      And from my experience, no difference whatsoever in terms of performance between these 2, so why not just get the extra OLED and 1440p benefits (if budget was no issue)

    • @igitsolutions
      @igitsolutions 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah but 240hz OLED is way more responsive and clean than 360hz IPS.
      There is no TN or IPS that is below 1.4ms response time.
      Even a 240hz OLED is at 0.025-0.03ms response between each pixel change. The input latency also stacks. So IPS is closer to 4ms total latency even for 360hz and 540hz.
      OLED = closest to direct feedback coming in under 1.3ms total latency makes it more than twice as fast as your 360hz IPS.
      ELMB is more useful for IPS and TN because the whole screen needs a refresh to change pixels.
      OLED does not need it because each pixel is individually lit so it's instant.
      Science bro it's real cool

      It will be to much, you will struggle at 1440p, 240hz is probable doable, in esports titles like Valorant ect.
      I got a 5800x3d and 3070ti and play currently on 1440p 165hz monitor and for esports games that i play, the only ones i can hit a more stable fps around 480 is OW2 and Valorant with low settings at 1440p. The rest like Fortnite, CS2 or Apex(Apex is capped at 300 anyway) it is harder to hit those numbers stable.
      My plan is to try and snack a 360hz 1440p oled at a discount during this winter, and also upgrade to the Nivida 5000 or AMD 8000 series gpu.
