I love BabyMetal, and have been a fan for about a year now. Their work is exceptional as it is so well crafted; the writing, the choreography, the stages, the performances, just flawless and amazing every time.
Great reaction guys, now you know why she is our Queen. She always gives her best. Here is a bit of a translation of Su-metal interview on Hedoban Vol.3, published at March 18, 2014. I nterviewer Q: I was watching it in the stand and a girl next to me, maybe a little older than Su-metal, was crying listening to Akatsuki piano version. I was surprised in a good sense, to see a fan shedding tears listening to a Babymetal song. What do you think about making someone cry by your singing? Su: I remember when I sang Akatsuki for the first time… On rehearsals, my voice became hoarse in the last parts and I wasn’t able to sing well at all. The real performance came as it was, and I felt “What should I do…” I got really nervous because it was the first time to perform by myself, not by the three since Babymetal was formed. I became impatient feeling my voice getting hoarse. Then I looked around the audience and found a fan giving me a serious look shedding tears. I thought “My singing have the power to move someone!” at that moment. I was thinking “I can’t help it…”, but to that kind of me… I was surprised that the fan was moved to an extent to shred tears by my singing. It made me think “Stick to it”. It’s very encouraging to see that it touches fans to that degree. Here is a link to full interview www.reddit.com/r/BABYMETAL/comments/2wnciz/sumetal_long.
Nice - and yes Su's solos gave Yui and Moa a chance for a rest and to get oxygen or whatever backstage for a few minutes during the concerts. Likewise the Black Babymetal songs give Su a short break to grab some water and catch her breath. There are already links in the comments for a couple more Su solos and Black Babymetal songs, try them and all the others - none of them will disappoint. If/when you do Rondo of Nightmare (another Su solo) be sure to find a version with the Mischiefs of the metal Gods instrumental intro.
All of the girls have had solo songs. SuMetal usually has a solo to give Yui and Moa a well deserved break. Moa and Yui will have a duo “Black BabyMetal” for Su to have her break. The band my have a solo or extended intro to help out all of the girls. A game the girls would play while traveling is, Su would name a subject like the number 4. Yui and Moa must come up with a song. This song was so catchy the band joined in. I’ll call it song 4. I believe 4 is unlucky as our 13. Here it is with English Subtitles. th-cam.com/video/XAT1pGKsVso/w-d-xo.html
Mesmerized into silence, a perfect reaction to a Su solo. Read the words to this and listen to it again. I did at a time when I was far from the one I love and it broke me down. Some of their lyrics are really deep (Yes, and some are silly).
AKATSUKI Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love. Shining in the depths of the eyes, the moon is about to cry. Red tears overflow and dye the night sky. In the silence, the two damaged blades stand face to face. Our loneliness and our uneasiness slash even our hearts. Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love. In the passage of time, I keep my eyes shut. Even if the red thread flowing in my hand breaks, I still feel we are tied. In the silence, I hold the damaged blade face to face. My loneliness and my uneasiness, I slash, even my heart, now. Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears someday… Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love. Dye crimson! Dye bloody crimson!
Big Kai, Big Z! What’s up Big Guys? You’ve seen now the metalized Akatsuki- there’s another version called appropriately Akatsuki (unfinished version) that’s just Suzuka and a piano that only REAL MEN can win the challenge of not falling to it’s mighty beauty. What can I say, it wrenched some tears but there’s no shame in being subdued by Suzuka Nakamoto! Akatsuki (unfinished version) give it a go! th-cam.com/video/zS-gB0wYeM0/w-d-xo.html
As for BabyMetal songs Rick Wagner's Black BabyMetal links .Will put a huge smile on your faces .I am smiling thinking about them. bloody now I am going to have to go and watch them and I have been on nights and I am knocked. ; )
this was in 2014. the show was two nights at budokan. they were the youngest group ever to perform there. this song is good but the best show is wembley 2016. the link for this is dai.ly/x58708h . in this version she runs down the stage thru fire both sides. so epic. ok like others have said you now have seen a solo by Su. now you need to react to a video by the other two girls, known as Black Babymetal. the song I would recommend is GJ. also the best for that is also from wembley 2016. a lot of the good videos of their songs are on dailymotion.com. you would have to link and sync but we fans are used to that. if you want a slower song then no rain, no rainbow is that. one of the best shows they did was Tokyo dome red and black night. two nights 55,000 people each night. different song set each night.
I am always reliving my experience when I found Babymetal in 2013. I heard megitsune video for the first time and I have been hooked since then. at that time the only real videos were with the fake bones but some of the beginning videos were wild. then sonisphere 2014 and the metal world changed forever. I try to let others understand the band like they should. a lot of reacters sometimes don't get them so I try and help. lol.
Here the next mind blower from Aldious, a live track. Great review of We Are btw , loved it haha. btw drummers father Terry Bozio drummed for Frank Zappa , her mother is Japanese of course @
just a baddass song the band is so good .. the melody is so good .. this is the song I heard first after seeing them on late night with Stephen Colbert .. after seeing this .. it just blew my mind how professional these kids were even back then .. a lot of killer songs .. fun stuff … good job men ty
The "u" after an "s" is often not spoken. It's pronounced Akat'ski. And is why Su-metal has the dash, to tell you to pronounce the "u" Babymetal doesn't take much time between songs in concert, they are relentless. So they have solos for Su and Moa, and used to have with Moa and Yui, to give the others a chance to hydrate and catch their breaths.
I'm always happy when a new BM reaction from you guys shows up :-) This song continues to amaze me even after almost two years of listening to it. It really doesn't have anything to criticise, it's so good in all respects, composition, instrumentals, presentation, and above all, Su's awesome voice. Even now the first verse still makes me shed a tear every time. I second Rick Wagner's suggestion, you should do a "Black Babymetal" (Yui and Moa) song next. My favourite of those is "Onedari Daisakusen" (well, it varies, sometimes it's "GJ!"). Another suggestion would be a more kawaii song again like "YAVA!": www.dailymotion.com/video/x6gpgga
“To the heart that cuts away loneliness and anxiety across the blade that was hurt in silence” “I like this song that sings loneliness and the strength that inspires me. I am also writing songs. I would be happy to come and listen to my songs too.
Dato: Akatsuki da! = Kurenai da! (X japan). Además esta canción es casi hermana de Kurenai de x japan. El mismo productor lo dijo. Babymetal fue inspirado por X japan. Existen muchas referencias de babymetal a X japan.
Although SuMetal has other solos, if you want something different from Babymetal, take a little detour and watch Babymetal Akatsuki Unfinished version. th-cam.com/video/zS-gB0wYeM0/w-d-xo.html
Nice reaction guys. My suggestion is a visual key metal band called Versailles and their live performance of a song Faith & Decision. watch?v=0_iRWVMM8-I

