Or maybe the agression is like a test. Where if you cant defeat an endermen you cant possibly defeat a dragon. And if you do beat the endermen then you get awarded its pearl thatll lead you to on step closer to the dragon

You can also buy them from villagers, which implies that villagers can and have killed Endermen? Or maybe their golems... Or even the part about the 'ancient builder society' learning how to craft them is true and the villagers somehow know the ritual that the player doesn't. Any way it happens, I always go about buying them, because I can't personally bring myself to hurt the Endermen myself ^^;
Maybe , humans divided into tribes and they create the pigmen and villagers. Maybe the endermites can spawn enderpearls and they are the reason why the humans had access to the end
The new official Minecraft novel “Minecraft: The End” mentions that the endermen didn’t build the end cities and that they were just “there” when they arrived. If by “arrived” they mean their transformation from human to enderman, then this is extremely strong evidence to support this theory.
Theory debunked by the simple Fact alone that we, the Player, are as strong as we are. Zombies and whatnot else, they are so weak, we could build a Defense (a 'Stronghold') against these soooo easily, it's laughable. If they had even half the Ability we have at the start of the game, they were invincible to the Zombies, who can be stopped forever by a 2-Block-Wall! And it was an Entire Species?? I don't need to tell you what crazy Strongholds can be build in Multiplayer, right? Right?
7:03 you also forgot to mention that wood does not exist in end dimension, yet we have chests in end dimension which means the ancient builders brought them.
He also forgot to mention he reversed the audio for the endermen speaking he makes it sound like you can hear there words without reversing the audio whats important to note is they speak backwards so if you just playing the game 'whats up" doesn't sound like whats up you could hear it and never know unless you are fluent in reverse speech
I think that the water damage is because of how they did not have water for so long that when they come into contact with it their immune system attacks it like a sickness so I guess an allergy maybe???? Idk but that is my best guess. What do you think?
I have theory you how you know how you have water all over the place and once you get to the end there is no water once you get there just like the nether regions so they evouled a killer dager to water
Terribleee because maybe the body adapted with no water for generations so when they see it they get scared, because if you where on the moon and saw distorted figures you didn't know? you'd be scared, the human body reacts with fear to things they dont know
Maybe the endermen hate endermites like we hate cockroaches, they creep us out and interfere with our normal day. Maybe when they were highly advanced they used enderpearls so much that the endermites became an annoyance in their normality, and they still retain the hate of the endermites after generations. Edit: I made the connection to cockroaches to make the way endermen hate endermites relatable.
@@dark_ohantom8902 Yeah endermites do seem like the end version of silverfish. They silverfish hide inside stone while endermites hide inside ender pearls. And they're equally as annoying.
THE WITHER!! When you defeat the Wither, you get the achievement called "the beginning". The thing that was killing the people in the overworld was the wither! It is the beginning of the end. The beginning of people going into the end, being trapped there, turning into endermen and the beginning of the lore of minecraft. When they went inside the strongholds, while the Wither was kept outside, people still had the "sickness" (the wither effect), so they went into the End seeking something that could stop their sickness, and while they succeeded, they transformed into the endermen that we know today. The most skilled teleporters eventually managed to teleport to other dimensions, the overworld and the nether.
It makes sence, but there is one problem. If all the survivors ran to the End when the Wither was alive, then no-one could have killed it, so it should still be alive when we join the world, but it isn't
@@matematulji I think that over many years, the wither went back to the nether and turned the skeletons there to wither skeletons, exhausting its power and dissapearing. You can get the skulls (its "power") from the skeletons and summon it again.
I think the wither returned to the nether and fell victim to it’s own power, it withered away and all of it’s remains are left inside of wither skeletons and such beings
Maybe the pillagers were once villagers and friends with the others but our villagers betrayed them and ran away from them and they are looking for revenge on them. I think the ravagers were once iron golems
Something that interests me a lot but I haven't really heard anyone else talk about is eyes of ender. We can infer that ender pearls are essentially the "heart" of an Enderman, but why, when combined with blaze powder does it create some sort of "eye"?
