Jayson, thanks for shedding more light on Hinduism. I have been challenged (I admit it) in understanding Hinduism. When you explain the stanzas it makes more sense. Brings it closer to other Eastern philosophies. Make me understand. I don't want to buy another book😂
That's great to hear John. That is my aim, to hopefully make people truly understand Eastern thought. I hear ya, Hinduism can be challenging. But if you stick close to Advaita Vedanta and Yoga, then you''ll gain a deeper appreciation for the tradition.
I hearing lecture of Hindu spritual teacher who speaks in my native language Hindi , He know all scripture read and revise regularly , he don't need to look in book , after Reading all book , Once he said in his lecture The body has soul , Our conscious is unsatisfying cuz we find joy in body level ,. But the real joy is in soul , When we worship our soul we find ourselves we are not body we are soul , But he tell one more new point to me that The soul has itself a supreme soul/god /bharaman That's soul want satisfaction or joy or eternal bliss so that's why That soul worship supreme soul ,so it can find real place/home for etarnal joy , Means Body --> soul--> supreme soul He said our soul is part of that supreme soul , or our soul is linked to that supreme soul I used word " worship " Here that word means Example you are doing sex , or eating Means you are worship your desire , lust Means your body worship (feels /thinks/ utilize it) the material World-ly things That's why we are still unstasity and still asking to questions to other How you are so happy tell I also want to be happy , The person replied I did this material thing , I got that limited joy , You - okk so , you do that material thing 80% percent and you are happy I will do 100% and I will happy more And after the material pleasure vanish or bored you ask same question to another person again And stuck in loop , So our brain is designed to collect matrial things so we can happy , Collect more money , Find more beautiful wife , More healthy body , But old-age is house of desease , Lust never ends no matter how beautiful wife you get even you get old lust never ends, You cant use money after death , So our intelligence is confident we have to find joy in material World ,. If we don't get that joy we put some more higher desire again in material world , We have to tell or train our intelligence we never satisfying in material world, we want joy in spritualt realisation , That's wjy our souls should worship (feel, thinking , utilize) the ultimate supreme personality than we can find joy . Stability in that direction
