I do find that moment when this piece plays as perfect as it has the choice to be made which ends in some unknown situlation but it is worth the risk, and I think it perfectly fits the heaviness of the situlation
Kevin Conroy died today (Friday November 11, 2022) and I couldn't get this song out of my head for some reason. Like, part of me is very very sad he's gone (he was the voice of Batman in most things for the majority of my life up to this point) while another is glad to have gotten to experience it. I never thought I'd cry over the passing of a voice actor.
This is amazing... But the piece at 3:04 (you almost can hear Bowie singing "can you heeeere am I floating round my tin can...") it's so beautiful, I cry everytime it gets in this part of the music
This show does some truly remarkable remakes at such the perfect moments in the show. The other that comes to mind is Motion Picture Soundtrack by Radiohead when Maeve is being shown around and realizing what she is.
"Might Makes Right" is often painted as a nasty little philosophy but from a practical standpoint, what even is the alternative? A philosophy that is objectively morally superior, but too pacifistic to defend itself against tyranny, might as well not exist.
If you want more songs like this, checkout Vitamin String Quartet. In some ways you could say this is "classical" music, but it's just string/piano cover of pop music.

Thank you Ramin Djawadi (& David Bowie)
In season 3 she CHOSE to see the beauty, not like in season 1.
I've been asking for this ever since it first aired. The best cover from this season. By far. Thank you Ramin Djawadi. Thank you HBO.

Violent delights have violent ends.
Or in this case “violent delights have violin ends...” Maybe? :)

It’s been over a year. Almost 2. It ruined Veterans Day weekend for me. I love all things military but his death caused me to rethink the holiday.