Theory: they’re ashamed of how they look so that’s why they attack you when you look at them, also they don’t like looking at their reflection so that’s why they hate water.
They were deprived of water for so long they got very dry so touching water instantly moisturises them It's so quick to point that it hurts That's what i think at least
1.They have never gone to sleep after going to the end as well since you can't place beds in the end and beds are the only way to sleep in the game 2.They attack you when you look at them probably because they don't want you to see what they have turned into 3.The reason why they say look for the eye is probably because they want to be freed from the end
The endermen also adapted with night vision properties. If you go into spectator mode and see from the endermans perspective, they have a different type of view.
My theory to why the endermen attack you when you look them in the eyes is that one of their ''speach sound'' is ''look for the eye''. I think that their afraid that you take their eyes and kill them. So when they get angry, its just self defence.
A small detail here, it is safe to say the end has lot lower atmospheric pressure since endermen evolved to be more than twice as tall as they once were.
Actually (up until 1.16) every single mob in the Nether could safely survive in the over world. And to say ghasts made it to the overworld would explain way there are huge nether portal ruins that can be found.
the enderman: hi pls free us by killing the ender dragon ;( steve: ok how to get there the endermen: eye of ender steve: don’t that need ender pearls..? the endermen: a small price to pay for salvation
welcome to m=game theory a youtube video devoted to making you feel nastalgic and then leaving the episode asking why you played this game when you were younger
I know! If they really don't teleport and they just move fast...how did they really get that ability? The fruit supposably teleport you not make you very fast so how would they have adapted that ability? And why? Why did they even adapt the ability to move like that? Is there some other mob here that they have to "run" and hide from? What would that be? Maybe we weren't the second generation to populate but there was another more hostile one before up that hunted endermen.
Theory: Endermen are aggresive when they see a player's eyes because it reminds them of their ancestors and the sacrifice their ancestors had to make. Think about it. To fill in the Portal to escape, they needed Eye of Ender's. In order to get these, their ancestors BURNED THEIR EYES (blaze powder resembles fire) as they believed they must make a sacrifice to activate the portal. So, when an Endermen sees a player's eye's, they remember how the sacrifice their ancestors had to make and get angry.
Also, if they evolved, that would take millions of years and strongholds would be so ruined that they're basically like natural caves with an end portal frame in them.
Everyone: "Good theory, MatPat" Me: *"he just mined a grass block with a stone a x e"* (3:41) Edit: how in the world did I get so many likes in such a short time? also yes he also said "build" while breaking a grass block with a stone pickaxe (credit to replies for pointing that out)
Endermen are trying to help us. They don't say "get away" or "intruder" they say "hey" "what's up" and "look for the eye" they are good and endermen Try to help.
i mean, it the second answer i think i kinda know, i the theory it's true that mean they could confuse u with a mob that diseapired, but they don't know that. k they remember theyr past but they see in revers (or they just don't remember that)
The endermans eyes are corrupted they see end stone as cobblestone when you look through there eyes in spectator mode so maybe they see water as lava and humans as mobs
The second question maybe they were traumatize(don't know if thats right)and get some sort of flaskback which make they head hurt and attack you Well idk...
I'm not sure, I saw a video about the next biggest movies coming out before 2023. search it up. I think the FNaF movie will be the best out of any of them.
Who else felt chills go down their spine when listening to the "talk" of the Endermen? Especially that.. *"Look for the eye"* thing... U..ugh... 4:56, if you're wondering
I heard "Look for the end" (instead of "eye"). Which would make more sense to me as they drop eyes. Why should we look for eyes when they have them? We are, instead, looking for the end of the game.
Mini theory: The Ender Pearls aren't items that come from the Endermen, but they're actually crafted by them, that could also explain why Endermen don't drop Ender Pearls every time they're killed, some just don't have them
To add to the idea that the End Cities were created for players, the doorways are only 2 blocks tall. Endermen need 3 block high doors to walk through.
This is a possibly pointless detail, but when you look from the enderman's eyes in spectator mode, the colors are reversed. So end stone looks like cobblestone.

