Sheikh Mansur Al-Hallaj is highly respected within the Sikh tradition as well, as someone who figured out the Truth of Reality, of Allah, and His relationship with the world. He is accepted as a true disciple of God within the Anandpur Durbar of Guru Gobind Singh (the 10th Guru). Beautiful video.

Thank you, my friend, for actually taking the time to learn. We are not Takfiri, only the Shahadah is required. Legit, your video on Coltrane was one of the final links for me.

    ഹല്ലാജെ കൊല്ലും നാൾ അന്നു ഞാനുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ,
    അപ്പോൾ അവർകയ് പിടിപ്പേനതെന്നോവർ
This is a lyrics from an arabi Malayalam song about Sheik Abdul Kadar Jeelani r.a , titled as Muhiyideen maala written on 17th century by Qazi Muhammed of Kerala. It says as the quote of Sheikh Jeelani r.a saying ' If I was present on the day when Hallaj was killed I would have hold their hand ( from killing him).' This song Muhiyideen maala used to be recited by mothers of every orthodox Sunni malayali household and is still famous. So Hallaj's name was familiar from my childhood. Thanks for this insights into his life.

I enjoy your sharing of your experience of the debt we owe to the mysticism of the Sufis. I'd be interested in your assessment of the journey of the tribal mind toward a truth beyond form as expressed by Idries Shah, whose clan arguably seems to have sided with the English in their fool's errand in Afghanistan. Or even better your reading of "The Mouse-proof Kitchen" by a living Sufi. I fear we sometimes devote too much of our presence to a debatable past and not enough devotion to the future.

In your description of Hallaj's concern with God, over God's relationship with Adam, I couldn't help but be reminded of the Parable of the Periodical Son from my culture. Of how the older son felt when the Father accepted the sinful son back with such celebration. The older may have indeed figured himself better and more worthy of a relationship with his Father.

Lots of ideas floating around in gospel of john wherein you u see similar utterrances were based on greek mystical traditions as well. So many similarities are most likely due to Christian tradition which itself borrows a lot from neoplatonism, greek philosophy and mysticism and combines it with jewish idea of God.

Every religion was based on same principle. Time just made rusts. Right Veda has same concept as Islamic monotheism right, but most people don't know. People are blind in hearts. Sages of past had seen the truth and written it down at different parts of the world. We Muslims believe God has send one lakh twenty five and more Prophets during different time periods to different parts of the world to lead people back to him, from Prophet Adam to Prophet Muhammed. The teachings of these enlightened rightly guided men were written down and later when time corroded their teachings people just forget who they really were. Just like what they did with Prophet Jesus. So what I was saying was yeah, there is common thread on basic principles everywhere but we had to dig deep.

You need to be very delicate when talking about experiences like that, because it can come off as very arrogant and people will misunderstand any words uttered in the joyous ecstasy of that kind of mystical spiritual experiences.

I am an atheist. I don't believe in the existence of God. There is insufficient evidence or rational justification to support the belief in any gods or supernatural entities. I rely on reason, logic, and empirical evidence to form my worldview and do not find compelling evidence or arguments to support the existence of god.The universe is governed by natural laws and forces, rather than moral, spiritual, or supernatural ones. As an atheist, I reject the idea of God. I emphasize the social and empirical nature of inquiry and prioritize scientific solutions to intellectual problems. There is an intrinsic intellectual conflict between faith and science, and that it inevitably leads to hostility.

Very interesting actually , the early Islam was mostly a secular Arabic expansionist movement whose followers didn't call themselves muslims but rather identified as Mumineen. Evn the islamic proclamation of faith was just La ilaha ilallah ,the muhammad as his prophet was after half or a century after muhammad. And this Muhammad mighnot actually be the muhammad mostly presented by the hadith. The hadith sources are deeply unreliable and infact many Islamic scholars themselves criticised using them in the beginning as many of them were near to caliphs and their sons and early salaf but none had actually quoted the prophet said...any time but many of the boys in Arabia were going around saying that twenty four hours a day 😂. Definitely this Islam we know today is much like christianity which diverged and changed as the followers started to develop a separate identity.

😂 sympathize with Satan, what muslims did to him, actually that turn them into Satan. Even if allaha exists it may say Al-Hallaj was right

Allah is not foolish, he created Satan (adversary) on purpose, to test us to help us grow. Human beings used a similar strategy called GAN's (generative adverserial network) for AI machine learning.

