I have a 2017 Everest Titanium with 150k on the OD. The only issue I had was with the AdBlue sensor. Ford fixed it at no cost. Mine is the 3.2L and all is great. I love my Everest, it's been everywhere on holiday trips with a trailer in tow. It feels really nice on the road on long trips. I have pre-ordered the new Everest but I'm sad to see this go.
Best review of Ford Everest! Honest and no filter. Props to West Auckland Ford with their service, hope East Auckland gets that customer service too as I am planning to buy Everest soon.
Thank you for this. Just replaced engine at 73000km on XLT single turbo. Covered by warranty and No questions asked by Ford though. Car was vibrating and on limp mode.
At 100,000 kms, I had to spend quite a bit of money on replacing a faulty EGR cooler which also buggered the turbo (new turbo). I was told that these two faults are common with Everests. ADblue system also failed and that was more money spent there about $5k nzd all up.
Thanks for the review, was looking into some mods for my Everest and noted your changes down. It looks awesome by the way with the lift kit and tyres :)
On the same page with ya :) I live in Vietnam and just got a new Everest 2021 with a lil change on the front grill...This is a great car in terms of credibility and affordability :).
I am looking at the new Everestt that will be coming out later this year. How does the Ford quality compare to Prado? Currently I am hessitating between the 2.
A Toyota you won’t have any of those problems until you reach 500 000🤞🏾, I have a Ford Everest Limited there is always something that need attention wrench signs, oil leaks, gearbox issues
Hey mate, greetings from India.... i own the 3.2 lt Everest.... i want the same mods that you have done, that is the 2" susoension lift with 33" tyres.... for this, did you have to change the upper or lower arm too?? And what offset alloys are you using?? Yours look a bit jutting out of the fender....
Hi, thanks for the review as i am about to choose my first Everest. Did you change the rims? What size are they 20 inch? Thanks, how is it still going?
Classic, I used to watch your photography channel and just happened to stumble across this review! I'm contemplating getting an Everest. A couple of questions. Why the titanium over the sport? Sunroof? And what size rims do you have on that? Cheers, for the review. Plans for any other mods?
Hey man, yeah its awesome, the sport wasnt out when I bought this, but yeah sunroof, I think it has extra electrics like self parking and radar cruise, im not sure if the sport has that or not? There was some other options also I cant remember. I do really love the sunroof but other than that I would have probably just got the Sport
Thanks for this. I am actually tossing up between the Wildtrack and the Everest. Apart form the obvious shape differences, are you able to share your reasons for not sticking with the Ute?
I just found it sometimes a little impractical, like as a photographer I didn’t really have anywhere to put all my expensive gear. I could have bought a drawer system or even built one but it would have had to be 100% water tight etc, so the tray was sometimes super handy but sometimes not, I find the wagon has much better storage for things like that, the Everest is also much quieter and smoother on the road with the coil springs. But honestly I did love the Ute as well. I think it just didn’t suit my needs, also there’s soooo many of them around haha the Everest is a little more unique
Its not just the black paint that's crook, I have never seen a good paint finish on my white one or any other colour either for that matter...... Its just a poor paint process on Fords part...
To be honest, this video is pointless. Come back at 100,000kms. You are reviewing a near new vehicle, of course it feels like a great vehicle. People want to know how the longevity/ reliability long term. You’ve only had it for 4 oil changes……

This is the best ownership review I have come across. Much appreciated. Cheers.

I have modified my front bumper, added a winch and lifted it 2 inches with TJM. Beauty to drive. It’s super comfy.
Love real ownership review, real talk..
Thanks mate, it's good to watch a owner review, not someone who is given a brand vehicle for two weeks and getting paid by car manufacturer.
Thanks mate. I too have one in South Africa. Love it
Now this is a review of an Everest. Real world. Thanks
Would be cool to hear a 100k review (for those of us who can only afford an older second hand model with higher km's)
I’ve sold it now but everything still stands. Never had any more issues with it. Would definitely own another one

Hello. Like to ask how's your everest still running in good condition?
Of course it's good to drive on long runs... it's a Ford and they're renowned for it .
True
Good review mate. I am in the process of purchasing one, can’t wait to get behind the wheel and do a long road trip. Cheers!
The ford everest has microphones in the roof which cancel out the noises that the engine makes
Yo awesome dude thank you. So stoked to find a nz review. Totally get a big old black one. Chur
Ford Everest is king 🤴
haha and then the y62 is a God
I'm thinking of buying one thanks for the video 👍👍
great vid mate. any updates please. Any issues since posting.,
I sold it a while ago mate but no, no more issues at all since owning it myself
i have seen everest look really nice with the ford raptor wheels
Thanks for the review, just bought a 2021 Trend, Can I ask where you purchased the black out accessories from?
Great review mate. Whereabouts in Auckland are those offroad tracks in the video and where's the spot at 4.52?
I am looking at the new Everestt that will be coming out later this year. How does the Ford quality compare to Prado? Currently I am hessitating between the 2.
Bit late. But I rented the prado down the South Island and I waaaay preferred the Everest. It’s much better build quality. Way more power also

No need to change upper arms with a 2” lift. The wheels are stock but I have a 20mm spacer on them
top notch quality
Hi, thanks for the review as i am about to choose my first Everest. Did you change the rims? What size are they 20 inch? Thanks, how is it still going?
20’s? Nah I went with 17’s 20’s are hopeless off road. I’ve sold the truck now but never had any other issues. Was great
I want one! I love this channel
Hi, sorry but that tyre size sounds foreign to me! Are those 285/70 r 17 size? Thanks
doesnt look like a r17 to me.... its more of r18 i guess...
If you ever plan to throw it away.. Throw it to me 😁🤫. Thank you... Loved the review..
Awesome review mate ✌️
Thanks bro
Will have to go get a test drive in one

Any updates?
I sold it. Regret selling it tbh. I’m going to buy the new one when I can afford to next year.
What was the first issue u mentioned, which stop u on the highway?
Alternator failed
Great video cheers bro
Any issue on the transmission?
Nope

Nice review Chris. Where have You done suspension lift?
I had it installed by Mag & Turbo, but I wouldnt recommend them again tbh. The kit is from Outback Armour, any good mechanic can install it
After all it’s FORD what do/can you expect????
About what?
Its not just the black paint that's crook, I have never seen a good paint finish on my white one or any other colour either for that matter...... Its just a poor paint process on Fords part...
Agreed
hmmm.... and i thaught that the ridiculously poor paintjob was limited to India spec models only.... 😅
@@PopEye2384 so it seems they are all bad then...
@@Grahamrjohnson yup... mine is 2.5yrs old, 66k kms driven.... have numerous spots where the paint have chipped out due to flying debris....
@@PopEye2384 Mines actually good now as it got hail damaged and the entire car was repainted. The repaint finish is really really good. LOL
What's the size tyres you currently have on the Everest?
33x11.5" Falken AT3
What camera are you using ?
Sony A7C
@@captain_midlife thanks!
Why did the alternator go?
They didn’t give me any reason so not sure. But it certainly wasn’t anything like water or mud ingress
A rare defect... Not a usual issue for an Everest...
good..
10 speed auto does not work properly…very lumpy, not smooth at all!
Works pretty well for me
I have a 10 speed Ranger and it is very smooth, love it.
In India, the 10 speed 2lt ones are facing diminished power issues at higher altitudes (12000 ft +).... any such issues faced by you guys down under?
@@PopEye2384 We dont have any mountains tall enough to be an issue here....