No one:
Matpat: THE L O R E IS IMPORTANT
Steve: Peaceful to endermen
Also steve: Collects their "pearls" only collected when killed to complete a ritual to another dimension.
Hmmmm....
You can also buy them from villagers, which implies that villagers can and have killed Endermen? Or maybe their golems... Or even the part about the 'ancient builder society' learning how to craft them is true and the villagers somehow know the ritual that the player doesn't. Any way it happens, I always go about buying them, because I can't personally bring myself to hurt the Endermen myself ^^;
@@Kaleidonope endermen are my friends😀😀

Can we have a free of pervert Comment section at least once?
Its cool to think that the Enderman pick up blocks that remind them of the overworld. Kinda adds a humanity side to them.
If this is true, how many of them died when they tried building a bed? Might explain the craters in the end too.
i would enjoy a update where they can become human like again
Lol. 10/10 observations
That's a good question
Maybe , humans divided into tribes and they create the pigmen and villagers. Maybe the endermites can spawn enderpearls and they are the reason why the humans had access to the end

@Lucas M dude they had level 30+ enchanted armor and weapons. What more do you want.
The new official Minecraft novel “Minecraft: The End” mentions that the endermen didn’t build the end cities and that they were just “there” when they arrived. If by “arrived” they mean their transformation from human to enderman, then this is extremely strong evidence to support this theory.
Yes but who built the cities? 🤔
Начков Варшавский A creative player
It's just a theory 😂
Начков Варшавский What if there extremely mutated chorus fruit or shulkers.
Theory debunked by the simple Fact alone that we, the Player, are as strong as we are. Zombies and whatnot else, they are so weak, we could build a Defense (a 'Stronghold') against these soooo easily, it's laughable.
If they had even half the Ability we have at the start of the game, they were invincible to the Zombies, who can be stopped forever by a 2-Block-Wall!

true
And when they ran out of wood they used the things around them
He also forgot to mention he reversed the audio for the endermen speaking he makes it sound like you can hear there words without reversing the audio whats important to note is they speak backwards so if you just playing the game 'whats up" doesn't sound like whats up you could hear it and never know unless you are fluent in reverse speech
i have got another thing doorways in endcity's i think are 2 blocks tall so they made the citys before they were endermans
none of the items found in chests are obtainable in the end so this chest thing is pretty obvious

Why do they get hurt from Water?
Also, what are discs 11 and 13?
I think that the water damage is because of how they did not have water for so long that when they come into contact with it their immune system attacks it like a sickness so I guess an allergy maybe???? Idk but that is my best guess. What do you think?
I have theory you how you know how you have water all over the place and once you get to the end there is no water once you get there just like the nether regions so they evouled a killer dager to water
Terribleee
because maybe the body adapted with no water for generations so when they see it they get scared, because if you where on the moon and saw distorted figures you didn't know? you'd be scared, the human body reacts with fear to things they dont know
Water is something that’s not in the end and you don’t need to have it to survive

THE ENDERMAN’S WEAKNESS IS WATER
Maybe the endermen hate endermites like we hate cockroaches, they creep us out and interfere with our normal day. Maybe when they were highly advanced they used enderpearls so much that the endermites became an annoyance in their normality, and they still retain the hate of the endermites after generations.
Edit: I made the connection to cockroaches to make the way endermen hate endermites relatable.
There are no cockroaches in the overworld and nothing in the Theory connected the real world to the Minecraft world.
The endermites are literally the silverfish who fell into the portal maybe?
@@dark_ohantom8902 Yeah endermites do seem like the end version of silverfish. They silverfish hide inside stone while endermites hide inside ender pearls. And they're equally as annoying.
maybe the future civilzation got infected by endermites and turned into enderman
but it's just zGAME THEORY
@@sfirro i know about the skulls. That is very much possible
What if Minecraft storymode was actually the past of Minecraft, back when there was civilizations. It goes along with your theory
I think the wither returned to the nether and fell victim to it’s own power, it withered away and all of it’s remains are left inside of wither skeletons and such beings
Plz make a theory on either Pillagers,Ravegers,Who they are and where they come from. Or, Why cats and ocelots scare creepers.
Naw
Cats are cute so creeper don't want to hurt them?
And illagers
Maybe the pillagers were once villagers and friends with the others but our villagers betrayed them and ran away from them and they are looking for revenge on them. I think the ravagers were once iron golems
Actually creepers are scared of the cat’s paw and so they run away
Something that interests me a lot but I haven't really heard anyone else talk about is eyes of ender. We can infer that ender pearls are essentially the "heart" of an Enderman, but why, when combined with blaze powder does it create some sort of "eye"?
This just turned minecraft into like a horror/mystery game for me... if i ever see an abandoned structure again-

Theory: they’re ashamed of how they look so that’s why they attack you when you look at them, also they don’t like looking at their reflection so that’s why they hate water.
But they take damage when touched by water
@@UncleForHire Being scared and hating water, maybe so much time away and avoiding it has led to taking damage of them?
Dis Boy Doe true, I got a little extra on the last part 😅

It's so quick to point that it hurts
That's what i think at least
Like shy guy-
1.They have never gone to sleep after going to the end as well since you can't place beds in the end and beds are the only way to sleep in the game
2.They attack you when you look at them probably because they don't want you to see what they have turned into
3.The reason why they say look for the eye is probably because they want to be freed from the end

This sounds really accurate wow
This is an amazing theory, MatPat need to see this
Wow that sounds spot on

Hmmm... that might actually be true, ur theory sounds true so yea it might be true

Some things that are still unanswered:
- why do endermen get hurt by water?
- why do they get angry when you look at them?
i mean, it the second answer i think i kinda know, i the theory it's true that mean they could confuse u with a mob that diseapired, but they don't know that.
k they remember theyr past but they see in revers (or they just don't remember that)
Inverted eyesight meaning they dont see a human they see something else
The endermans eyes are corrupted they see end stone as cobblestone when you look through there eyes in spectator mode so maybe they see water as lava and humans as mobs
The second question maybe they were traumatize(don't know if thats right)and get some sort of flaskback which make they head hurt and attack you
Well idk...
Maybe it’s because they think their ugly