Youngest group ever to headline the famed Budokan. The acoustic version of this song will make even the toughest metalhead cry.
pro tip: you can watch series on kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Cole Case definitely, I've been using kaldrostream for years myself =)
Yes. For me, it felt like a sweet lament for my tired dying soul sung by an angelic being.

Very nice. Thank you.
"Stick to it". These women have said things that are far beyond their years.
6:05 the queen, showing her power without mercy. 🤘🦊🤘
Great reaction! This Sumetal solo it's my favorite, this song is amazing! Hope to see more babymetal reactions!
That's my favorite BM song, I love Road of Resistance, Karate etc, but Akatsuki is so perfect, it really deserve a place as a milestone in metal.
二人とも品があって好感もてますねー。いつもありがとうございます。

BTW, since you mentioned Viking Metal, Babymetal can do that, too, the song is called Meta Taro.
1:54 Big Z looks like a demon with Su reflected in his glasses

There's never a good live video with clean audio, but my favorite song is From Dusk til Dawn.
That's Su the Goddess for you! :)
You guys should really do Rondo of Nightmare with the intro. I think you would love it.

Ozzy Osbourne was in attendance that night for what many see as Babymetal's most legendary show!

You guys need to check out the English translation to this song. It makes it thousands of times better.
True. The lyrics are actually surprisingly dark and beautiful.
Next. Amore - Babymetal
