There is a hidden suffix that we call "additional verb" in the predicate (in the noun part) of the sentences whose predicate is a noun. This suffix makes the noun the verb of the sentence, but we hardly use it in our daily life. So its better to say :
    O mutlu
rather than "o mutludur" (meaning same thing btw)

s..tir.....i leant turkish when i was young in the 80's.......and just discovered in your video how difficult turkish must be for most foreigners, specially the ispeakers of indo-european languages. I never felt the need to understand the rules....mostly i know them, without even knowing them lol I even know older turkic languages . I'm so surprised i just did these things without even thinking how weird the rules actually are.
BTW you are a great teacher.
One thing is that turkish ( and similar languages) are very efficient....you can say a lot with short sentences
The "ler" "lar" part has been a problem for me looool so no not all comes automatically

      Turkish is an agglutinative language
      for example
      mother
      Anne
      My Mother
      Annem
      Father
      Baba
      My Father
      Babam
      appended to the end

Also I got them all right, but not at the normal talking speed, too much to think, even though I've already spent some months trying to learn Turkish! (At least, I've gained some vocabulary by learning to sing a few Turkish songs.) Only a great many exercises will shape my mind into saying such simple sentences quickly and correctly. But then I also had to practice simple sentences in English a lot in order to start learning English!
Çok teşekkür ederim Funda cem! Yüreğim Türkçeyi öğrenmeye istiyor (Please correct any mistakes, I wrote that without looking up)
