actually it varies from language to language. English was very difficult for us and Turkish is easy because I am a Turk. If you want to live in Turkey, my only advice is not to come.

@Fukonami how to use words in a sentence, for every subject and time there are different additives, for me that is the hardest ever. (Especially because my native language is Dutch) but this clip about personal pronounces is so beautifully explained it makes so much more sense now!

11:52 There is a hidden suffix that we call "additional verb" in the predicate (in the noun part) of the sentences whose predicate is a noun. This suffix makes the noun the verb of the sentence, but we hardly use it in our daily life. So its better to say : O mutlu rather than "o mutludur" (meaning same thing btw)
i can add a fact too.And if you want you can edit comment.The "-dur/-dür/-dır-dir" suffix is for formal speeches.Also its used in old turkish.But now on casual chat you don't have to add that suffix,like you said.

I'm Turkish and these are very easy to learn, you just have to speak them daily and it will dig into ur brain and then it will start becoming easy. I learnt English with this technique.
s..tir.....i leant turkish when i was young in the 80's.......and just discovered in your video how difficult turkish must be for most foreigners, specially the ispeakers of indo-european languages. I never felt the need to understand the rules....mostly i know them, without even knowing them lol I even know older turkic languages . I'm so surprised i just did these things without even thinking how weird the rules actually are. BTW you are a great teacher. One thing is that turkish ( and similar languages) are very efficient....you can say a lot with short sentences The "ler" "lar" part has been a problem for me looool so no not all comes automatically

I would love to learn Turkish, it's quite difficult. Every single day I do practice. It would be better if I could practice someone daily half an hour.
I got them all right. The way you explain vowel harmony makes it seem pretty easy to understand (so far). :) I'm looking forward to checking out more of your grammar videos.
Also I got them all right, but not at the normal talking speed, too much to think, even though I've already spent some months trying to learn Turkish! (At least, I've gained some vocabulary by learning to sing a few Turkish songs.) Only a great many exercises will shape my mind into saying such simple sentences quickly and correctly. But then I also had to practice simple sentences in English a lot in order to start learning English! Çok teşekkür ederim Funda cem! I'm Turkish and these are very easy to learn, you just have to speak them daily and it will dig into ur brain and then it will start becoming easy. I learnt English with this technique.
I learned english by playing games, and translating the english words i didnt knew that people said.

s..tir.....i leant turkish when i was young in the 80's.......and just discovered in your video how difficult turkish must be for most foreigners, specially the ispeakers of indo-european languages. I never felt the need to understand the rules....mostly i know them, without even knowing them lol I even know older turkic languages . I'm so surprised i just did these things without even thinking how weird the rules actually are.
BTW you are a great teacher.
One thing is that turkish ( and similar languages) are very efficient....you can say a lot with short sentences
The "ler" "lar" part has been a problem for me looool so no not all comes automatically

I would love to learn Turkish, it's quite difficult. Every single day I do practice. It would be better if I could practice someone daily half an hour.

Also I got them all right, but not at the normal talking speed, too much to think, even though I've already spent some months trying to learn Turkish! (At least, I've gained some vocabulary by learning to sing a few Turkish songs.) Only a great many exercises will shape my mind into saying such simple sentences quickly and correctly. But then I also had to practice simple sentences in English a lot in order to start learning English!