Satan is a necessary evil to help us grow spiritually, so yes thank God for Satan. Even when we are trying to create AI we used a similar strategy as Allah called GAN's (generative adverserial networks).

Satan became Satan because Ibless BLAMED God for deceiving Ibless when God Breathe His Spirit into Adam - Satan wasn't casted out by just disobeying God because there're further dialogues between God n Satan but Question of. al-Hajjaj is Valid but Why the UNSEEN GOD made His Angles to bow to Adam rather than Himself?

Adam was a Qibla.. it's like Kaaba now. We don't prostrate to Kaaba when we do sujood right. Our sujood is to Allah even though we may be doing it infront of Kaaba. If Allah says so we do so. It's Obedience of higher order. Don't think it's shirk as no divinity was implied to Adam on this sujood. In authentic hadiths it's said animals used to do sujood to Rasoolallah ﷺ. That's not the sujood as making him God. When sahaba asked whether they can also do so, Rasoolallah ﷺ declined and said no man should do sujood to another man. Here no man did sujood to Adam. It was asked of other sentient beings to do so to show the position of mankind as it carried The Noor. Iblees was envious of the Noor inside Adam and he rebelled against the direct order from Allah to lower his head to Adam. Hope it's clear.

The Koran contains many Syrian-Christian hymns declared falsely as Muslim - Christian mysticism shines through. The religious ideas and mystic experiences delivered by Indian Rishis in the Vedas - especially the Upanishads - are the base of all great religions we know. In India we can find the first try to explain mystical experiences with paradox pictures as described in the video above. In my opinion the mysticism found in Islam is mainly shaped by ancient experiences Saddhus made in India long time before Islam occurred on the surface - so Islamic mysticism is much closer to any other mystic paths in India/Bharat than to Islam which can be seen clearly in some Indian Sufi orders. So the self declaration of al-Hallaj as Muslim is born out of ignorance just not knowing that the roots of mystic experiences are potentially in all of us - no matter what religious ideas we follow - that's what the Upanishads tell us. In fact I like the channel but I would prefer to emphasize the liberating aspects - the opening mysticism gives us to all expressions and deeper understanding the Islam hides from us with sometimes very dangerous dogmatic ideas.

@@ashishmantri3684 I don't think that islam is like christianity. From my point of view, the roots of the christianity is more close to the Thomas church (than to what is presented in the Bible), which claims that the Son cannot incarnate into a human being. I believe that it was the Simon the Magnus (Magus), who is the real author of the vast major part of the statements which are presented as the words of Jesus Christ in Bible (and moreover the Simon's words were more holistic than the ones in the Bible).

Mohammed gave the wandering Jew a patched garment. Mayhaps the reality that we have come to call " Sufism " far predates any and all titles we ascribe to any spiritual experience. Sheikh Al-Ishraq is amongst the many who have met their fate in this way. Know Acception. Peace.. .

Your statement is totally invalid. God can forgive a person as long as his/her transgressions is limited to himself and does not include another living being. If one harms another living being that person needs to seek forgiveness from there person that they harmed, God will not forgive that. Chanting Allah Akbar is only beneficial when it's chanted with the body, mind and soul, chanting with the mouth alone is nit beneficial. Many extreme crazy so called Muslims chant it incorrectly while thinking they following God but they actually following their own desires and harming innocent people

Allauh says in the Goraun that forgiveness is only for those who do wrong out of ignorance and then repent shortly after.
Doing whatever you want and being forgiven:
Islam on TV with a moon symbol - "say something 100 times and you are forgiven" - fake hadith
Christianity - just say that this one died for your sins, splash some water, and you are saved.
Judaism - Chosen "race" by God while others are "animals", and genetically superior because they are so few in the world and yet "win" so many "noble" prizes - same ideology as the Nazis
Hinduism - Bhagavad Gita says its ok to murder anyone simply because they said bad words to you and its nothing because the "soul can not kill, and its only a garment that will reincarnate", and if a officer orders you murder then you must do it what the rabbi/master orders you no matter what.
In fact, all people are told that you must follow blindly/worship the rabbis/masters, sheikhs, experts, scientists who are often only actors, "news", TV...
      That is not Eslaum.
